House of Nargala

    Arc Nargala

Arc D'Lazharl Nargala

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc_nargala.jpg
The young head of House Nargala who gains the mysterious power of Macht in order to recover the woman he loves.
  • Does Not Like Spam: Arc hates liver, but ends up having to eat it once a week as a Power-Up Food while preparing for the Macht ritual.
  • Empowered Badass Normal: He's a weakling at the start of the series, but with a push from Lati he spends a full year training hard ahead of her ritual, and is quite buff and well-trained by the time she infuses him with Macht.
  • Find the Cure!: Curing his father and all the other men afflicted with Miasma poisoning becomes one of his main goals.
  • From Nobody to Nightmare: He began as a weak and meek boy from a lesser noble house, to a powerful lord and king with ambitions to overthrow the Empire. After he defeats Arges, the Emperor himself takes notice and orders his army to begin planning an invasion of the Fafnir successor states before Arc can grow any stronger.
  • Harem-Powered: The more women he gives his blood to, the more powerful he becomes and the power boost they get also increases.
  • Hero's Slave Harem: Reconstruction, The core conceit of the power of Macht is that any woman who partakes of Arc's blood becomes unable to live without periodically consuming his bodily fluids, and in exchange gets a significant boost in fighting or magical power. He usually warns them of what will happen and gets their consent beforehand, but he's not above doing it by deception (usually by Tampering with Food and Drink) if he thinks the ends justify the means.
  • He Who Fights Monsters: Macht is very much a case of Cursed with Awesome: the power is difficult to manage and requires him to magically bind as many women as possible to himself. It's the best weapon he has against the Empire, which he's determined to defeat for good reason. However, especially after the events of the summit in Isteshia, he starts to worry about what it's doing to his basic humanity, since he's becoming more and more agreeable with the idea of enslaving unwilling women if it serves his goals.
  • I Let Gwen Stacy Die: He blames himself for letting his cousin Aurelia die because of him trying to kill the crown prince, her fiancée, who enchanted Aurelia for use as a Human Shield against magical attacks.
  • It's Personal with the Dragon: He seeks revenge against the crown prince for using Aurelia as a human shield.
  • Kissing Cousins: His first love is his second cousin Aurelia. He would later seduce and marry his other second cousin Kaimeia.
  • The Immune: Being immune to miasma poisoning is another perk of the Macht.
  • Missing Mom: His mother is a big question mark. She was the niece of Arges Isteshia who was wed to Arc's father Anoll for political reasons, but her status in the present day is unknown.
  • Nice Guy: He's always been a pretty nice guy, which is why so many in his household are so loyal to him. Even after taking a level in jerkass due to the Macht and his own experiences, he's still a pretty nice person overall, and he doesn't like the person he's gradually turning into very much.
  • Tampering with Food and Drink: He's not above putting some of his blood in drinks in order to put certain women under his control, although he usually prefers to be direct and have their express consent. Also, both times he does it to an unwilling woman, it backfires on him horribly.
  • You Are in Command Now: Arc takes his father's title as Count Nargala after the latter becomes bedridden from consuming imported fruit from Gorche tainted with miasma.
  • You Are Worth Hell: Says so about himself to his great-uncle Arges right after he fatally injures him, admitting killing his uncle and being indirectly responsible for Aurelia's apparent death are worth going to hell, and that he should wait for him there.
  • Victory Sex: After winning the Reptile war Arc engages in an orgy with his harem.

