• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Some of the criticism seen towards this mini-series that is that is only focuses on the core "Fab Five" line-up of Robin, Wonder Girl, Speedy, Kid Flash, Aqualad, and Bumblebee, instead of incorporating more of the original Silver Age team members such as Charley Parker/Golden Eagle (who only appears as a retired vigilante-turned social media manager), Lilith Clay (who has a small appearance in issue #2), Bette Kane, or Duela Dent, which makes it seem like its pandering to fans of the Teen Titans animated series just like the 2023 Titans run.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Some fans of Roy Harper were annoyed by the first issue mentioning that Green Arrow took him in off the streets, due to there being no mention or allusion to Roy's usual backstory of growing up in a Native American reservation (consistently a Navajo one in Arizona). With how overbearing and overcompensating Roy comes across in the later issues, it would've made far more sense to deliberately explain that his behavior was an attempt to shield how uncomfortable he feels being part of a world he wasn't raised in or to mask how much he misses his old home since Green Arrow is barely around.
