• Matt's Establishing Character Moment:
  "This should be fun..."

• The first interaction between Matt and Mike should tell you all about their relationship.
  • Later in the cafeteria, they have another banter.
  Mike: Jeez, you're such a downer.
  Matt: (smirks) Thank you.

• The conversation that Matt and Mara have while spying on Mike is both heartwarming and funny, as Matt teases Mara about Mike.
  • Matt shows his Shipper on Deck side later again when he retorts to Mike teasing him about meeting Evelyn's dad by calling Mara and arranging a meeting between her and Mike. The latter becomes a nervous mess during the call.
  Matt: Smooth, Henderson. Real smooth.
  • Mike's response to the above is a Big "SHUT UP!".

• Mike and Mara are pretty much the same person when they deny their feelings for each other.

• After getting betrayed by his false friends, Mike rushes to Matt, Evelyn and Mara for comfort...And Matt manages to cheer him up within seconds. Doubles as a heartwarming moment. Even Mara and Evelyn add to the scene in their own way.
  Mike: (After he and Matt hug) Okay Matt, don't treat me like I'm a child now.
  Matt: That is the price of having a best friend, Mike.
  (Mike laughs at Matt's words)
  Evelyn: You two are so cute.
  • Even better, Matt and Evelyn tease Mike and Mara to the point where they start blushing madly!

• The first interaction between Jordan and Asher just before all six become acquainted.

• The first time the six have lunch together, Mara makes a joke about Matt being old because he called them "kids". It's especially hilarious when it backfires on Mara as everyone starts teasing her when they find out she's the youngest, and all she can retort with is this:
  Mara: Y'all are dorks.

• Really, anytime Mike and Mara interact with each other, they're bound to make each other and their friends laugh.

• This:
  Mike: We should totally stay over at one of our houses sometime.
  Asher: Oh yeah, that'd be dope.
  Matt: (thinking) Who says dope anymore?

• While Evelyn and Asher are walking Rose home, Evelyn asks Rose where she lives and the latter replies that it's not that far thankfully. When Evelyn echoes "thankfully", Asher turns to Evelyn and tells her to be nice, forcing Evelyn to clarify that she was being sincere. Then she gives us this gem:
  Evelyn: (thinking) Have I spent too much time around Matt?

• Matt is confused when Asher glares at him for getting a chair for Rose.
  Matt: What?
  (Nobody answers him)

• Following Rose's apology to the group is a heartwarming and funny moment involving a group hug.

• Mara, Evelyn and Jordan are saddened by recent events within their friend group, so Mike and Matt decide to mess around to cheer everyone up by messing around and teasing them.
  • Jordan's retort to their antics is this:
  Jordan: You guys are so cheesy.

• When Jordan gets detention, Mike remarks how the former is only calmed by the presence of Mara and Evelyn, leading to this exchange:
  Mara: It's cause we are girls and you are stinky boys (Then, she sticks her tongue out).
  Mike: (scoffs) I'm officially offended.
  Matt: (giggles) I partially agree.
  • Matt also demands that Mara apologize to Mike, and the cheeky girl just boops Mike on his nose, saying that she's not sorry.
  Mara: Awe, is lil old Mikey mad at me?
  • Followed by this is Matt proclaiming that he will take Mike for himself. Mara immediately wrapped her arms around Mike and hissed.

• The climax is a sad, tearjerky mess...so Mikara to the rescue! Literally, just count how many times they make the scene funnier and warmer.
