Episode 1:

  • Fogg and Passpartout set off on their journey, with Fogg excitedly declaring, "The adventure begins!" Gilligan Cut to Fogg being sick over the side of the boat from Dover.

  • "Will people stop FIRING at me!"

  • As they flee the Gendarmerie who believe they were involved in shooting at the French President, Passpartout finds the trio an escape route; into the sewer. When Fogg balks, Passpartout asks him if he'd rather live or die. Fogg's expression plainly says, "Which one doesn't involve a sewer?"

Episode 2:

  • After crashing the hot-air balloon, Fogg points out that the controls were confusingly labelled. Passpartout finds a flaw in his logic.
Fogg: What idiot labels things in French?
    Passpartout: A Frenchman!

  • After Passpartout drops his bucket of ash, Abigail calmly fills up another one and climbs up to Passpartout's spot on the front (over Fogg's protests, because he had her positioned in the back where it's safe).
Abigail: [To Passpartout] You had one job.

Episode 3:

  • Fogg's Translation by Volume has no effect, partly because he's trying to order beer in an Islamic country.

  • When Fogg and Passpartout's guide steals Fogg's watch and leaves them stranded in the Thirsty Desert, Fogg excitedly declares that they still have their money! Passpartout is less than thrilled.

Episode 4:

  • Fogg is distracted from his attempt at a Rousing Speech.
Fogg: There's a fly in my eye! There's a fly in my actual eye!

  • Passpartout, traumatised by killing a man in the previous episode and seriously tempted to drug Fogg as he's been bribed to, settles for ranting at him in French instead. Fogg, who doesn't speak French, can only sit and take it in bewilderment.
Passpartout: [In French] ... And I hope [the tea] has those floating bits in it that you hate!

  • Fogg's Mushroom Samba, at least until it turns deadly serious, plays fast and loose with the line between this and Nightmare Fuel.
    • While trying to have a serious conversation with a British Army officer about the fate of a man arrested for desertion, Fogg starts giggling uncontrollably. The officer leaves in disgust, even as Fogg protests that he has no idea why he keeps laughing.
    • Passpartout, still thinking that what he gave Fogg was a sleeping drug, quietly suggests a couple of times that Fogg should retire, until he's waved off with an irritable, "Stop telling me to go to bed!"
    • Fogg has an animated discussion about music with a cow he insists is a violinist. A second violinist, actually, and he's a little sensitive about it.
    • He then regales the cow with a rendition of "The Roast Beef of Old England".

Episode 5:

  • Fortescue and Bellamy discuss Abigail's article about Fogg's history with Estella, which reveals that his epic journey is fuelled by a broken heart. Bellamy dismisses the article as sentimental, while Fortescue defends it as a possible new, more subjective form of journalism. Bellamy accepts that, but points out that "Foggy will blow his brains out with embarrassment" when he learns about it. Fortescue nods, like, "Well, yeah, there's that."

  • The garden party. For context, Fogg is being prevented from withdrawing his money from the bank, who have been told by Kneedling that he's a fugitive who must be prevented from leaving before the warrant can come through (although Fogg has been told his paperwork simply hasn't arrived yet). Fogg tries to get the money by borrowing it from the Governor at a garden party being thrown in his honour by Lady Clemency, the Governor's wife and Fogg's biggest fan. Why is she so enamoured of Fogg? Because Abigail's latest article paints him as a tragic adventurer trying to mend his broken heart, by revealing information Fogg unknowingly shared with her while poisoned. When Passpartout points out how humiliated Fogg will be by what she's done, the two resolve to keep him from knowing about the article at all costs... cue Lady Clemency, who would very much like to discuss the article with him. The whole thing plays out over an increasingly-fraught rendition of "In the Hall of the Mountain King" as Passpartout tries to smooth along Fogg's attempt to get money and Abigail frantically tries to keep Fogg and Lady Clemency apart. Both missions fail, as Lady Clemency gets to Fogg just as the Governor's about to sign a loan, resulting in a humiliated Fogg storming away with Abigail trailing after him to the Governor and his friends' amusement.

Episode 6:

Episode 7:

  • Fogg is a Clueless Chick-Magnet as Abigail warns him that their stagecoach driver Sally is attracted to him, leading to his becoming adorably flustered when Sally expresses an interest.

  • Abigail is sending a telegram to her father when the lines are cut. The operator is less excited that "Either the bank's gettin' robbed, or someone's gettin' murdered" than he was a moment ago to send a telegram all the way to London.

  • When he, Passpartout and Bass Reeves are held at gunpoint, Fogg is presented with a Sadistic Choice; cut off Passpartout's finger and go free, or die with the others. Passpartout urges him to go through with it and survive... but just as Fogg is steeling himself to do it, Passpartout sees Abigail outside gesturing them to stall. Passpartout yells "WAIT!" and starts giving an increasingly-bewildered Fogg instructions on how to amputate the finger properly. Fogg's increasingly-nauseated WTF? look through all this must be seen to be believed.

  • During the saloon fight, Fogg attempts a Groin Attack on a giant Mook. It fails spectacularly. Becomes less funny when it almost gets him shot, but his Oh, Crap! expression when the very-much-not-felled-and-very-enraged man turns on him is priceless.

Episode 8:

  • Fogg's reunion with Estella. He risks missing his boat and losing the bet to stand under the clock in the postcard she sent him, possibly reasoning that the time on the postcard is the correct meeting time, plus a few minutes more just in case. Finally, he gives up and turns to go, only for a woman's voice to call, "And where do you think you're going?" He turns and runs to her amid the rising music... which cuts out as she starts slapping him about the head and shoulders, calling him an idiot. He stands there and takes it, because, y'know, she's got a point.

  • Held up at Customs and faced with losing his bet due to a month-old warrant, Fogg tries to just make a run for it. He's tackled almost instantly.