    Lati
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/worlds_end_harem_fantasia_01.jpg
A mysterious Dark Elf sorceress that offers Arc the powers of the Macht.
  • Casting a Shadow: She can control shadows and use them to become intangible and pass through walls.
  • Enemy Mine: After the Reptile War, she finally explains to Arc that her goal is nothing less than the destruction of the Empire for its crimes against her people. This made Arc a natural choice as an ally given his grudge against the Empire for taking Aurelia from him, not to mention the Fafnir successor states' fear of Imperial conquest.
  • Enigmatic Minion: Her exact reasons for giving Arc the power of Macht are unknown, and her presence concerns and dismays Arc's other allies. She has a compatriot that has appeared in one chapter and indicates the two are working towards a larger goal. After he wins the Reptile War, she finally comes clean that she and others are conspiring to bring down the Empire.
  • Overly Long Name: Her full name is Latiforiazhard, which is why she prefers to be called Lati.
  • Pointy Ears: Her ears are noticeably longer and pointier than those of other elves.
  • Shameless Fanservice Girl: Her standard outfit consists of little more than a slingshot bikini and a loincloth, and she removes even this when she first appears to Arc to entice him.
  • Sex Magic: She is an expert at this. She set up the ritual to grant Arc the power of Macht, which involved ritually taking his virginity within a magic circle in order to hatch a dragon egg, and afterwards she routinely has sex with him in various ways to adjust his power levels.
  • Stripperiffic: She doesn't wear much, which makes it really easy to take them off to have sex with Arc.
  • Voluntary Vassal: She's the one member of Arc's harem who is free to leave at any time, because she's never consumed his blood. She stays with him because their goals align.

    Celine
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/worlds_end_harem_fantasia_02.png
An armswoman in the service of House Nargala, who aspires to become a knight.
  • Courtly Love: She's harbored a crush on Arc since they were children but knows the heir to the county and his retainer could never be together, and leaves his household after the incident with his uncle to become an adventurer for several chapters, linking up with Joanna, before returning to his service in chapter 21. Ends in a Relationship Upgrade when she admits her feelings and drinks his blood.
  • Elemental Hair Colors: She has red hair and Joanna discovers she has a strong fire affinity.
  • Empowered Badass Normal: After drinking Arc's blood, her physical strength is vastly increased and she gains the ability to temporarily wreath her sword in flames.
  • Immune to Fire: Arc gives her a rare magical armor that can absorb heat and fire, making her immune to the flames.
  • Lady of War: Beautiful, elegant and deadly with the blade, even before she drinks Arc's blood.
  • Ms. Fanservice: While she wears more practical clothes out and about, she frequently goes about the castle wearing sheer skirts and shirts just short of being a Walking Swimsuit Scene. This is much to the frustration of Arc during the year he has to spend celibate before Lati's ritual.
  • Subordinate Excuse: The main reason she doesn't act on her feelings for Arc at first is due to this, feeling she should only be his knight. Accepting Arc's blood also comes with accepting her feelings for him.
  • Sword and Sorcerer: She was the swordswoman to Joanna's sorcerer when they adventured together.
  • Tomboyish Ponytail: She wears her hair like this and she's a dedicated and somewhat tomboyish lady knight.

    Wenna
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/worlds_end_harem_fantasia_03.jpg
The personal maid of House Nargala who has held a candle for Arc for a very long time.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: She has honey blonde hair and is an incredibly nice and devoted person.
  • Hemo Erotic: She had a blood fetish long before Arc gained the power of Macht: when Arc was injured while training, she would secretly steal the cloths used to clean his injuries and suck on his blood. This made her an easy target for Arc to turn her into one of his Battle Haremettes.
  • Honorable Marriage Proposal: Defied: Arc wants to marry her after she becomes pregnant, but Tia reminds him that his hand in marriage is a valuable diplomatic tool, so Wenna is relegated to being one of his mistresses.
  • Interclass Romance: She's a simple commoner maid who's in love with her lord.
  • The Mistress: After she finds herself pregnant with Arc's child, he decides to make her his non-official mistress since he knows his hand in marriage is still valuable, even if he wishes he could officially marry her.
  • Mystical Pregnancy: Arc suffers a Phlebotinum Overload shortly after the business with his uncle is resolved and rapes Wenna while Not Himself, impregnating her. When he questions Lati, she informs him that if he has vaginal sex with any woman he's infused with Macht, she's almost guaranteed to become pregnant as a result.
  • "Not If They Enjoyed It" Rationalization: She enjoyed Arc's body and warmth inside her after he was Not Himself. To Arc's credit, he's still ashamed of himself despite the reassurance.
  • Superhuman Transfusion: Infused with Arc's blood, she goes from a maid with no combat skills to being capable of actually matching Celine and holding her own against monsters.

