Eh, they're close enough that it doesn't really matter. If they were major characters I'd look for more accurate ones, but it's not a big deal. This is why I usually try to use manga art for the pictures.

On a totally different (and pointless) topic, what genres of music do you think that the cast of Negima would listen to? I have some rough ideas about some of the cast:

• Negi: Classical for the most part; his whole "British Gentleman" thing demands it, and I can't really see him listening to a lot of other music. If he ever would go for more modern stuff, it probably wouldn't be any harder than Simon and Garfunkel, or the Beatles' early stuff.

• Nagi: Classic Rock and early Heavy Metal: Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, stuff like that.

• Arika: Classical, like Negi, and she probably raises a stink about Nagi's preferences, although it's just posturing as The High Queen and she secretly enjoys Nagi's music.

• Eva: 80's metal, Metallica, Megadeth, etc.

• Yue: Probably more technical music with a philosophical/True Art Is Incomprehensible bent; probably stuff on the light end of the Progressive Metal spectrum, like King Crimson, Shadow Gallery, or Dream Theater's early work. Possibly into Heavy Mithril. Would probably enjoy some of Iron Maiden's more literary songs.

• Nodoka: Acoustic Rock, stuff like John Mayer or Trace Bundy. Would also like progressive stuff, though probably not to the same degree as Yue

• Rakan: Dragon Force style Power Metal

Anyone else get the feeling that Chapter 297 is going to fuel a lot more Tearjerker entries to Negima's page? Especially once they have to leave their perfect worlds.

Yeah, expect some Prozac marketing in the next few chapters. Whose bubbles DIDN'T show up? I'm counting Chisame, Kaede, Paru, Yuuna, and Makie absent. And FUCK but I would have liked to see Asuna's or Anya's.

On another note: At Raso's request, I'm starting a "live blogging" series of Negima!? episodes. Currently I've got the first 7 episodes on hand, and well work through them over the course of the next 7-10 days, barring any Real Life interruptions.

Starting with episode 1:

Okay, Setsuna's fantasy cracked me up. Anybody else think that the real test here isn't a test of Negi's personal temptation, but of his desire to protect his students? I mean, he's always held their well being above all else, so he'd be almost more reluctant to see his students pulled out of their dreams than to be pulled out of his own. I'm also curious what the crap is going on in the last panel. Maybe Zazie's turning off the Lotus-Eater Machine.

How big are the image files? I'm pretty sure that the image uploader has a size limit because it's normally used for page images. Also, where did you get the episodes from? I'm having a hard time finding fansubs.

That's one thing that's been bothering me: The Image Uploader has a limit on both file size (200 KB) and image dimensions (something about "200px-300px"), yet I keep finding a few images that despite being hosted on "static.tvtropes.org", are clearly over the dimensions limit. (and probably the size limits, too.) Anyone know what's going on?

I use www.Imageshack.us for my image uploading no size limits, can upload as many as you want at one time, and its got a handy resize feature.

also I was deliberately trying to avoid posting that link in here because its dual-audio funi rip ect. (I got the OAVs and first series dual audio as well)

its a shaft thing all stuff by this director has random blackboard comments.
