Janet Kathleen Davies, (14 September 1927 — 22 September 1986), was a British actress best known for playing Mrs. Pike in Dad's Army.

At first worked for The BBC as a secretary before moving onto repertory theatre in 1948. Her agent, Ann Callender, was the wife of David Croft. When Davies was short of work, she worked as Callender's secretary, which was very valuable to Davies' career when Croft co-wrote Dad's Army as she was quick to snap up the role of Mrs. Pike, the mother of Private Pike. Davies appeared in 30 episodes across the show's run, but due to Executive Meddling from Columbia Pictures, Liz Fraser took her role for The Movie, Dad's Army (1971).

Outside of Dad's Army, Davies made several guest appearances in famous Britcoms, including All Creatures Great and Small (1978), Are You Being Served?, Bread (1986), The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, Last of the Summer Wine, Open All Hours, and Terry and June.

She died of breast cancer at the age of 59.
