Narrator: Previously on… Kamen Rider Gotchard!
Atropos was caught up in the Cerberus Malgam's rampage, before she "Gotchank-ot" saved by Rinne Kudo!
Thanks to this selfless act, Rinne regained her powers as Kamen Rider Majade!
Gotchard and Majade... the two Kamen Riders now combine their powers to combat Geryon's machinations!

Houtaro and Rinne have obtained new powers as Kamen Riders, and Supana is left in the cold after his Chemy Cards were stolen. Suddenly, he receives a visit from his parents who had been away on a journey.

Little does he know, it's a trap from the Angel Malgam. What he learns next will shake him to his core...

Tropes

  • Actor Allusion: Kitchen Ichinose is closed for business because Tamami had a meetup with her friends from high school from a Yo-Yo club, alluding to Yoko Minamino's role as Yoko Godai in the Sukeban Deka movie.
  • Ain't Too Proud to Beg: Supana pleads for someone, anyone, to save his parents from being killed again. Dips into O.O.C. Is Serious Business as he's asking Houtaro.
Supana: (as he's covered in chains) Ichinose... Kudo... Help... HELP ME!
  • Break the Haughty: This episode serves as a rude wake-up call for Supana's dismissive behavior.
  • Broken Pedestal: Supana remembers that Geryon killed his parents with his mentor Kyoka suppressing that terrible memory. Once he returns to her, he rages at her for that.
  • Cliffhanger: The end of this episode has Houtaro and Rinne engaging the Angel Malgam only to get trounced. The matter complicates when Supana enters the fray, transforming himself into the Wheel Malgam again.
  • Character Focus: The episode focuses on Supana's past.
  • Cooldown Hug: Kyoka gave Supana these as part of her way to help him deal with his trauma.
  • Dead All Along: It turns out the incident from ten years ago killed his parents. The Angel Malgam revived them as copies of them to put Supana through the wringer, with Geryon killing them again right in front of his eyes.
  • Desk Sweep of Rage: Supana does this in Kyoka's apartment when he learns that she lied to him about his parents' whereabouts.
  • Final Boss Preview: Our heroes' first real battle against Geryon just leads to Gotchard getting swatted aside while Supana is literally chained down as Geryon kills his parents in front of him a second time. Then he just leaves.
  • Forced to Watch: Geryon forces Supana to see a recreation of his parents dying and makes sure Gotchard can't interfere to stop him.
  • Forgot About Her Powers: Even though the previous episode established she had healing powers, Majade doesn't think to heal Supana's injuries when they try to save him.
    • However, this could be because her healing isn't really healing but in last episode's case, the undoing of alchemy.
  • Hope Spot: Before Supana can become a Malgam, Madwheel forces him to become Valvarad... only for Supana to tear off Valvarad's helm (aka his skull) and transform into Wheel Malgam!
  • Light Is Not Good: The Angel Malgam is the one who pushes Supana over the edge to become the Wheel Malgam.
  • Mood Whiplash: The preview is upbeat and lively while the theme song plays, then it abruptly cuts to Supana screaming in agony and the music stops.
  • Oh, Crap!:
    • Kyoka is suddenly frightened upon seeing Supana's text about meeting with his parents, which can't be true because they've been dead for a decade!
    • While transformed at the time, this is basically Houtaro's reaction to seeing Supana turn into the Wheel Malgam. Even Lachesis is taken aback.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Supana is always shown as stoic and aloof. The fact that he's shown screaming is a sign that things are to be taken very seriously. He also is begging for Houtaro and Rinne for help — the fact that he's asking Houtaro is another alarm that this is bad.
  • The Reveal: Supana's parents died ten years ago and Kyoka saved him from sharing that fate, but not before she had to erase his memories of the incident. He also has an innate alchemical power called "Black Flames".
  • Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Supana gives into his dark emotions and turns into the Wheel Malgam. Bonus points for Supana actually roaring once his trauma gets too much.
  • Rule of Symbolism: Valvarad tears off his face to become the Wheel Malgam, just after Supana's mask of an Arrogant Kung-Fu Guy is ripped into shreds.
  • Shoo Out the Clowns:
    • Tamami is gone to visit some old friends of hers, a subtle sign that this episode is gonna get dark fast.
    • Renge and Sabimaru's presence is limited to two scenes in the episode.
  • Tear Off Your Face: Supana rips off the outer plating of Valvarad's helmet while transforming into the Wheel Malgam. Because of how suits work in this series, this basically means he just skinned himself to the bone alive.
  • That Man Is Dead: Supana tells Houtaro and Rinne to stop calling him by his name, as he considers himself to have abandoned his identity after giving in to his despair and becoming a Malgam.
  • Wham Episode: Supana is forced to remember that his parents are dead thanks to the Angel Malgam, and his anger towards Geryon makes him transform into... a Malgam.
  • Wham Line: Kyoka's Oh, Crap! moment as she tells Kitchen Alliance of Supana meeting his parents should not be a joyous occasion.
Kyoka: Supana's parents... they died ten years ago.
  • Wham Shot:
    • A malice-filled Supana turns into Valvarad, whose body breaks apart to reveal the Wheel Malgam.
    • A flashback reveals how Kyoka got her scar: a black spike summoned from Supana screaming in agony over seeing his parents die grazed her arm.
  • The Worf Effect: Kyoka describes Supana's parents as experts in combat alchemy, and yet they were helpless against Geryon's assault as Supana watched them die.

Titular Chemy: Angelead
Chemies recovered: None, but Madwheel has managed to hurry back to Supana, only to get forced into merging with him to become the Wheel Malgam.