    Tia
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/worlds_end_harem_fantasia_05.jpg
The loyal secretary of Arc.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: She became completely loyal to Arc when they were children after he picked her up from the streets and allowed her to have a better life.
  • Girl Friday: Not only she's Arc's loyal secretary, she keeps tabs on things even Arc can't deal with.
  • The Mole: She was Arc's mole against his Evil Uncle Tute, keeping tabs on him, his plans to usurp him and which nobles would follow him, only to betray him and reaffirm her allegiance to Arc.
  • My Biological Clock Is Ticking: Implied, in chapter 46 she wants to bear one of Arc's illegitimate children.
  • Sexy Secretary: She's Arc's personal secretary and no one can deny she's not a hottie.
  • Undying Loyalty: For Arc, ever since they were children, and she willingly and eagerly drinks Arc's blood to become permanently loyal to him.

    Minne
A former bandit captured by Lati and infused with Arc's Macht, she becomes his retainer, spy and assassin.
  • Expy: Her hairstyle, hair color and demeanor brings to mind Akane Ryuuzouji from the main World's End Harem.
  • Shameless Fanservice Girl: Doesn't mind wearing very revealing clothing in front of Arc.
  • Smoking Is Cool: In her free time she's usually seen smoking a classy pipe.
  • Stripperiffic: She seems to dress in more revealing clothes.

    Joanna
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/weh_f_joanna.jpg
A prodigal child mage who first adventures with Celine before entering Arc's service.
  • Bratty Half-Pint: She's on the short side and she can get rather bratty.
  • Elemental Hair Colors: Her specialty is water magic and she has dark blue hair.
  • Idiot Hair: She has a prominent cowlick and she has several silly moments.
  • Superhuman Transfusion: Invoked, she had to drink some of Arc's blood to gain a power boost to break Miu's barrier.
  • Sword and Sorcerer: She was the sorcerer to Celine's sword when they adventured together. She later becomes the sorcerer to Arc's swordsman.
  • Token Wholesome: Due to her age, she's the only member of Arc's harem whom he hasn't had sex with yet.
  • Virgin-Shaming: It's self-inflicted in her case. She remains celibate to maintain Virgin Power but is still irritated by the prospect, which is shown when she repeatedly introduces herself as "Magical Virgin Joanna" instead of her intended intro of "Magical Girl Joanna". Discarded after she drinks Arc's blood and joins his harem.

    Felaris
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/worlds_end_harem_fantasia_06.jpg
A high elf from the Minyal Tribe in the elven forest, who first meets Arc while looking for his aid in dealing with a dangerous Salamander.
  • Blow You Away: She specializes in wind magic.
  • Fantasy Contraception: In volume 6, Felaris eats some nuts that she says will prevent pregnancy, and then insists that Arc finish inside her. It's implied she starts supplying him with similar contraceptives: he offers "moon fruit" to Celine before infusing her with Macht and taking her virginity.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: She's haughty and distrustful of humans at first, but she's actually a nice person who really cares about her village and later Arc.
  • Mayfly–December Friendship: The reason for her initial Fantastic Racism towards humans has a Freudian Excuse: as a child she befriended Arc's paternal grandfather when he visited the village, and then went to visit him in Nargala as an adolescent only to learn that he had died of old age several months earlier.
  • Mayfly–December Romance: As a Long-Lived elf, she will undoubtedly outlive her lover Arc by centuries, barring some further unmentioned feature of his Macht.
  • Noble Bigot: She's quite vain and prejudiced against both humans and dark elves, but is still a heroic figure. Her dislike for Lati as a dark elf is simple tribalism and is mostly glossed over, while her dismissiveness of humans has a Freudian Excuse: she befriended Arc's grandfather as a young girl, then came to Nargala to visit him as an adolescent only to discover to her shock that he had died of old age months earlier, so she came to view humans as inferior as a coping mechanism.
  • Overly Long Name: Just like Lati, her full name is rather long. Everyone agrees N'Felaris Cularis Dendronia Pomtoox is quite the mouthful, so she agrees everyone just call her Felaris.
  • Proud Beauty: She's a beautiful elven woman and she knows it. Other characters can appeal to her vanity to get on her good side.

