"I can't believe it's been forty years since the show first aired. There is such a loyal fan base, and they are going to love this, it's like going back in time and being back in the original pub!"

Gwyneth Strong, (2 December 1959), is a British actress best known for playing Cassandra Trotter in Only Fools and Horses.

She started acting at the age of thirteen, in a production of Live Like Pigs at the Royal Court Theatre. The following year, she had a major role as Mary Valley in the horror film Nothing but the Night and later went on to play Minny in Edward the Seventh.

She starred in the railway-based children's series The Flockton Flyer in the late '70s as Jan Carter but wouldn't get another major role until the very end of The '80s. Strong joined the cast of Only Fools and Horses in the sixth series as Cassandra Parry, a love interest for Rodney and his eventual wife; Strong was absent from a few Series 7 episodes due to a marriage crisis plotline for Rodney and Cassandra but she stuck with the series until the end.

Following Only Fools, Strong made many guest appearances in drama series including CASUAL+Y, The Bill, Silent Witness, and A Touch of Frost, the latter of which reunited her with David Jason, the star of Only Fools and her on-screen brother-in-law.

In 2008, she starred in the West End musical Our House as Kath Casey and in 2011 was back in the theatre in the play A Round-Heeled Woman. Her final acting role to date came in 2016 when she played Geraldine Clough in six episodes of EastEnders.
