Per wiki policy, Spoilers Off applies here and all spoilers are unmarked. You Have Been Warned.

There will be a Time Skip arc
  • After Muzan was defeated, there are other demons lurking around and Tanjiro and the rest of the Demon Slayer Corps will prepare for them.
    • Jossed. Muzan stopped creating Demons following Nezuko's surviving the sunlight, and it's heavily implied that Yushiro and Chachamaru are the only surviving demons.
    • A time skip is confirmed but it's more of an epilogue than an arc.

There will be other Heroic Sacrifices
  • Tamayo - Muzan's seal was broken and later on, kills Tamayo.
    • Confirmed as of chapter 180.
  • Giyuu - his secret technique will cost his own life much like Shinobu.
    • Jossed, he survives as of chapter 204.
The ending will be a Bitter Sweet Ending
  • The Demon Slayer Corps may have stopped Muzan, but Nezuko is still either a demon or possibly dead due to Muzan unleashing a plague that kills all demons including Tamayo and Nezuko when he dies.
    • Jossed. Nezuko is turned back into a human, and Muzan never releases such a plague.
    • Confirmed in the sense that Nezuko is successfully turned into a human, Muzan is defeated, and the main 4 plus Kanao, Yushiro, Murata, and some of the well-known Kakushis survive. However, all the Hashira minus Giyu, Sanemi, and Tengen have fallen in battle, Genya, Tamayo, and Kagaya (as well as Amane and two of their oldest children) are also dead, and Tanjiro is left crippled after recovering from Muzan's attempt to turn him into his successor. Plus, if the Demon Slayer Mark curse were to still take in effect, then Giyu, Sanemi, and Tanjiro will die at 25.
Muzan will absorb Nezuko and gains a sun immunity
  • In a similar fashion to Kars, Muzan might be able to recover from his wounds and sneak out of his cocoon and reach Nezuko's location, absorbing her and being able to finally gain sun immunity. The final battle will most likely be Tanjiro vs Muzan in broad daylight and Tanjiro will use what's in the letter from Senjuro to defeat Muzan and save Nezuko.
    • Alternatively, Muzan will manage to find the Blue Spider Lili and gain a sun immunity.
      • All thankfully jossed. Muzan does neither of these things due to Nezuko being far away and the Demon Slayers stalling Muzan until the sun rose.
Genya and Kanao will join the main characters after the Infinity Dimensional Fortress Arc
  • After gaining lots of character development and spotlight in the Infinity Dimensional Fortress Arc, it makes sense to bring additional main characters to join the party, most likely on their next adventure.
    • Well, it's jossed for Genya because of what happened in chapter 179...
Nezuko will regain her humanity by the end of the Infinity Dimensional Fortress Arc
  • This would be an important element in the story because it's what Tanjiro's been trying to do since the start of the series and it seems that his goal is getting closer now that Nezuko used Tamayo's medicine.
    • Well, it's confirmed as of chapter 196 where Nezuko has returned back to being fully human again thanks to the medicine. How she will survive this arc is unknown for the time being.
      • As of now, Nezuko does survive after Muzan has been defeated, so it's safe to confirm that she's alive and human again.]]
Tanjiro, Giyu, Zenitsu, Inosuke and Kanao survive the Infinity Fortress Arc
  • With the climax of the story in place, Muzan and the Upper Moons left are not playing around. With Shinobu, Genya, and Muichiro dead, nobody is safe from the carnage. At the very least, the 5 main characters shown on the color page on chapter 152 will survive the events of the arc.
    • Confirmed.
Tamayo may have left a note or passed down her knowledge of the medicine beforehand
  • Tamayo was ready to face Muzan, but surely she would have left a note or hopefully given Yushiro her knowledge of making the medicine to help humanity from Muzan's demon curse before entering into the battle.
Hinokami Kagura's 13th form.
  • The name will most likely be a Title Drop (Kimetsu no YaibaTranslation) and will cause Tanjirou's blade to turn red in order to permanently put an end to Muzan. The name will likely also include dawn to match the theme of the rest of Hinokami Kagura's forms.
    • Partially jossed. While it's confirmed that Tanjiro's blade does turn bright red, Hinokami Kagura's 13th form is actually performing all 12 forms in succession and continuously. It's revealed in chapter 192 that the Hinokami Kagura dance that Tanjuro taught Tanjiro (the dance that continued until morning) was the 13th form all along. And it was confirmed that Hinokami Kagura IS the Breath of The Sun style, which Tanjiro had learned during his temporary comatose state.
the possible English voice cast since it will come on Toonami in October

The series takes place in the same timeline as the Raidou Kuzunoha games.
  • Because why not?
  • A Fanfic/Crossover would be pretty cool.

Nezuko will play a key role in Muzan's downfall
Due to her Blood Demon Art allowing her to burn demons, Muzan's attempt on absorbing her will backfire on him spectacularly.
  • Thankfully jossed. Muzan never gets the chance to do so because Nezuko was still far away from the city and the other Demon Slayers stalled him long enough until the sun rose.

Muzan will pull a Grand Theft Me on Tanjiro
Half-confirmed. Half-jossed. While Muzan didn't exactly pull a Grand Theft Me on Tanjiro, he did transform him into a demon while implanting his memories into him.

