This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

In YMMV.Fire Emblem Warriors, please delete the first Author's Saving Throw example. It's ultimately unnecessary and seems like a misuse of the trope since the initial complaints were from a time when not much was known about the game.
For the third example of the same trope on the same page, please remove the "To some extent towards" part for being Weasel Words/Word Cruft. Or just delete the entire thing wholesale for being another outdated complaint; I don't care.
Finally, add the four line break (----) to the bottom of the page.

YMMV.Fire Emblem Warriors edit is done. The locking request for Lets Pew Die Pie is denied until the time where there is an actual issue on the page; I remember controversies about this person in the past and yet no locks were needed.

For that Wadanohara entry to be added to L to Z, I made a slight alteration:
- Sal is an albino salmon shark masquerading as a friendly dolphin under Princess Uomi's court. As the Ambassador of the Sea of Death, Sal conspires to release Princess Mikotsu, the result of which would plunge the sea into death and madness. In the past, Sal steals the sacred sword whilst sexually assaulting Wadanohara in an attempt of extracting information from her. When Samekichi—Wadanohara's familiar as well as Sal's twin brother—defeats him, Sal gleefully removes Wadanohara's memories before incriminating Samekichi as the traitor. Sal also orchestrated the war between the Sea Kingdom and the Totsusa Kingdom by sending an inflammatory letter to Princess Totsusa. While he claimed to have genuinely loved Wadanohara, he doesn't hesitate with stabbing her with the sacred sword and leaving her for dead when she rejects his advances. A psychopathic sadomasochist, Sal darkens the mood of an otherwise light-hearted game.
