Narrator: Previously on… Kamen Rider Gotchard!
Houtaro was sent to the past by Gotchard Daybreak, and "Gotchanko-t" to meet his younger self!
By retracing his roots and friendship with the Chemies, he was able to set his alchemy ablaze and become Fire Gotchard!
Together, Houtaro and his friends vowed to protect humans and Chemies.
And thus, the Kitchen Ichinose Alliance was born!

The students turned Kitchen Alliance are in high spirits after their formation, but Rinne is not in a celebratory mood due to the rules of the Alchemists, even though she confirmed her father is still a good man. Things get even more complicated when Minato demands she returns to the Academy.

What will she choose? Perhaps an attack from Atropos will help her decide...

Tropes

  • Armor-Piercing Question: Renge asks Rinne why she didn't hand over her ring to Minato if she really valued the rules. It takes the span of the episode for Rinne to find her answer.
  • Book Ends:
    • The episode starts with the Kitchen Alliance eating together but Rinne refuses to join them. At the end, she decides to join the Alliance and brings the group some desserts to eat together. She also goes from refusing to raid the Alchemists' Academy to deciding to raid it head on.
    • Minato and Rinne have a confrontation on the same bridge. The first one is when Minato asks Rinne to return to the Academy, the second is when Rinne tells him to shove it.
  • Commonality Connection: The reason Rinne saves Atropos is because she sees her as what she was as a child: alone.
  • Even the Rats Won't Touch It: Houtaro's custom cream puffs with meat, which Rinne doesn't like. Even the Cerberus Malgam doesn't like it!
  • Friend-or-Idol Decision: Rinne's main conflict is how Minato wants her to work with him claiming her ring is special even though it would mean betraying Houtaro and her classmates. She decides to stick with Kitchen Ichinose in the end.
  • History Repeats: Just like her father, Rinne says "Screw it" to the Alchemist's Academy and runs off to fight in her own way.
  • Internal Reveal: Houtaro informs Rinne about what he learned last episode about Geryon and Fuga.
  • Irony: In a dose of karma, Atropos pushed Rinne to be eaten by a Malgam. She later gets through the same situation and is only saved thanks to Rinne pitying her.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: Minato chooses to retreat rather than face Fire Gotchard and potentially lose in a one-sided fight.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Atropos immobilizes Rinne so she can be devoured by the Cerberus Malgam. Guess what happens to her a few minutes later?
  • Moment Killer: The Kitchen Ichinose Alliance holds their first meeting, and start to discuss their objectives... then Tamami opens the restaurant for the day and customers start filing into the store, forcing the kids to make their meeting low-key.
  • Mundane Utility: Renge and Sabimaru use Hawkstar and Apparebushido to cool off the overheated Gotcharigniter.
  • My Master, Right or Wrong: Minato defends his betrayal saying all alchemists must obey the Alliance, which Fuga told Rinne. Rinne sees it as utter horse-apples and refuses to join him.
  • Necessary Drawback: Fire Gotchard's incredible power is offset by the fact that the Gotcharigniter can overheat, putting it out of commission for a while.
  • Pet the Dog:
    • Geryon reassures Atropos that he didn't intend for the Cerberus Malgam to hurt her, contrary to his usual Bad Boss tendencies.
    • Minato briefly smiles when Rinne tells him she's leaving the academy.
  • Save the Villain: When the Malgam goes berserk and starts attacking Atropos, Rinne intervenes despite Atropos constantly breaking her in previous episodes, tried to suffocate her once, and even immobilized Rinne to be eaten by the Cerberus Malgam earlier in the episode. This ends up giving Rinne the ability to become Majade once more.
  • Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!: Rinne realizes from Houtaro's words there must've been something Fuga wanted to protect that led him to break the rules, so she decides she's making her own rules and staying with the Kitchen Alliance. This new resolve allows Rinne to re-access her Rider Powers.
Rinne: (as Cerberus Malgam is biting her arm while she's protecting Atropos) I'll make...my own rules!
  • Storming the Castle: Discussed. The Kitchen Ichinose Alliance talks about raiding the Academy to talk with Minato as well as kick out the Dark Sisters, but even they realize they can't do it alone, and Rinne initially shoots down further discussion by pointing out that bringing in civilians would be against the rules.
  • To Be Lawful or Good: Rinne's conflict is about balancing her desire to follow the rules with her morality. She chooses to be Good, reasoning that she can make her own rules along the way.
  • Too Spicy for Yog-Sothoth: It says a lot about Hotaro's bizarre sense in cooking when even the Cerberus Malgam hates the taste of it, despite meat being its favorite.

Titular Chemy: Yoacerberus
Cards used:
Gotchard: Apparebushido + Skebows + Gotcharigniter = Fire AppareSkebows