    Beast-Girl
A beast-person that Lati infuses with Arc's blood. Eventually she grows to be loyal to Arc, even if no one knows her actual name.

    Anoll Nargala
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lord_nargala.jpg
The previous head of House Nargala and the father of Arc, who falls sick to a mysterious illness.
  • Human Popsicle: Arc buys time to cure him by having Joanna freeze him in ice.
  • Meaningful Name: Though his given name is rendered as "Anoll" in the official translation, it may be meant to be "Anole", which in keeping with the reptile themes of the four counties is a kind of lizard.
  • Parents as People: While he genuinely cares about his son, his attempt at trying to make him get over Aurelia's engagement to another man (namely, encouraging Wenna to try to seduce him) goes really wrong.
  • Perfectly Arranged Marriage: His father arranged for him to marry Arc's mother, and everything indicates they were happy together.

Retta's Party

A new set of protagonists who enter the story in volume 10, following Arc's victory in the Reptile War.
    In General
  • Foil: Retta's party contrasts the group of Arc in many ways.
    • The most contrasting ones are Arc and Retta:
      • Arc is a swordsman and noble, but Retta is a commoner and a mage.
      • Arc hates the empire for taking away the woman he loves. Retta hates the empire for killing his father.
      • Retta starts off a pervert like his father, having to only trade his eye to Olga for his power. Arc had to engage in abstinence for a year until he could get his.
      • Arc is set up like a character found in fantasy series of political intrigue such as A Song of Ice and Fire and Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Retta is more of an adventurer hero found in classical fantasy JRPG settings like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest.
      • Arc would at times deceive women into drinking his blood without consent, Retta would never use his powers unless they want to.
    • Lati is a dark elf, very sensual but also quite patient. Meanwhile, Olga is a devil, has a more youthful appearance, and is far less patient.
    • Celine is a knight specialized with swords, trained at the service of Arc. Peasley is a guard who is only friends with Letta at the start of their journey, wielding a halberd for her weapon. Celine also broke off from Arc for a time while Peasley gets closer to Letta during their adventures.
    • While both Joanna and Gloria haven't had sex with their respective protagonists yet, the former is a Child Prodigy mage specialized in water magic, while the latter is a spymaster who prefers a large variety of spells.
    • Cassia and Deila are Princesses of their home countries affected by the Empire and have become leaders of an Amazon Brigade. While Cassia is merely suspicious of men not suffering from the miasma, caring about those kept in stasis, Deila Does Not Like Men in general.
    • While Felaris is an elf from a hidden village who fights with magic, Shaomei is a human monk from the Far East who fights only with her fists.

    Retta

A young adventurer with heterochromatic eyes. After his father was tortured to death for being a (true) suspect member of the resistance, he is given the power to use Macht by a demon Olga. This puts him at odds with Arc despite also being pursued by the Empire.

  • And Now for Someone Completely Different: Not unlike Riku to Reito in the original series, Retta temporarily replaces Arc as the main protagonist.
  • Chivalrous Pervert: While he enjoys peeping on girls and is very eager to have sex, he doesn't use his Macht powers unless they want to and is a pretty nice person most of the time.
  • Deal with the Devil: To obtain great magical power, he cuts out his right eye and feeds it to Olga to receive his new Magical Eye.
  • Disability Superpower: Retta’s vision deteriorates in his left eye as a result of the dormant power sleeping within him.
  • Eye Scream: Has to gouge out his right eye and feed it to Olga to obtain his Magical Eye from her.
  • Hero with Bad Publicity: Due to him having a bounty on head that even adventurer guilds want.
  • Jumped at the Call: Olga gives him a week to consider the idea of power. Retta’s response? He gouges his eye before she could leave him to contemplate and demands her to give him the power right away.
  • Magical Eye: Possesses one due to Olga awakening his power. It works as a Living Aphrodisiac and the girl also gains a power boost similar to those given Arc's blood.
  • A Man Is Always Eager: If the girl he has used his powers with agrees to have sex with him, he will do it.
  • To Be a Master: He wishes to become a great mage, hence why he makes a Deal with the Devil.
  • You Killed My Father: Wants to avenge his father, who was executed by the Empire for opposing their expansive policies.