Nezuko will be the key to bring back Tanjiro's senses
  • After Muzan turned Tanjiro into a demon, there are two possible ways for that to happen when he sees Nezuko.
    • Tanjiro will regain his senses and memories when he was a human similar to how Nezuko regained most of her memories when she was a demon.
    • Tanjiro's at first attempts to kill her, but Nezuko reminds him who he was and he starts to cry.

Alternatively, Tanjiro will have to be killed
  • Considering that the entire corps were hellbent on killing Muzan, and Tanjiro has now been turned into his successor, it's highly likely that Tanjiro will have to die for the sake of everyone else. Would make for a truly Bittersweet Ending.
    • Jossed

Nezuko will still have and retain most of her demon abilities and will be like Genya
  • Jossed. She's turned completely human by the end and seemingly keeps none of her demonic abilities.

There will be a Happy Ending Override
Damnit. It's jossed.

Giyu was going out with Shinobu's sister Kanae Kocho
Giyu had a Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl relationship with the elder Kocho sister. With what I know about Kanae, she was the former Flower Hashira who is Tanjiro's carbon copy personality-wise, believing in the existence of good demons. Kanae also resembles Giyu's sister Tsutako Tomioka both physically and personality wise, which might help out a bit. She and Giyu were both Hashira at the time Sanemi joined, and her Flower Breathing is an offshoot of Giyu's Water Breathing. At the time Giyu met Tanjiro, he was most likely grieving her death at Doma's hands since he was seeing Kanae's kindness in Tanjiro who was begging him to spare his only remaining family, which is why he is extremely harsh towards Tanjiro at first. Kanae's compassion and belief in the existence in good demons most likely affected his judgement in sparing the demonized Nezuko after seeing her protect her brother, behavior that is completely unheard of in demons. Also, Shinobu is always hanging out with Giyu in the present, even though she doesn't seem to like him very much. She seemed to stick around with him because he was her sister's closest friend and wanted to know what exactly she saw in him.
  • Seemingly jossed, as the Fanbook reveals that Sanemi was the one that had an interest in Kanae.

Muzon is a 4th, 5th, or 6th generation Vampire of one of the 12 Clans, Possibly the Tzimici.
He is powerful, but too weak to be a Antidiluvian, but a sire or grandsire (Or Great-Grandsire) of one would definitely explain his powers.

Due to his unique Demon Eater powers, Genya's blood could have been used to create a cure
Genya turned into a demon and back frequently. If Tamayo had gotten a sample of his blood, she could have made her cure much faster than she did working with blood from the Demon Moons that Tanjiro collected for her. However most of the Corps didn't know about her or her research until much later in the game. And it never occurred to Tanjiro to try and use Genya, viewing him solely as a friend and not as a possible resource for Nezuko's cure.

The Swordsmith Village Arc will be adapted into a movie like the Mugen Train Arc
Factors that would benefit this treatment include that the arc is largely in a single location, two Upper-rank demons attack at the same time, and Zenitsu and Inosuke are mostly absent from the arc. It could also possibly end with a suspenseful cliffhanger that will lead into the final season.
  • Jossed. Ufotable has confirmed that it will be in tv format.

Demon Slayer takes place in the same universe as JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
Muzan is a different kind of Pillar Man and instead of the mask he can infect others with his blood. The Demons are all vulnerable to sunlight or to the swords of the Demon Slayes. The demon slayers breathing techniques all come from Sun Breathing which may be a form of Hamon which flows down sun touched ore of the swords wielded by the demon slayer corps.

the remaining voice actors for the remaining Upper Ranks
So far, Upper-2 (Mamoru Miyano), Upper-3 (Akira Ishida), Upper-6 (Miyuki Sawashiro, Ryōta Ōsaka, NEW Upper-6 (Yoshimasa Hosoya) are confirmed. What about the rest?

The anime will adapt sidestories such as Giyu Tomioka Gaiden 1 and the light novels either as OVAS or filler.

Kimetsu Gauken will become an anime and be just like Attack on Titan: Junior High.
Come on, people will pay billions just to see the characters not be absolutely miserable for once.

Anime will give and Adaptation Expansion to Hakuji's dad like they did with the Kanroji and Tokito families.

Keizou and Koyuki's dub VAs + Lauara Post's replacement

Muzan had respect for Kyogai
Why did Muzan spare Kyogai when kicking him out of the 12 Kizuki when he mercilessly slaughtered 4/6 of the current Lower Ranks? Well he had a soft spot for Rui and thought Enmu's sadism gave him potential. The rest however where foolish cowards and died because of that coupled with their inadequacy. Kyogai however attempted to actually work his way back into the 12 Kizuki instead of begging Muzan for more power like Rokuro did. Muzan might've known that Kyogai was more diligent and maybe because of this decided to simply boot him.

The name "Hashibira" was Doma's idea.
Kotoha was fleeing an unwanted husband and possibly didn't have her own surname or at least know how to write it. "Hashibira" is deliberately unusual compared to most Japanese surnames, and Doma has just the sense of humor to give a woman whose life was in his hands a funny name.

Sweep The Board! is a preview for Hinokami Chronicles 2.
Made by the same company I believe, reused models, and several of the bosses'moves in St B are straight up recycled from either story mode or arena mode. So it isn't a stretch that the game provides snippets of an upcoming update to Hinokami Chronicles featuring both a story mode for the Entertainment District Arc, and content for the Swordsmith Village Arc in general.
