Funny / Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Go To

  • Meena trying to get Chloe to buy something but gets nothing out of her. She tries to steal her Ganesh idol, but is soon caught and sighs as she returns it.
    • She later promises Meena that if she could sneak her onto that truck, she would buy her pizza later. She makes good on that promise.
  • Sure, it's bleak, but:
Chloe: Just an active warzone, nothing you can't handle.
  • In a callback to Uncharted 2, Chloe at one point can fall into a flowing river of water, at which point Nadine will tell her that they don't have time to play Marco Polo. Chloe has a laugh about it, at which point, we get the trophy 'Marco Po-No'.
  • Driving through the Ghats, you can find a...
    Chloe: Flamingo convention!
  • Chloe takes a lot of pictures throughout the course of the game. Probably the funniest one is when she takes a photo of Nadine acting as a statue.
    • Nadine doubting that Asav will be able to follow her and Chloe up the massive sculpture of Ganesh, because "he doesn't have the stones to climb this high." Chloe chuckles at this.
    • Chloe can also take a picture of the exact moment a monkey jumps on Nadine. Girl's got good reflexes.
  • Nadine ordering Chloe to stop the elephant, Chloe exasperatedly replies, "Because I speak elephant?!"
  • Nadine and Sam's animosity towards each other is so similar to two kids who hate each other's guts fighting in the hallway. Chloe lampshades this.
Chloe: (sighing) Time and place, children.
Sam: (not missing a beat) Bike racks, after school.
    • Also, when Chloe and Sam reunite, Sam's voice is raspy from having the shit kicked out of him, but he still greets Chloe good-naturedly, "Heeeey, buddy."
  • When Asav finally gets his hands on the Tusk, Chloe has another sharp-tongued moment.
Asav: Oh, what? Nothing to say now?
Chloe: Well, if you'd like, I can tell you where to stick it.
  • The no nonsense Nadine telling Sam Drake "Relax, you'll live longer," which is the same thing that Chloe told her earlier in the game. Chloe could not be more proud, and Sam is left wondering what the hell just happened.
    • An earlier moment also has Nadine playfully push Chloe off a cliff into a pool of water to "clear her head."
    • A late game moment involves Chloe getting into a jeep to chase after a train loaded with a bomb that will detonate in the city and start a civil war. Nadine tries to talk her out of it (as they have just gotten the Tusk) but Chloe refuses, and even Sam goes along with her. A minute later, Nadine tells Sam to get out of the jeep, saying three simple words: "I call shotgun." Sam obliges.
  • When Nadine holds Orca at gunpoint, you might see Sam pop his head up behind her.
  • Lost Legacy features a photo mode, where the expressions of Chloe can be altered. This photo mode even functions during cutscenes, so we can be treated to photos of Chloe making completely inappropriate faces during certain scenes.
  • Sam diving in to save Nadine from her right hand man shooting her with a hidden gun. He compliments her shot before adding that her aim was a bit off. She bitterly tells him to "get the hell off me", and he quickly gets off.
  • Nadine admitting that she would give the treasure hunting business another go, but needs a partner. Sam is acting casual as he leans over to offer, but Nadine bluntly shuts him down saying, "Not you". Sam turns away and awkwardly takes a drag of his cigarette.
  • Sam pranking the two by pretending to have lost the Tusk. Nadine punches his shoulder in retaliation, and Sam sadly responds after he realizes he dropped his last cigarette.
  • After aaaaalll the trouble they've been through, Sam would like to know just what their haul will be:
Sam: How much you think that we're gonna get for that baby?
Chloe: Well, surely the Ministry of Culture will give us a generous finder's fee.
Sam: [starts chuckling] Yeah... You guys are hilarious. The Ministry of Culture... Oh my god, you're serious.
    [cut to black]
  • Sam finds them and tells them to climb so he can pull them to safety. Nadine crawls over Chloe, who is straining against the new weight.
Nadine: Don't worry, it's all muscle.
Chloe: (through gritted teeth) That's what they all say.
  • The credits, which has a bunch of adorable children's book-style chibi-like depictions of Chloe, Nadine, Asav and a few others in a brief summation of the plot of the game. It features such things as Chloe and Nadine driving a 4x4 with little monkey guides, a smiling Chloe and a grumpy-faced Nadine riding the back of an adorable elephant, and the scene summarizing the end of the armored car chase showing said armored car on fire while Asav is facepalming.
    • The after credits scene of Chloe, Nadine, and Meenu enjoying pizza, while Sam tries to convince the two into selling the Tusk. Finally Meena tells him to stop ruining the moment and gives him a slice of pizza. Apparently very good pizza going by Sam's face.
  • There's a trophy for immediately driving Chloe and Nadine off a cliff at the start of Chapter 4, appropriately titled "Let's Not Get Caught".