    Olga
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/a48e587e_f3cc_4c16_9d15_0875d38f9cfd.jpg

A demon girl who gives Retta the ability to use Macht. She is at odds with Lati and pits the young adventurer against Arc.

  • Cute Little Fangs: She has a pair of sharp fang-like teeth and fit her image as a devil.
  • Deal with the Devil: Fitting for her devil appearance, she grants incredible magical power in exchange for feeding her an eyeball.
  • Hard Work Hardly Works: Invokes this trope mainly due to her impatience. She does not think highly of how Lati gave Arc a year to prepare to become a vessel, so she insists she can do the same in two months. She is proven quite right when Retta presses on and finishes in a week after his Deal with the Devil.
  • Horned Humanoid: As a devil she has a pair of horns on the sides of her head.
  • Overly Long Name: Her true name is Olgasmisonia but goes by the name Olga for short.
  • Significant Green-Eyed Redhead: Inverted. She's a significant red-eyed greenhead and the one who brings Retta into the Macht conflict.
  • Stripperiffic: Just like Lati, she doesn't wear much clothes, making it easier to take them off and have sex.

    Peasley
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/91qe0bjqbzl.jpg

A security officer from the City of Flowers. She has excellent skill with her halberd.

  • Heroic Bystander: Despite the Free Cities being a client state, she sticks up for citizens abused by the Empire.
  • Pervert Revenge Mode: Once went into this where Retta and his father peeked in her bedroom. That is until Retta got his power.
  • Weapon Specialization: Her signature halberd, which she can wield without effort.

    Gloria
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/91vx8vhla0l.jpg

A twin-tailed magician who meets Retta at the guild. She joins him when the Madalis Empire pursues him and Peasley relentlessly. She has a preference for those with strong magical power and turned down a lot of marriage proposals otherwise.

  • Has a Type: She turned down so many marriage proposals and is ultimately attracted to Retta because she prefers powerful mages.
  • Red Baron: Known as the White Mole among those resisting Madalis.

    Deila
The Princess of a kingdom that was destroyed by the Madalis Empire. Recommended by Lati, and later joining Retta, she holds pride in her lineage and skill in the spear. She forms a resistance group not only composed of women but shows a great hatred for men.

    Shaomei
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/worlds_end_harem_fantasia_13.jpg

A monk from the eastern kingdoms. She was recommended by Lati to Arc for her special fist style that can smash through rock. She joins Retta’s party after being defeated by Peasley in a tournament and becoming interested in the strength his members possessed.

  • Amazonian Beauty: She is very ripped as a result of her training.
  • Anime Chinese Girl: She comes from the Far East, wears a qipao in her introduction and has her hair in odangos, so she fits very well.
  • Bare-Fisted Monk: As expected from someone from the eastern continent, she fights only with her fists.
  • Best Her to Bed Her: She gets defeated by Peasley in a long and tough fight, later getting in with Retta to obtain his power.

    Rin
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/worlds_end_harem_fantasia_14.jpg

A swordsman who participated in a tournament along with Peasley and Shaomei. He is later revealed to be a woman disguised as a male when Retta rescues a number of women from the Empire, joining his party afterward.

