World's Finest: Teen Titans is a July 2023 comic written from Mark Waid and Emanuela Lupacchino.

It is a Spin-Off of Waid and Dan Mora's Batman/Superman: World's Finest, continuing the adventures of the Teen Titans during their classic era and while Dick Grayson was still Robin.

Pre-release material for World's Finest: Teen Titans provides examples of:

  • Adaptational Early Appearance: The series presents Bumblebee as a Titan before Mal Duncan, who was her boyfriend and entire reason for becoming part of the team in the original Bronze Age comics.
  • Ask a Stupid Question...: The first major foe the Titans take on is the Separated Man. Speedy asks why he's named that before the team's promptly attacked by his hand.
  • Continuity Overlap: Downplayed, but the spin-off branches off from the events of Batman/Superman: World's Finest's second arc Strange Visitor (wherein the Teen Titans had first appeared and played a significant supporting role).
  • Mythology Gag: Bumblebee's casual outfit is her costume from the Teen Titans animated series.
  • Official Couple: The series starts out with Donna Troy and Aqualad in a relationship.
  • Properly Paranoid: Batman doesn't trust Robin in the Teen Titans, mostly because he has no idea how trained his teammates are. Seeing as Speedy is treating the team as photo ops and the like, he has a point.
  • Retired Badass: Golden Eagle is this, keeping out of the costume and sticking around to help with the team's social media.
  • Selfie Fiend: W. Scott Forbes' Variant Cover for Titans #1 shows Wally West and Dick Grayson doing this.
  • Soft Reboot: The spin-off is being touted as a modern retelling of the Teen Titans' classic adventures.
  • Spin-Off: Of Waid and Mora's Batman/Superman: World's Finest, which featured Dick and the Teen Titans in a significant supporting role during the first year of the run.
  • Variant Cover: According to the press release, Lupacchino will be doing variant covers. Additional variants will be drawn by Waid's Daredevil collaborator Chris Samnee, Evan "Doc" Shaner, Jim Cheung, and W. Scott Forbes.
