Tropes found in "Soda-pressed":

  • Biting-the-Hand Humor: Nora asks what the Warners have done to help Warner Bros. make money. Yakko says that they signed up for HBO Max. To that, Nora says "Not. Good. Enough."
  • Getting Crap Past the Radar: The Warners' song is cut off before they can sing about eating chicken wings at a restaurant that rhymes with "scooters".note 
  • Idol Singer: Gigi Soda is a "kid-fluencer" and pop idol who is put through a ton of hell, and never gets to act like a kid outside of her on-stage persona.
  • Ladies and Germs: "Ladies and...who am I kidding, just ladies."
  • Major Injury Underreaction: Dot sings about skinning her knee, with a Stock Femur Bone visibly sticking out of her broken leg.
  • Musicalis Interruptus: The Warners sing with Gigi about being a kid, but as they sing a lyric about chicken wings, Nora stops the song short to scold Gigi.
  • No Celebrities Were Harmed: Gigi Soda for child star Jojo Siwa.
  • No Ending: After Dot reveals she had taken Gigi's reward, she ends up giving a vicious What the Hell, Hero? before going crazy, leading the Warners to jump off the water tower as she chases after them, followed by it cutting to black.
  • Shout-Out: Yakko parodies the moment at the 2009 VMAs where Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift's speech.
    Yakko: 'Scuse me, Imma let you finish, but Dot Warner is the most influential girlfluencer of all time!
  • So Much for Stealth: When the Warners are sneaking up on Gigi's mansion, Dot gives Wakko hand signs on how to break in. Wakko gives a thumbs up, sneaks up to the door...and rings the doorbell while saying "Hello, Gigi Soda, it's me Wakko Warner, and I'm here to steal your award!". An angry Dot pounces on him, sending them both through the door while Yakko follows with a shrug to the camera.
  • This Means War!: When Gigi ends up winning the Lifetime Achievement Award, Dot decides to break into her house and steal it...until she sees how overworked she is.
  • Trap Door: Nora pulls one from beneath the Warners when Yakko mentions HBO Max.
  • Troubling Unchildlike Behavior: The Warners are shocked when they attempt to steal the award from Gigi's mansion and come across her having fallen asleep from staying up all night editing her videos then beginning her hectic work meetings schedule for the day.

  • Cargo Ship: Starbox is paired up with Cindy's doll in the play she's holding and falls in love with it in spite of himself.
  • Death Is Cheap: In Cindy's play she casually kills off Starbox's love interest and just as casually says the character is alive again.
  • You Have Failed Me: Due to Starbox's inadvertent delay in starting the invasion of Earth, the ruler of the Grimlox dispatches an enforcer to eliminate him and start the invasion. Unfortunately, the assassin ends up getting caught by Cindy as well.
