Yuuma Asahikawa

A friendly guy who meets and falls in love with the titular T. rex.

  • Interspecies Romance: With Churio, a dinosaur.
  • Japanese Delinquents: He used to be a pretty well-known one in high school, but decided to change after the Nice Girl he liked turned him down for a date because she was terrified of him.
  • Nice Guy: Is it any wonder Churio falls for him?
  • No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: He apparently dished out one of these to 70 thugs before the series began. He gives one to Kageshima off-screen early on, as well.
  • Official Couple: With Churio.
  • One-Man Army: Once beat up 70 thugs, sending them to the hospital. It catches Kageshima by complete surprise to see him so calm when they meet again.
  • Unfazed Everyman: Rarely changes his expression throughout the series. If he drops his smile, it's either for a joke, he's about to lay down a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown on someone.

Churio

The titular T. rex who becomes Yuuma's girlfriend.

  • Cute Monster Girl: She's a pretty young woman who happens to be a huge T. rex.
  • Innocent Fanservice Girl: Unsurprising, seeing as she's one of the few dinosaurs who isn't super into civilization at the time she first appears.
  • Interspecies Romance: With Yuuma, a human.
  • Little Bit Beastly: She's essentially a T. rex centaur, her lower half being the body of a T. rex, as well as her arms being the arms of one.
  • Nice Girl: Despite her fearsome appearance (which she obviously can't help), she's a genuinely friendly gal once she starts to get more acclimated to civilization.
  • Official Couple: With Yuuma.
  • Scary Teeth: Being a T. rex, she has huge, sharp teeth.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: MEAT! Unsurprisingly.

Trica

A Velociraptor and old friend of Churio's.

  • Childhood Friends: With Churio.
  • The Fashionista: One cover art even has her stating that fashion is "a woman's finest weapon".
  • Feathered Fiend: Averted. She's not evil or cruel.
  • Little Bit Beastly: Her lower half is a set of scaly legs and a tail with a fan of feathers at the tip, while her arms have large, feathered wings.
  • The Ojou: Has shades of this.
  • Raptor Attack: Given the nonsensical nature of this series, the lack of accuracy on her part is forgivable. She notably does have a covering of plumage, including wings on her arms.
  • Winged Humanoid: As a Velociraptor, she has a set of feathered wings on her arms, though she's also a case of Wings Do Nothing, as like real Velociraptor wings, they're useless for flight.note

Numano

One of Yuuma's human classmates.

Hiroya Kagashima

An unlucky former underclassman of Yuuma's.

  • Butt-Monkey: Fills this role the most.
  • Dogged Nice Guy: To Trica.
  • Face of a Thug: Zigzagged. When Churio is helping with his job, Yuuma tells her that a nice smile is important for customer service. Kageshima points out that her grin full of teeth is only going to scare people, and Churio points out that he's got a pretty scary face himself. Kagashima then proceeds to demonstrate how he can immediately turn it off and look charming for customers, scaring both Churio and Yuuma.

Nowol

A two-faced young pterosaur who can't fly.

Kram

A lonely Ankylosaurus who has trouble communicating and emoting due to her facial armor.

  • Death Glare: Her default expression, but not willingly.
  • Face of a Thug: She has a perpetual frown and Death Glare due to her species having their facial muscles stiffened by armor.
  • Little Bit Beastly: Has a tail with a club at the tip.
  • Misunderstood Loner with a Heart of Gold: She's friendly, she just can't help her scary appearance.
  • When She Smiles: Pulls one when she shows that she can, in fact, emote. However, it causes so much pain due to her facial armor plates that she can't so much as talk for a long time afterward.
