- Acting for Two: David Dastmalchian voices both Calendar Man and The Penguin in Part Two.
- In Memoriam: Part One is dedicated to Naya Rivera who died before the release.
- Posthumous Credit: For Naya Rivera, who died in July 2020. She recorded for her lines in 2018.
- Production Lead Time: The two films begun production before Superman: Man of Tomorrow, but they were delayed to release after it. According to producer Butch Lukic, this is because after production was almost completed on Part One, Warner Bros. higher-ups told him that Matt Reeves' The Batman (2022) was adapting The Long Halloween, and therefore Lukic's movie had to be either released some time after Reeves's movie or not released at all. Production was allowed to resume after Lukic's superiors gave him an update that Reeves' film's plot had been changed and was no longer directly Long Halloween-based. Incidentally, this explains why Reeves's version of The Riddler is a mysterious serial killer: he was originally written to be Holiday!
- Role Reprise:
- Troy Baker, who voiced the young version of the Arkham Joker seen Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, as well as the tie-in film Batman: Assault on Arkham, also reprising the role for Batman Unlimited: Monster Mayhem, Batman Unlimited: Mechs Vs. Mutants, and Batman vs. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, returns to voice The Joker in this film.
- Fred Tatasciore reprises his role from the Batman: Arkham Series and the aforementioned Batman Unlimited: Monster Mayhem as Solomon Grundy.
- Alastair Duncan reprises his role from The Batman and the aforementioned Batman Unlimited films as Alfred.
- Time-Shifted Actor: In the second film, a younger Bruce is played by Zach Callison instead of Jensen Ackles.
- What Could Have Been:
- Adapting the comic to animation was always the number one thing that DC wanted to do, but Bruce Timm had reasons for not doing it immediately and James Tucker was already doing another storyline that he felt borrowed from The Long Halloween.
- Originally, only one movie was planned, and even further back than that, this was originally meant to be another Batman series for DC Access.
- The artstyle was also supposed to be more closer to the comic's, but due to limited time, Lukic had it share the artstyle in Superman: Man of Tomorrow and Justice Society: World War II before moving onto those films, seeing as Tim Sale's artstyle wouldn't fit them and that these films take place in a Shared Universe. If The Long Halloween had been just one movie, he would've kept the original artstyle.
- The Riddler was originally in the film like in the comic, but was cut for time and production issues. He and Catwoman would've had shorts connected to the movie, but they were also scrapped.
- The Stinger was meant to be a Sequel Hook for Justice Society: World War II, but because the two films were released Out of Order, it is now meant for the next film in this Shared Universe.
