Tropes

  • All for Nothing: When Hopson finally makes a donation, he reveals that he only has two pennies left, having already squandered Agatha's fortune.
  • Artistic License:
    • Kevin and his friends get high on weed, which causes them to hallucinate. In actuality, marijuana is not a hallucinogenic and can't actually do this. However, this is radioactive weed, so I guess that kind of explains things.
    • Also, considering Roger and Waco are huge Dungeons & Dragons fans, it would seem odd that they get this wrong. The dungeon master does not have a character, yet in this episode, the dungeon master turns into an elf with a flame tongue and a frost brand - presumably this is his character when not acting as DM.
  • Blackmail: Agent Clappers blackmails the dolphin queen with DNA evidence, proving that Junior isn't actually Fitz's child, but the son of Bullet when she cheated on him. His goal is to have her get divorced with Fitz.
  • Butt-Monkey: Kevin serves as this to the group the entire episode, getting beaten up and insulted the entire time. Even his D&D character looks like shit.
Kevin: Why is it that everyone else gets cool powers and I look like Danny DeVito fucked ... Danny DeVito?
  • "Dear John" Letter: Agent Clappers forges a "Dear John" letter from the dolphin queen to Fitz and then blackmails her into signing it.
  • Fartillery: Hopson farts straight into Randall's face.
  • Fun with Acronyms: Gina thinks that "LARP" stands for "Little Ass Rectal Poking".
  • Hidden Depths: Camaro Bob returns and tells us some interesting fact about himself; His middle name is Htaed, he's Armenian, and he's had sex with every one of the D&D kids' moms.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: Gina gets called down to Paradise Park after reports of a pedophile. After mistaking Kevin for a pedophile and then realizing her mistake, Gina goes up to the real pedophile and tells him to keep an eye out for any suspicious characters in the area.
Pedophile: Quickly, children! Let's all hide in my windowless van!
  • Imagination-Based Superpower: All of the D&D kids turn into their D&D characters, when they enter the magical forbidden forest. It turns out in the end, this was all just weed-induced hallucinations and the whole time coming from the burning radioactive weed in the area.
  • Immediate Self-Contradiction: Hopson refuses to give Randall any money for an initiative that's his only hope of saving the ruins of his destroyed city and tells him that he's very careful with his money and doesn't just donate to any random joe on the street. Just then, Dusty comes in and asks for five million dollars for a bunch of James Bond bullshit and Hopson gives him twice that, no questions asked.
  • LARP: The main premise of this episode is Kevin LARPing with his friends.
  • Marijuana Is LSD: Kevin, Gina, and the D&D kids have a fever dream of hallucinations, after ingesting a bunch of radioactive marijuana in the forbidden forest.
  • Mistaken for Pedophile: Gina assumes Kevin is a pee-pee toucher when she sees him LARPing with kids half his age in the park.
  • Not So Above It All: Gina disses LARPing the whole episode until it comes time for her to try it out, herself. At the end, she ends up getting more into the game than any of the kids.
  • Nouveau Riche: Hopson inherits millions of dollars after marrying Agatha and goes all out on spending it on random bullshit.
Agatha: You know me. I'm an old-fashioned gal. I believe men should handle all the finances, otherwise, us ladyfolk would squander it all on frivolous nonsense.
Hopson: Check it out! I bought a portal gun!
  • Only in It for the Money: Although we already knew Hopson only married Agatha for her money from the very start, Hopson still drives this point home at the end when he spends all but two cents of Agatha's wealth and immediately files for a divorce.
  • Overly Long Gag: A deleted scene from this episode, featured Bullet standing there and insulting Dusty by calling him a fat pun on every single James Bond movie in the entire franchise.
Dusty: Oh, so we didn't have time for the shit pick-off but we had time for this?
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: Agent Clappers' disguise of Loquacious Pussyjuice.
  • Running Gag: Scenes getting cut for time.
Gina: I haven't seen a red-haired midget puke this many rainbows since-
Announcer: The Irish gay slur was cut for time.
