Nights is a mass-collaborative fiction writing by a small group of online friends. The setting includes undead, psychics, furries, random monsters, and generally crazy plot.Boy oh boy are you in for the cringe.

Crossers
KAITOU
Professional "Good-for-Nothing". A strange fellow who is cursed, and can summon occult minions to do his bidding.- Adorable Evil Minions: The bulk of KAITOU's summons are these. They're individually weak, and mostly rely on sheer numbers to overwhelm the enemy.
- Awesome McCoolname: Spells his name deliberately in all caps. He has also slew of other pseudonyms for when "KAITOU" just won't cut it.
- Cursed with Awesome: KAITOU is afflicted with a "curse" that allows him to (among other things) walk up walls and ceilings, turn invisible for a short time, and see in infrared. It's no wonder he doesn't mind it much.
- Dark Is Not Evil: Both KAITOU himself and the nature of his abilities can be rather creepy, but he's actually not that bad of a guy.
- Detect Evil: KAITOU's powers allow him to detect the source of myths and folklore; the loose strand of hair on his head perks up whenever he senses their presence.
- A secondary effect is the ability to tell when someone is lying, as "Lies are technically myths, too; just smaller".
- Expy: Literally. KAITOU is a character carried over from an old, abandoned incarnation of Lamentable Nights. He is, in fact, the same character from the old RP who encountered a bad end and was left to die in a dimensional rift, but somehow wound up being trapped in this world instead.
- Lightmare Fuel: One of KAITOU's minions is a chainsaw-wielding monster, but it's completely incompetent at fighting and is actually quite friendly.
- Madness Makeover: KAITOU was once a pretty different guy. Then something happened, causing him to snap completely. Surprisingly, this actually changed him for the better.
- Nightmare Fetishist: KAITOU has a borderline fanatic love for urban legends, usually of the spookier, dangerously occult kind.
- Stringy-Haired Ghost Girl: Sen, one of KAITOU's summons, is one of these.
- Weaksauce Weakness: KAITOU has a debilitating sensitivity to the cold. He wears a winter coat in the middle of summer and still complains about being chilly.

- Unusually Uninteresting Sight: the panzer ears and tails at times, though justified by the fact that wearing animal ears is considered a fashion style.
