The family visits Italy but problems emerge when Peter decides he wants to stay and burns the family's passports.

- Peter and Lois have a game called "Mysterious Intruder," which at first seems like it's rape roleplay between Peter and Lois. Then it turns out Peter actually broke into a woman's house and raped her while Lois watched.
- For part of their plan to sneak back into the country, the Griffin's pose as Real Dolls in a giant container. However, they don't realize that the dolls are tested first before they are unloaded. Aside from a few female models, Peter is chosen as well and to keep up the facade has to stay still and act like a Real Doll. Peter and the dolls are taken into the testing facility and then out later after a Jump Cut. the audience never sees what happens but as Peter remains perfectly still, tears start to slowly stream down his face. Next when the worker moves everything back on the truck and walks past Stewie, Stewie audibly clears his throat indicating he'd like to be tested too.
- Book Dumb: The couple Stewie and Brian met in Amalfi gave Brian their number, which is an obscenely long number that rules it out from being a real phone number (Stewie only gives a flat Aside Glance while Brian doesn't catch on at all).
- Bridal Carry: Peter is shown carrying Lois inside of the soccer stadium leading to the seats to have her see the romantic message he convinced the soccer players to put up.
- Call-Back: The title itself refers to the nonsense "words" Peter used in McStroke, when he thought he could speak Italian because he had a mustache.
- Failed a Spot Check: The Griffins pose as sex dolls in order to sneak back into America. Despite them looking nothing like the rest of the sex dolls, the worker fails to notice this, and they successfully sneak aboard the ship.
- Kinky Role-Playing: Peter mentions how he and Lois played a game of "Mysterious Stranger" in bed, in which Peter slept with another woman while Lois watched from the shadows. Thing is, the other woman didn't actually consent to the roleplay.

- When Peter repeatedly presses "Guide" on the Italian TV remote, Stewie briefly turns into Bart Simpson, Rallo Tubbs, Bobby Hill, Steve Smith, Allen Gregory, Louise Belcher, Manny Delgado, and Bender.
- Meg starts a relationship with Mario.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: While in Italy, Meg get an Italian boyfriend who is revealed to be Mario. After the family moves back to Quahog, Mario arrives for Meg and calls her his princess before whisking her away on a date to a castle in the Mushroom Kingdom.
