Characters / Holo-Chronicles - Divine Realm

Go To

The home of all non-local gods in the setting, known by them as the Empyrean. Each of the gods here is far superior to a local god, and also bear some variation of the Deus Trait.

    In General
  • Gathering Steam: If a god of the Divine Realm is to enter the human realm, their power is significantly reduced, forcing them to either wait it out or take... alternative measures until their divinity goes back up to the point where they can do what they wish to do.
  • Takes One to Kill One: To fight against a god of the Divine Realm, one must be using divinity in some form, whether it's innate or within a divine weapon, in order to both attack and defend. They can simply No-Sell anything non-divine, unless it's backed by the Purity Trait instead, which is the only loophole in this.

The Council

    Tsukumo Sana

Trait ability: TBA

The Speaker of Space, and one of the three Primordials in the Council.

    Ceres Fauna

Trait ability: TBA

The Keeper of Nature.

    Ouro Kronii

Trait ability: TBA (possibly the Chronos Trait)

The Warden of Time, as well as another of the Council's three Primordials.

    Nanashi Mumei

Trait ability: TBA

The Guardian of Civilization, and a late-comer to the Council. Having personally seen the destruction of Atlantis at Omega's hands, she joins IRyS in trying to stop the Elder God.

    Hakos Baelz

Trait ability: Calamity Trait: Chaotic Order

The Primordial who represents Chaos, and the most powerful of them all. Ironically for the embodiment of chaos, she is quite the stickler for rules, thus being firmly opposed to IRyS attempting to prevent Omega from continuing their crusade.
  • God of Chaos: As expected.
  • Reality Warper: Her evolved trait is able to freely screw with the senses and powers of everyone within the planet-sized dimension it generates. Combined with her authority, she is able to freely control basically everything around her.
  • Winds of Destiny, Change!: She is able to control probability and luck using her authority.
  • World's Strongest Woman: As said before, she's the strongest Primordial by a landslide. While her physical abilities near-constantly vary, her powers are so absurd that it is believed that winning a 1v1 against her is simply impossible.

The Elder Gods

    Omegaα

Trait ability: TBA

The Elder God of the Beginning and the End, who's made it her mission to destroy all worlds she deems "unnecessary". Being an Elder God, she would normally have the power to do it quite easily, but due to how gods of the Divine Realm function, she has to partake in some God-Eating along the way to restore her divinity. Often simply referred to as "Omega"
  • Arc Villain: Of the Advent of Omega arc.
  • Cessation of Existence:
    • She can induce this through the "end" aspect of her authority, to the point where any unpowered individuals can't even remember it.
    • Potentially separate is what happened to the erased city. When Omega landed at the heart of the city, her presence interfered with the very concept of the planet, causing a "conceptual explosion" that supposedly wiped it from existence. Aloe was able to survive it by awakening to the Resonance Trait, however.
  • Combat Tentacles: Her main form of attack is summoning many, many tendrils capable of piercing flesh, bone, and armor with similar ease. And by many, we mean hundreds of them, if not even more. They can stretch out for quite the distance too, and are able to tag Suisei, so it's usually all they need to kill most things in their way. It is stated that at 50% divinity, their speed, attack potency, and durability transcend the realm of human knowledge. They are known as the String of the Gods before 50%, and the Hands of Malevolence after.
  • Cool Sword: Has one that somewhat resembles a katana, though she only pulls it out if she believe she has to. Like against Jormungandr due to its sheer size. This is very appropriate, as it is an anti-divine weapon which's damage output depends on the divinity of Omega and her opponent, it stacking together to produce what is typically a One-Hit Kill. It is also capable of cleaving multiple planets at once, cutting through Shiva's universe-burning flames (and stated to likely be other universal attacks), and extending at Omega's will according to their level of divinity at the time.
  • Destroyer Deity: She takes on such a role in her crusade, destroying any worlds deemed to not be necessary. And seeing as she's both the beginning and the end, this is quite an appropriate role.
  • Holy Halo: Has a triangular one. It's known as the Halo of the End, and everything within a certain radius is slowly and unavoidably destroyed the moment it is activated.
  • Person of Mass Destruction: Even without all of her fancy destruction abilities, she is able to simply fly through stars and planets and destroy them, eliminating entire galaxies one star per second. There's also the conceptual explosions she can generate by interfering with the concepts of planets...
  • Power Parasite: She is capable of consuming the divinity of another god even without needing to kill them. This is mostly used on Primordials to enforce the laws of the Empyrean Ladder and force them back into the Divine Realm, as killing the very living concepts that run the world and keep things operating by merely existing is... not the best idea.
  • Wound That Will Not Heal: Any wounds inflicted by her tendrils cannot be healed through any non-divine means. This even includes the Purity Trait, which typically acts as a loophole for the Takes One to Kill One rule of the Divine Realm.

Others

    IRyS

Trait ability: Victory Trait

A nephilim that acts as a god representing the concept of hope. Being very much not pleased with how callously Omega is destroying world after world, along with a god's enforced complacency, she decides to rebel in the name of protecting the mortal realm.
  • Adaptive Ability: Her authority lets her grow stronger based on how dire her situation is. She mainly survived against Omega because of this, and it is even stated that she could've possibly hurt Omega with this power, and seeing as Omega was able to take on Shiva's cosmos-burning flames and barely get singed, it shows just how powerful it can make her.
  • Power Crystal: Her crystal-based abilities actually allow her to store her divinity for later use, which lets her (with sufficient prep-time) go into the mortal realm already at full power.
  • Semantic Superpower: Her trait lets her achieve "victory" against anything, even including the Council and the Elder Gods. However, the definition of "victory" depends on IRyS' mindset. Normally, she just considers herself surviving to be a victory, but if her demon side takes over, that switches to killing her opponent.

    Primordial of Order

Trait ability: TBA

Baelz's counterpart, and the fifth member of the Council prior to Mumei joining. It is currently unknown what caused her to relinquish her seat, not what happened to her afterwards.
  • Continuity Nod: Somewhat. Her design is based on one of the past scrapped character designs from hololive.

    Primordial of Simplicity

Trait ability: TBA

  • Continuity Nod: Somewhat. Her design is based on one of the past scrapped character designs from hololive.
  • Eyepatch of Power: She wears what resembles a medical eyepatch, and is one of the strongest gods in the series as a Primordial.
