It's Valentine's Day and the girls' latest love potion has backfired, turning everyone in Porkbelly into kissing zombies.

Tropes:

  • Absurdly Ineffective Barricade: Bling Bling selfishly abandons the rest of the group and locks himself inside a janitor’s closet, before turning around and realizing he trapped himself with a zombie monkey.
  • Big "NO!": The episode ends on one after Johnny gets a kiss on the cheek after avoiding kisses the whole day.
  • Binocular Shot: We see through this POV when Johnny spots Bumper on the roof of the school.
  • Complaining About Rescues They Don't Like: Susan is not pleased with being rescued by Bling Bling and was almost willing to let everyone be smooched to death by zombies rather than fulfill the condition of being his valentine.
  • The Door Slams You: Johnny and Dukey both get slammed into the wall by double doors when Zombie!Gil bursts into the lab.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: When Dukey says he always thought he’d die strapped to a rocket, Johnny realizes they can use the rocket they saw when they first arrived at the institute to spread the antidote to the rest of the town.
  • Expospeak Gag:
Susan: It’s Valentine’s Day, so we synthesized a pheromone to repress neural activity in the amygdala while simultaneously boosting oxytocin levels throughout the brain.
    Johnny: Ah, got it!
Dukey: Yeah, he don’t got it.
Mary: We made a potion so Gil would want to kiss us.
  • Extendo Boxing Glove: The twins’ latest invention: The Haymaker.
  • Fictional Holiday: Dukey says that Valentine’s Day is at least better than March 9th, which is apparently “National Booger-Eating Day”.
  • Gilligan Cut: After shouting a Big "NEVER!" when told she has to be Bling Bling’s valentine in order for the group to be rescued, the scene cuts to Susan sitting angrily next to him in his helicopter.
  • Girls Have Cooties: Johnny is terrified and disgusted by the idea of girls wanting to kiss him on Valentine’s Day.
  • "Harmful to Pets" Reminder: Subverted. Dukey is actually seen eating chocolate and nothing is said about it.
  • Instantly Proven Wrong: Dukey says they should save Bumper because he’s tough and could be useful to them. Cut to Bumper crying and groveling for his life when they meet up with him on the roof.
  • Iris Out: An appropriately heart-shaped one on Johnny’s lipstick-marked cheek.
  • Love Potion: The twins make a love potion to try to get Gil to kiss them, but it goes Horribly Wrong when it mutates into a zombie virus.
  • Our Zombies Are Different: These zombies don’t want to eat brains, they just want kisses; which, for Johnny, is way worse.
  • Parental Sexuality Squick: Johnny is grossed out by seeing his parents kissing in the kitchen.
  • Pre-Asskicking One-Liner:
    Johnny: Hey zombies, kiss this!
  • Reverse Psychology: Johnny finally gets The Haymaker to work by aiming it in the opposite direction of what he actually wants it to hit.
Dukey: Nice use of reverse psychology on an inanimate object!
  • Rousing Speech: Johnny gives one to rally the rest of the group, encouraging them to not allow every day to be Valentine’s Day and help him save the world.
  • Running Gag:
    • Dukey using some Anticipatory Breath Spray any time he’s faced with the zombies.
    • Johnny trying to use The Haymaker to defend himself but ending up hitting everyone else he wasn’t aiming at instead.
  • Second-Person Attack: While trying to hit the little zombie girl, Johnny shoots The Haymaker at the camera.
  • Self-Destruct Mechanism: Johnny hits the self-destruct button on the rocket (conveniently labeled and everything) to shower the whole town with the antidote.
  • Suspiciously Specific Denial: When Johnny and Dukey run to the twins to tell them about their parents turning into kiss-hungry zombies, they see that the girls know way too much about it to not have been involved.
Susan: Just because we know about it, doesn’t mean we totally caused it by accident and have no idea how to stop it!
  • Valentine's Day Episode: Which Johnny thinks is the “grossest, sickest, barfiest holiday ever invented”.
  • Zombie Apocalypse: Susan and Mary inadvertently infect the whole town with a zombie virus that spreads via kissing.
  • Zombie Infectee: Bumper becomes one after being kissed by one of the zombies and tries, unsuccessfully, to cover up the lipstick mark on his cheek.
