The last fifteen minutes or so of Kick-Ass.
My Bloody Valentine. A mediocre slasher movie that some Shoegazing band named themselves after. I say mediocre, but it has its charms and some spooky atmosphere is gotten out of the whole mining town setting. Also, I like watching movies that use the Horror Doesn't Settle for Simple Tuesday on the holiday that they are about: I have April Fools' Day on the same DVD, so I guess I'll pull said DVD out again in a couple months.
War. With Jason Statham and Jet Li. I rather liked the ending. (And those random ninjas that appeared in one scene)

Everyone call me elf monsterThe Grand Budapest Hotel. It was really funny and clever and quick-witted, and flamboyant without it getting overboard.
Stand up against pinkwashing, don't fall for propogandaEscape from L.A.. I'm doing this thing I did last year where once the weather starts getting cold, I start watching movies/shows/etc set in warm climates. This is a very 90's movie, and in fact I'd sort of call it more dated than Escape from New York, due to special effects that haven't aged well, more focus on satire, and a soundtrack mainly full of Industrial Metal and Alternative Metal note . Overall, I found it pretty entertaining though, and I feel like nothing that features Kurt Russell, Bruce Campbell, and Steve Buscemi could be entirely without merit.
Thor the dark world: decent movie.
"How can I bring joy when I now know we are bringing misery to thousands of innocent people?"Wrong Turn 2. One of the few movies to go straight to DVD that is actually good. A lot of reviewers say that it's better than the first and I definitely agree with them.

If you have a problem with Hokuto then tell it to me!ATARI: GAME OVER, a documentary about the ET game. It was good shit.

please call me "XionKuriyama" or some variation, thanks! | What is the good deed that you can do right now?Last half hour or so of Total Recall - the Arnie and only version. Rumours that there was a remake are just that.
John Wick. As far as Roaring Rampage of Revenge action movies go, it's right up there with the best of 'em. If you love dogs, you should definitely see it.
"If you think like a child, you will do a child's work."The 5th Wave. Pretty mediocre. The main character's plot was... Twilight. What with the stalker, non-human love interest, whose creepy tendencies were toned down from the book, according to my friend, to my surprise. Her classmate's plot with the child army was bearable, though.

Holy shit, that's what I was so bugged about when it came to the romance in The Fifth Wave! Everything!
"If you spend all your heart / On something that has died / You are not alive and that can't be a life"The Transformers: The Movie. I haven't watched the show since I was a kid (and had never seen the movie at all), so it was interesting to see how it held up - it doesn't always, but it's fast-moving enough that it remains entertaining. As a kid, Grimlock was one of my favorite characters because he was a freakin' robot T-Rex, but now he's one of my favorites in the movie because the writers were clearly having fun with his Hulk Speak dialogue: Favorite lines include "Me Grimlock need new strategy!" and "Tell Grimlock about petrol rabbits again".
Summer Rental: Kind of an average eighties comedy, but John Candy's performance makes it work.
It cracks me up. I have noticed, though, that Sproglet 1 has changed from being quite like Agnes to being almost exactly like Edith.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'I just watched High Anxiety again. It's still as good as I remember. :)
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Zootopia. It was released early where I live.
"I just want what everyone else has, that's all."I just finished watching Gilda. It was very fascinating. :)
To tell the truth, watching it made me think of Rachel. :) ^_^;;
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Just watched Jurassic World. It was actually pretty good, probably the best put-together of any of the Jurassic Park movies as far as cinematic value is concerned. I can see why it's popular.
Join my forum game!Hot Fuzz. I know I'm late to that train by about 9 years, but holy shit it's awesome!
- Bonesaw (2006): Not bad.
- Murder Collection V.1 (2009): A throwback to Mondos and shockumentaries, though all of the footage is staged (the uninformed viewer would likely be fooled, however). Worth watching if you have an interest in those types of films, are a horror anthology buff, or a simple gorehound.
Before Zootopia, the last movie I saw in a theater was Rango. And the last movie outside of theaters was Song of the Sea.
I'm a lazy bastard, so I don't watch movies often, but when I do... they are special.

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! From Dusk till dawn: good movie, though the change from crime movie to vampire was....unexpected.
"How can I bring joy when I now know we are bringing misery to thousands of innocent people?"
Deadpool.
