In their envoy-ship hidden in the asteroid belt, the Evronians are worried that Earth may have other tricks up its sleeve, like Paperinik. So, in order to better study their enemy, and kill the masked duck if possible, they dispatch a commando to Duckburg. However, on their way there, the ships are attacked and heavily damaged by... something. When the last surviving ship lands, so does the mysterious alien, who may cross our hero's path as well...

- Batman in My Basement: It is in this issue that the Ducklair Tower becomes Xadhoom's temporary place-of-residence/port-of call on Earth.
- Big Damn Heroes: Subverted: Xadhoom arrives, and kills the Evronians that are beating PK. How is this subverted, then? She mistakes Paperinik for an Evronian.
- Brought Down to Normal: An interesting case where an object gets this treatment. After Xadhoom crashes the 313-X, Donald has to call a tow truck, and since ha can't leave the mechanic to discover the equipment, he has to disassemble them all, leaving it as a normal car.
- Dynamic Entry: Xadhoom makes herself known by busting a brick wall.
- Captured Super-Entity: One builds an energy sink to contain Xadhoom and give Paperinik a chance to talk to her. She can easily free herself, but wanted to see if he really was on her side. Later the Evronians trap both her and Paperinik in a force field designed to contain solar plasma and they get free when One shuts down the energy in the zone where they are.
- Cool Car: After the 313-X is too damaged to keep going, One gives to Paperinik a prototype that Everett Ducklair was working on, which is shortly renamed the Pikar.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Xadhoom's backstory is not pretty.
- Genius Bruiser: Xadhoom may like killing a little too much, but she's smart enough to arrive on Earth hidden in an Evronian ship (so she can learn where their base is) and to wait to destroy it to first learn if there are others on the planet.
- Heroic Hacker: One hacks into a satellite to locate Xadhoom, and later in the computer of the electric company to turn off the energy and free the heroes.
- Leeroy Jenkins: Discussed: while Xadhoom just want to go in guns blazing, Paperinik is less enthusiastic.Xadhoom:"Don't you like a good "First I smash everything, then we talk" style entrance?"Paperinik:"To make them escape?"
- Let's You and Him Fight: A totally one-sided case: Paperinik wants to thank Xadhoom for saving him; she wants to kill him because she thinks he is an Evronian.
- Meaningful Name / Bilingual Bonus: Xadhoom's real name is Xado: on her planet, Xadhoom means "creditor", since the Evronians owe her her planet and race: and she means to make them pay in full.
- Mundane Solution: How Donald thinks to cure the burns caused by the way Xadhoom feeds? Bicarbonate. And it works.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: Lampshaded when one of the droids notes the similarity between Donald and Paperinik, but the official just thinks the two look alike.
- Planet Spaceship: The Evronian Mothership (500 km long and tall) makes its debut here).
- Play-Along Prisoner: Xadhoom could get free from the energy tube One created anytime she wishes(and later does that). She just wants to see if Paperinik is really on her side first.
- Unusually Uninteresting Sight: Except for One, nobody seems to notice the garbage can-sized droids sent by the Evronians.
- Visible Silence: Paperinik at one point,since he is too stunned to talk after Xadhoom frees herself easily from the trap One built just for her.
- Worf Had the Flu: After helping the troupe of Channel 00 move their things to the 75th floor, Paperinik is so exhausted he forgot to take his weapons to the patrol, making him an easy target.
- Why Don't You Just Shoot Him?: Because he can't. Xadhoom is too powerful to attack head on, so the best the Evronian official can do is put her and Paperinik in a trap they can't get out of and wait until they die of hunger. Would've been an Epic Fail either way: Paperinik would've gotten out with One's help, and Xadhoom could do so herself by blowing up the whole area and possibly the planet.
