- A Lizard Named "Liz": Slog is a sloth-like monster.
- Big Eater: Guapo loves food, it’s the driving plot point of “The Incredible Flub”, his appetite gets him out of control and he becomes a constantly-hungry monster.
- Big Good: A character named Stellina is mentioned to be this in the first story, she helps the alternate universe thrive and prosper as she protects it.
- Big "NO!": Fraz shouts “NO!” when he realizes they’re trapped in Fusionville.
- Birthday Episode: “The Incredible Flub” is a birthday episode for both Fraz and Guapo.
- Declarative Finger: Cricket lifts his finger when he points out Pig is mad at him for constantly rebuffing his friendship.
- Does Not Like Spam: Guapo hates broccoli and brussel sprouts, he turns back to normal from his hunger craze after being tricked into drinking a smoothie with those blended together.
- Face Palm: Fraz covers his face when he reluctantly decides to go to a party at Guapo’s request.

- Hulk Speak: When Guapo grows large from greediness, he speaks in third person with poor grammar.
- Joke of the Butt: Guapo mentions a show he likes known as “Buddy Buttocks”.
- Laser-Guided Amnesia: Everyone’s memories of their old lives are mentioned to have been erased when the universe is reborn.
- Literal Cliffhanger: Fraz is trapped by being suspended at the edge of a cliff, but SwaySway flies him over to safety.
- Loud Gulp: Fraz gulps loudly when he hears a creepy growl in the woods.
- Messy Pig: Pig picks his nose a lot and loves the idea of being covered in mud.
- Punctuated! For! Emphasis!: Guapo shouts “Guapo… Want… More!!!” after he bursts out of the Hoog.
- Rejected Apology: Raisin tries to apologize to Pig, but Pig is no longer interested in being his friend and would rather be Slog’s friend.
- Single Tear: Pig sheds a tear after rejecting Raisin’s apology.
- Skewed Priorities: The Hoog is moving dangerously fast and Guapo simply complains about spilling his sandwich.
- Surprise Party: “The Incredible Flub” has SwaySway, Pickle, Gus, Fanboy and Sanjay surprising the Flubs with a party at SwaySway’s place.
- Swapped Roles: Usually Raisin is annoyed by Pig and wants to be left alone, but then Pig wants Raisin to leave him alone.
- Sweet Tooth: Guapo becomes huge and greedier after he eats too many sweets and it causes him to want more junk food.
- Was Too Hard on Him: Angry Old Raisin wonders if he was too harsh saying he hates Pig all the time.
- Whole-Plot Reference: “The Incredible Flub” is a parody of “Secret of My Excess” from ‘’My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic”.
