- Issue 1:
- The timeline in the beginning, and the offhand way it mentions Dante Alighieri being a Cobra agent.
- Blackrock's reaction to Rom telling the humans that they are "messing with forces you do not understand"? "That has literally never stopped a single human."
- Action Man sheepishly trying to explain that he has loads of human friends.
- Kup realising that Mayday was the one who locked him up once, and saying that he likes her.
- Issue 2:
- Kup pacifying the situation with the Micronauts with the universal greeting.
- Action Man complimenting Storm Shadow on being on-brand with her X-crossed swords.
- Also, Action Man calling the Micronauts' ship a "Nerf drone". And calling Storm Shadow "Tetsuo". In fact, pretty much every scene with Action Man.
- Mayday confessing that she would have dreamed of surfing down to the moon on a robot when she was a kid.
- Issue 3:
- Soundwave eventually concluding that the Talisman is more trouble than it's worth and leaving.
- Kup mentioning that Richard Ruby's movies are terrible... while praising Thundercracker's writing.
- This:Ian: "I actually do know this."Kup: "That's my lad!"Ian: "Thanks, Kup."
- Issue 4 gives Kup a lot of time to shine:
- Kup being completely oblivious as to why Snake Eyes didn't want Kup pretending to be him while quipping over his fight.
- Kup commenting that he knows Razorclaw's weakness... before just shooting him in the head and killing him.Ian: "That's his weakness?"Kup: "Well, it's a lotta fellas' weakness."
- Ironblood's comments:Ironblood: "A robot ninja fronting for a rubber-masked Trojan horse carrying a mechanical alien. Oldest trick in the book."
- Issue 7 having a time-displaced Sgt. Robert Steven Savage encountering the Revolutionaries thanks to the Talisman— and turning out to be Totally Radical, having embraced the 90s when he was transported to 1994. He's gushing about 90s culture all throughout the issue, and in flashbacks— which are very Liefeld-esque— he's shown with the 90s-style Action Man fighting all the enemies that were in vogue during the decade: ninjas, skateboarders, eco-terrorists and mutants. At one point, when he fights Baron Ironblood, he shouts "Eat my shorts!" completely seriously.