House Isteshia

    Arges Isteshia
The stern head of House Isteshia and Arc's maternal great uncle.
  • Altar Diplomacy: He knows very well that marriage alliances can be used for diplomacy. That's the reason why he married his granddaughter Aurelia to the Empire's Crown Prince: to keep the Empire from invading the Fafnir successor states. He also did it several years prior when he married his niece to the son of his rival, who would become Arc's parents.
  • Decapitated Army: Arc killing him all but crushes the Isteshian army's will to fight, making Arc the new ruler of all four counties.
  • Disc-One Final Boss: He serves as Arc's main antagonist for most of part 1, and his death marks Arc's rise as the new monarch of a reunited Kingdom of Fafnir.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: He might be a cranky old reptile, but he genuinely cares about his grandchildren.
  • The Patriarch: An Old Soldier of approximately 60, he's respected as the de facto head of the four families of the former Kingdom of Fafnir through his military might and political acumen.
  • Red Baron: He's known as 'Big Jaw' Arges.
  • The Rival: He used to be the rival of Arc's paternal grandfather Novarus.
  • Spotting the Thread: It's strongly indicated he suspects Arc of the magical Assassination Attempt against Prince Deutius, which coupled with Arc baying for war with the Madalis Empire, leads to him ordering his army to ambush Arc when he returns home from the summit. This triggers the Reptile War.

    Aurelia Isteshia
Arc's second cousin and first love, whose unwanted betrothal to the empire's Crown Prince sets Arc's path with the Macht.
  • Arranged Marriage: Her grandfather arranging for her to marry the Crown Prince despite her wishes is what triggers the plot of the series.
  • Awful Wedded Life: Her new husband doesn't even care about her and uses her for his magical experiments to guarantee her fidelity.
  • Collateral Angst: She ends up suffering the backlash of Arc's curse while trying to kill Deutias, which horrifies and nearly breaks Arc when he realizes he killed the woman he loves.
  • Damsel in Distress: She's forced into a political marriage with a man who despises her, motivating Arc's Myth Arc.
  • Only Mostly Dead: Implied. The spell Arc tries to use to assassinate Deutius is reflected onto her by the spell on her. Deutius claims she's dead, but pointedly refuses to let her relatives examine her body before teleporting away with it, and freezes her inside a crystal. She may only be a Human Popsicle.

    Gavial Isteshia
The heir of House Isteshia, Aurelia's younger brother and Arc's rival.
  • Arrogant Kung-Fu Guy: He clearly likes rubbing his skill with the sword to his cousin Arc.
  • Clashing Cousins: He and Arc don't get along, and circumstances drive to make them enemies.
  • It's Personal: He wants vengeance against Arc for the deaths of Aurelia and his grandfather Arges.
  • You Killed My Father: He blames Arc for causing the deaths of his sister and grandfather.

    Kaimeia Crodel
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/worlds_end_harem_fantasia_07.jpg
A hotheaded member of House Isteshia. Granddaughter of Arges, she's the cousin of Aurelia and Gavial and second cousin of Arc.
  • Big Eater: True to her crocodile motif, Kaimeia is known for her voracious appetite and Scary Teeth.
  • Blood Knight: She's pretty eager to fight and kill anyone who upsets her.
  • Fiery Redhead: She has flame like hair and quite the temper.
  • Red Baron: Bizarre Eater, due to her Blood Knight tendencies and appetite.
  • Sex–Face Turn: Arc subtly influences her with his blood, and later seduces and bangs her, bringing her to his side with the intention of making her his queen.

    Niles
Known as The Elegant, he's the Chief Knight of the house Isteshia.
  • Character Tics: Adjusting his glasses by the bridge, usually with a snobby or arrogant expression.
  • The Dragon: For Arges, being the commander of his knights and main supporter.
  • Four Eyes, Zero Soul: He wears glasses and is an arrogant and dismissive asshole.
  • This Cannot Be!: He can't believe Celine would be able to match and even surpass him right before she kills him.

House Garsul

    Gidu Garsul
The current head of House Garsul. Known as The Dullard for his tendency of speaking and moving very slowly.

    Miu Garsul
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/worlds_end_harem_fantasia_09.jpg
The daughter of Gibu Garsul and a prodigy of barrier magic.
  • Barrier Warrior: She's very skilled at creating magical barriers.
  • Daddy's Girl: It's well known that her father adores her.
  • Prone to Tears: Known as the Crybaby, her huge, near-permanent Puppy-Dog Eyes means she's always crying for whatever reason, like feeling sad or just having something in her eye.

