- Undignified Death: Judy announces to her tour group how Ben's ancestor, Dickie Hawthorne, died. He is quick to assure Max that the story is an old and untrue rumor.Judy: Great-great-grandson of Dickie Hawthorne, who died the day the mine collapsed, but not with his fellow miners. No, Dickie called in sick that day. His wife found him in the whorehouse and shot him in the face.
