  • Boyfriend has some pretty painful landings at the beginning of each week. The slip in Week 3 isn't as severe, though in Week 1, he literally falls from the sky and lands head-first into dirt (with cartoony sound effects, to boot) before Cuphead finds him, and in Week 2, he painfully crashes after a five-minute fall next to Sans, who lets him recover before challenging him.
  • At multiple points in the mod, Boyfriend makes rather silly-looking faces during cutscenes, such as while Mugman leaves the scene and when he knocks over the Bendy cutout.
  • In each of the pre-song cutscenes for Cuphead's week, Boyfriend responds to the cup's threats with a long Beat... then issues a single-
    Boyfriend: Beep!
  • At the end of "Technicolor Tussle", Cuphead reaches his Rage Breaking Point and then recalls what Mugman told him earlier. Mugman (portrayed as a simplistic doodle) tells Cuphead not to commit violence… unless it's against a boy with a red hat, blue hair and a white shirt, in which case he has full permission to "go frickin' wild".
Cuphead: Ah yeah! Good ol' reliable Mugman!
    • In that same cutscene, after Cuphead finishes reeling from another microphone to the face, he sees Boyfriend cycling through his various poses at high speed, which seems to be the exact cause of Cuphead hitting the aforementioned Rage Breaking Point.
  • A little more than halfway through "Knockout", there's a short Beat where Cuphead fires an EX attack at Boyfriend… only for Mugman to come back at exactly the wrong moment and take the brunt of the attack, dying in the process, complete with "A KNOCKOUT!". You even get an achievement for failing to dodge the attack, called "Take One For the Team".
    • Another detail: Look at the pose his body is in after he gets hit.
  • The post-Knockout cutscene includes Boyfriend attempting to mic-smack Cuphead out of the Energy Beam Super Art... only for Cuphead to catch the mic and drag an understandably stunned Boyfriend in for a point-blank Mega Blast.
  • The cutscene before "Final Stretch" has Frisk barely miss stabbing Sans. Sans then admits "well this is awkward" before promptly dealing with them like an afterthought. Boyfriend is left staring at Frisk's corpse in shock before he and Sans launch into the third song.
  • The first half of "Imminent Demise" has you face off against Bendy… or, more accurately, a cardboard cutout of him. At certain points, the camera pans over to it, like it's going to sing… but it doesn't. Because it's a cardboard cutout.
  • During the cutscenes before Sansational and Terrible Sin, Frisk and Sammy both attempt to approach Sans and Bendy respectively, but faceplant right into an unbreakable barrier. A bit after, they're both seen trying to smash through those barriers unsuccessfully, with Frisk even throwing the Annoying Dog at it and Sammy letting out a bleeped-out Precision F-Strike when his axe bounces harmlessly off of it.
  • While Boyfriend being beaten within an inch of his life by Bendy is terrifying, the buildup to it does contain a bit of Gallows Humor: after being chased down and subjected to a Neck Lift by Bendy, Boyfriend responds by smacking him in the face with his microphone. There’s a short Beat, and then the camera cuts to outside of the room as Boyfriend is thrown through the wall by the Ink Demon, having learned the hard way why you Do Not Taunt Cthulhu.
  • At multiple points during "Bonedoggle", Sans can either nod off or suddenly play the drums with bones and his skull (which sounds like a xylophone), prompting Papyrus's usual foot-stomping annoyance towards his antics.
    • Sans also konks out right at the end of the song, leaving Paps glaring at him with quite the expression.
  • During the first break in Last Reel, Jack from the Stickman VS Bendy series can be seen walking from the hole in the background, before reacting accordingly to Bendy being there and running away.
  • Upcoming song "Hello Huggy" has its own fair share of laughs, not only incorporating Stylistic Suck for the Neighbor and Huggy Wuggy and having Banban, Jumbo Josh and Opila Bird spectating, but near the end of the song, MatPat pops up out of nowhere to Huggy's shock, who quickly scares him off to let the song continue.