House Enshu

    Boa Enshu
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/worlds_end_harem_fantasia_08.jpg
Known as the Deadly Venom, she's the widowed acting head of house Enshu.
  • The Beastmaster: Besides her pet Feather Boa Constrictor, she also controls a huge serpent creature.
  • Black Widow: She's rumored to have poisoned her late husband, the former Count Enshu, though she insists she's innocent. She's not: in fact she has a compulsion to murder any man she falls in love with—which causes Arc's attempt to force her into his camp with wine infused with his blood to backfire horribly.
  • Cavalry Betrayal: She betrays Arc and attacks his forces due to her deranged desire to kill any man she falls in love with.
  • Commissar Cap: She wears one while leading her forces into war.
  • Depraved Bisexual: She's pretty unstable to whoever she likes, be they male or female, as Kaimeia finds out.
  • Overly-Long Tongue: She has an oddly long and bifid tongue to go with her snake motif. It also doubles as Maniac Tongue.
  • Put on a Prison Bus: Arc takes her prisoner following the Battle of Bucket Gorge and orders her locked away. Killing her out of hand would have unknown but probably negative effects on his Macht, besides which, she's probably carrying one of his illegitimate children.
  • Pregnant Hostage: Justified, chapter 46 reveals she's pregnant with one of Arc's children and locked in prison, but knowing how dangerous and unstable she is Arc had to invoke this to keep her a prisoner.
  • Red Baron: Deadly Venom.
  • Snakes Are Sexy: She's heavily associated with snakes, has a bifid tongue, and is Dressed Like a Dominatrix, so she fits.
  • Sssssnake Talk: In an unusual take for this trope, she tends to elongate the last letter of her sentencesss.

Grand Duchy of Gorche

    Cassia Vesky
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/worlds_end_harem_fantasia_04.jpg
The Commander of the White Tiger Knights of the Duchy of Gorche.
  • Big Damn Heroes: She, alongside Felaris, arrives just in time to save Arc from Boa, Kaimeia and Miu, allowing him to face and kill Arges.
  • Defrosting Ice Queen: Fittingly for a woman associated with snow, at first she was distrustful of Arc, but after he helps protect her people from monsters, she softens up and becomes his ally.
  • Elemental Hair Colors: Her hair is pale blue and she specializes in Ice magic.
  • Even the Girls Want Her: One of her subordinates sure does.
  • Red Baron: She's called the Blood Snow.

Madalis Empire

    The Emperor
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/weh_f_emperor.jpg
The mysterious and incredibly powerful ruler of the Madalis Empire.
  • Beard of Evil: Has a goatee and he rules over an expansionist and ruthless empire.
  • Bed Full of Women: Almost all of his scenes show him getting up from a bed full of concubines.
  • The Emperor: He's even only known by his title so far.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: Drives the main plot, even if he isn't directly involved for most of Part 1.
  • Hidden Depths: Despite usually only being shown as the beneficiary of a Bed Full of Women, the end of Act I shows he's no slouch as a ruler: when informed that Arc has slain Arges, he realizes immediately that something weird and probably dangerous to him is going on in the east, and orders his generals to begin drawing up plans to invade the Fafnir counties as soon as possible.

    Crown Prince Deutius
The Crown Prince of the Madalis Empire.
  • Arch-Enemy: He became Arc's archnemesis the moment he took Aurelia from him and later used her as a shield for an assassination attempt.
  • Creepy Blue Eyes: The colored pages show he has blue eyes and he's always cold and inexpressive.
  • Curtains Match the Windows: He has blue hair and eyes.
  • Facial Markings: He has some black marks underneath his eyes.
  • Mad Scientist: He clearly loves experimenting on women to satiate his curiosity and using deadly spells to keep them under his control.
  • The Nose Knows: Just from a brief meeting he can smell that Arc just recently had sex with elves.
  • Patricide: In chapter 80, he stabs his father in the back and later incinerates him.
  • The Starscream: He betrays and murders his father to become emperor.

    Four Generals

The main Generals leading the Empire’s conquest of the continent. Each is in charge of their personal elite corps.
