This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

Done to here.
Would like to add Historical Beauty Upgrade as a redirect to Historical Beauty Update, to match similarly-named tropes Historical Villain Upgrade, Historical Hero Upgrade, and Historical Downgrade.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Requesting that Riddled With Bullets be redirected to Multiple Gunshot Death.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Main/ptitle16sctcg9: Please recreate and cutlist the page to get rid of a phantom ptitle wick.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I'm wondering why The Four Gospels is still unlocked (as a subsection of The Bible, one of the most longstanding and infamous permalocks.) I'm requesting that it be remedied tout de suite (because there is not a chance in Hell of The Bible ever being unlocked, and the last thing we need is atheist trolls discovering a method of Loophole Abuse.
Because the Gospel page has not created any issues. Thus, the request is denied.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYes, we craven atheists are just foaming at the mouth to vandalize every article having vaguely to do with anything religious. Bunch of rabid attack dogs, we are. No moral restraints. Face Palm.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Well, to be fair, the page is rather obscure compared to the main Bible page, so maybe that's why? Idk honestly. And it's not like preemptive locks atrent a thing around here either (Hillary's useful notes comes to mind). And I wasn't trying to imply that all atheists are trolls (almost the exact opposite in fact; some trolls are atheists and go out of their way to use that fact as the driving force of their trolling.)

There is a couple of minor additions that I would like to see edited onto the Sonichu YMMV page.
Firstly:
- Esoteric Happy Ending: At the end of Sonichu #10, Chris and his allies stand triumphantly over their enemies and justice has been served to Simonla's murderers, but to do so, they've committed countless crimes, maimed or murdered hundreds in the process, engaged in a show trial, engaged in some of the most brutal atrocities in the name of revenge, and otherwise became far worse monsters than their enemies.
Secondly, as a secondary bullet point under Memetic Mutation:
- The front cover of Sonichu #0, where Chris tells Sonichu to go "out and zap to the extreme", has ended up becoming perhaps the most frequently parodied image from the entire comic. The most popular form of parody is to substitute Chris and Sonichu with other characters.
@Fighteer: He said "atheist trolls", a very specific subset of atheists. Though technically self-proclaimed atheists who troll others over their non-atheism would classify as anti-religious instead, because atheism =/= antireligion.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Requesting that Witches and Wizards be redirected to Wizards and Witches.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. If there's a problem with The Four Gospels, it'll be handled under wiki rules, whether it's atheists, overzealous Christians, or anyone else. Religion or lack thereof only matters here if a troper makes it a problem.

Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettPlease remove the {{Badass}} entry from Final Fantasy VII. Please also remove the sinkhole to the same trope on YMMV.Final Fantasy VII in the first Rescued from the Scrappy Heap example.
Please add this to Super Sentai (and also italicize the title on the header):

CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsI would like to submit the following to Fallen Creator:
John C. Wright was once considered a very promising science-fiction/fantasy author, with his opera prima The Golden Age being seen by many as one of the best SF debuts in years. Unfortunately, after having visions which converted him into Christianity, he ended up taking his new beliefs too far. Now, after having done such things as joining his friend Vox Day in the latter's infamous attempt to sabotage the Hugo prize for its perceived left-wing bias, or savagely disparaging beloved creators Bryan Konietzko / Michael Dante DiMartino (for Legend of Korra's Les Yay ending) and Terry Pratchett (for his defending euthanasia), it can be safely said that the SF mainstream considers him little more than a source of embarrassment.

When the Darth Wiki was truly Darth: http://web.archive.org/web/20151224131522/http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/DarthWiki/WallBangerI think the problem with the "atheist trolls" thing (I understand Fighteer's reaction) has been referring to such a weirdly specific subset. All trolls are problematic, not just the atheist ones. What if one Hindu troll puts that Jesus sucks Lord Vishnu's balls, would that be so implausible? Since when do all religious people respect all the other religions? I'd be more careful next time (OK, stopping the sorta-off topic here).

When the Darth Wiki was truly Darth: http://web.archive.org/web/20151224131522/http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/DarthWiki/WallBangeras I understand it, Fallen Creator has to do with works, media, and how the person's career relates to them, not personal behavior (however odd it looks).
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettNah, it's simply about creators who had lots of success ending up bad. The reasons are not important, although Overshadowed by Controversy is a trope that can be applied in many instances.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDone to here.
At Digimon, please replace the current quote with this:
- Digimon World Data Squad: Lucemon is The Man Behind the Man for both Tsukasa Kagura and Creepymon. The king of the Dark Area and the Chao-Mao Digimon, he's orchestrated everything in the plot by manipulating Kagura's feelings of jealousy to do whatever it took to revive himself. Through him, Lucemon made sure five children throughout the world were merged with one of the Code Keys of the Seven Deadly Sins to create Mao Digimon, The Great Demon Lords. He also has Creepymon attack Kosaburo Katsura and Biyomon to retrieve the Code Keys he's attained. After Creepymon assaults DATS HQ but is defeated, it's revealed Creepymon was made of a former DATS member Masaki Nitta, who was aware of his situation but unable to spot himself, and cannot go back to being human, essentially dying as data before his daughter. When Kagura finally releases the seal on Lucemon, he betrays Kagura and tells him how he deceived the scientist. After absorbing Kagura, Code of Key of Pride himself, Lucemon flees, but not before spreading the influence of the Dark Area. An evil Digimon who deemed himself infinite, immortal, and absolute, Lucemon is a remorseless Omnicidal Maniac who desired to engulf everything in the Dark Area.

CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsThanks. It would be nice if, also in Fallen Creator, someone edited this in the Anne Rice example:
And then this. How many slippery slopes can one person go through anyway? In any case, people are still awaiting something to make up for the Amazon incident....
There should be three points (...), not four.
And someone should write an example of this trope about Bill Cosby, because boy is he the most Fallen Creator I've ever seen.

When the Darth Wiki was truly Darth: http://web.archive.org/web/20151224131522/http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/DarthWiki/WallBangerCan we lock the Steven Universe pages until the 30th? There has been a bit of Edit Warring regarding the leaks.
I have things to do and daddy issues to repress! In addition to correcting the aforementioned ellipsis in the Anne Rice example of Fallen Creator, someone please change in my John C. Wright example of said trope the word "prize" to "award". Thank you so much.
