This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

Please remove the Cave Story example from The Chick. Curly Brace is not the chick. She helps out mimigas, but simply choosing a feminine role in some areas doesn't mean that she's The Chick; she also attacks you with a machine gun, and matches you shot for shot in the super hard extra section, and is not shown to be emotional or motivational or really the trope at all.

Two requests:
- Please delete both entries for Tragic Bromance at Characters.The Vampire Diaries Main Characters. I'm not familiar with the show, but the context states that they became vampires nearly at the same time and they both appear in the story as main characters after the death, which is not this trope (the hero's very close friend dies and it dramatically changes his life).
- Please crosswick this example from Atonement to the page False Rape Accusation.
- In Atonement, Briony Tallis thinks her older sister Cecilia is being sexually harassed by their childhood friend Robbie Turner. (The sex they had was consensual.) When her cousin Lola gets assaulted at night and doesn't remember anything, Briony concludes that Robbie must be her attacker, even though he's innocent. Only Cecilia and Robbie's mother believe him. Briony's accusation and testimony drive the plot of the novel.

The Monster.Film subpage has a few Star Wars examples that presumably don't belong there because Star Wars has its own CM subpage, which the Film page links to. Furthermore, the Star Wars subpage already includes examples that more or less duplicate the examples on the Film subpage.

Gideon was pointing out that (some of?) the Star Wars examples are duplicated on the main Monster.Film page. The examples on that page should be removed, as the Star Wars examples now have their own subpage.
