• Acting for Two:
  • Azusa Tadokoro not only voices Mei, but also Yomogi's unnamed grandmother.
  • Yomogi's unnamed father, exclusive to the audio dramas, is voiced by Kōki Uchiyama, who voices Sizumu in the show proper.
• Meaningful Release Date: SSSS.DYNAZENON premiered on April 2nd, 2021, which coincided perfectly with the re-release of Episode 22 of Denkō Chōjin Gridman on Tsuburaya's official YouTube channel. This episode is particularly special as it featured the debut of Dyna Dragon, in which the titular Dynazenon is based off of.
• Playing Against Type: Jason Liebrecht as Koyomi Yamanaka, who starts in the series as a NEET and a non-action guy. This later changes though.
• Post-Script Season: In an interview with series director Akira Amemiya, he stated that establishing a proper sequel for SSSS.Gridman while the series was airing was too difficult due to the way the series was written and concluded. This didn't mean that the idea of a sequel was completely abandoned, as he would state that because the concept of Dyna Dragon from Denkō Chōjin Gridman wasn't utilized, it could serve as the starting point for one.
  • On top of that, Hikaru Midorikawa, the voice actor of Gridman, expressed on multiple occasions while recording that he hopes a sequel could come out featuring Dyna Dragon. Luckily for him and other viewers, that wish came true.
• Real-Life Relative: Yomogi and Chise are voiced by real-life cousins Jun'ya Enoki and Chika Anzai.
• Recast as a Regular: Jun'ya Enoki had a one-off role as Takato of the group Arcadia in episode 4 of SSSS.GRIDMAN. Here, he gets to play Yomogi, the primary viewpoint character.
• Recycled Animation: A lot of backgrounds are reused assets from SSSS.Gridman, with subtle modification (i.e the train station from episode 2 is the same from Gridman episode 5). Given they both belong to a shared universe, this makes sense.
• Role Reprise: Kenichi Suzumura and Karin Takahashi return as Gridknight and Anosillus the 2nd from SSSS.GRIDMAN. Likewise, Stephen Fu and Monica Rial reprise the roles in the English dub.
• Spoiled by the Merchandise: Those who had bought the Good SMILE company toys for SSSS.GRIDMAN and this series', they can see that Primal Fighter Gridman and Dynazenon can combine. This foreshadowed Gridknight and Dynazenon's own combination into Kaiser Gridknight in Episode 9.
• Temporary Online Content: Like GRIDMAN before it, DYNAZENON leaves out voice dramas on Pony Canyon's YouTube account that act as side stories to that week's episode, staying online until the week afterwards.
• You Look Familiar: The lifeguard from Episode 5 is voiced by Masaya Obi, the actor behind protagonist Naoto from Denkō Chōjin Gridman; Obi had previously appeared in SSSS.GRIDMAN as customer at Rikka's family's store.
