The Supernoobs

     In General
A group of inexperienced 11-12 year old preteens accidentally recruited to fight an intergalactic viral threat.

  • Jerks with Hearts of Gold: They're impulsive, immature and will often use their powers for their own personal gain. But they do their best to stop the virus and protect the Earth from being destroyed.
  • Space Cop: Although, they are still in training, they are virus warriors, mostly protecting the Earth from virus infestations although they do this job in space too.
  • Wake Up, Go to School & Save the World: Fighting virus-infected beasts or training to fight them has become a regular day to day occurrence to them, that it messed up their schedule multiple times.

    Tyler Bowman
Voiced by: Matt Hill

Click to see him in battle ball mode

The self proclaimed leader of the Noobs. Known for being the most responsible member of the group, he desires to lead the group and clean up any of the messes that are going on, even messes that he ends up creating. He carries the blue battle ball. His battle ball powers include teleportation, mind reading, and eventually mind control.

  • Big Damn Heroes: When Amy is cornered by a virus dragon, Tyler jumps right in to saver her.
  • Can't Spit It Out: When it comes to his crush, Amy Anderson.
  • Disappeared Dad: Tyler's dad is never seen or mentioned once in the show, which implies that his mom is either a single mother, divorced, or widowed.
  • The Heart: He serves as the team's moral compass and keeps them from doing something irrational.
  • The Leader: Tyler considers himself to be the de facto leader of the noobs and shows this through good leadership skills. He also considers himself to be the moral compass of the group.
  • Mind Control: He can practice this to an extent.
  • Only Sane Man: Can be this to other members of the team at times although Shope can take on this role as well.
  • Nervous Wreck: Whenever something goes wrong, Tyler is almost always the first one to panic.
  • Psychic Powers: The blue battle Ball grants him a few of these.
  • Real Men Wear Pink: Tyler is implied to be this as he is shown with a huge collection of stuffed animals in his basement, including a teddy bear which he lets Zenblock have.
  • Sudden Name Change: In the "Noob Vs. Venamus 12" episode, Tyler is referred to as Tyler Knight/Night instead of Tyler Bowman. It is unknown why this change in Tyler's last name happened, though it could have been an error in production
  • Super-Senses: His Blue Battle Ball is said to heighten the host's 9 senses.
  • Telepathy: He can read minds and sense the presences of others.
  • Teleporters and Transporters: One of Tyler's primary battle ball abilities.

    Jennifer Shope
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shope_normal_5.png
Click to see her in battle ball mode

The only female member of the Noobs and considers herself to be the most intelligent member of the group often providing technical support and informational support. She possesses the purple battle ball. Her powers include manipulation of the elements and the weather including lightning, tornadoes, and water.

  • Ambiguously Brown: She has brown skin, but her ethnicity remains unknown until we see her parents in "Who, What, Where and Noob". She has a black father and a Brazilian mother.
  • Berserk Button: Triceratops being mocked in any way. Also telling her that her only purpose is to clean messes the others leave will enrage her badly, as Kevin learned the hard way.
  • Black and Nerdy: She's half-black and the smartest of the Noobs.
  • Blow You Away: She can create huge gusts of winds that can push helicopters with ease.
  • Brainy Brunette: She's The Smart Girl and has hair that's either very dark brown or black.
  • Elemental Powers: Her Purple Battle Ball lets her control the surrounding natural forces.
  • Energy Absorption: One of her powers. Some examples include absorbing laser blasts and redirecting them back, and one time she accidentally takes the space ship Galacticus' cloaking ability.
  • Fatal Flaw: Pride. Being the self-proclaimed smartest of the noobs and having a variety of powers, Shope sees herself as above the others even though she isn't. This often leads to her arguing with the others or her pride being used against her.
  • Insufferable Genius: Shope is almost always right in any given situation and with such a huge amount of intelligence and wisdom comes a huge ego. Because of this, Shope's own pride and arrogance is her primary heroic flaw.
  • Intelligence Equals Isolation: "A Noob Hope" established that her intelligence intimidates most kids her age, hence why she only had three friends until she met Memnock and Zenblock.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Despite being an arrogant genius, Shope's heart is mostly in the right place as she tries her best to stop the virus and fight bad guys.
  • Large Ham: Despite being very smart and good at processing situations she does overreact sometimes. It's mostly seen when fighting the virus or when she gets frustrated with immature and incompetent behavior coming from either Kevin or Memnock and Zenblock.
  • Last-Name Basis: Her friends call her by her family name. Only her parents call her by her first name.
  • Logical Weakness: She manipulates the elements around her but she can't manipulate them if there is none around. She often gets this problem with water. Strangely, she's never had this problem when it comes to electricity.
  • Magnetism Manipulation: Her least used power. Often just buries her under mettalic objects once used.
  • Nerdy Nasalness: She's an archetypical nerd with a high-pitched, adenoidal voice.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Her science project for the science fair made it possible for non-living objects to be infected with the virus, which causes damage to the school and destroys everyone else's projects except Roach's. Luckily she was able to fix her project's destructive tendencies.
  • One of the Boys: Despite her complaints about the boys and their antics, she almost always joins in their activities and mischief, sometimes even leading the charge.
  • Playing with Fire: She can call upon a ball of flame directly from the sun itself.
  • Purple Is Powerful: Has purple hair in battle mode and wears a purple sweater too.
  • {{Shock and Awe}: Her most used power and the one she mastered the most. She often just attacks her foes with lightning from afar.
  • The Smart Girl: Is the most intelligent person in the team but not the most rational. Frequently shares this position with Tyler.
  • Smart People Wear Glasses: She's The Smart Girl of the cast of main characters and wears red-framed glasses.
  • The Smurfette Principle: The only girl on the team. She actually lampshades this in "The Noobs Meet Count Venamus," talking to a quartet of female Virus Warriors about how the others often focus on male-orientated topics like video games.
  • Tomboy: Shope is clearly one as she is a girl but loves science, football, video games including shooters, and sci-fi movies. She also refused Memnock's joke offer to put a tiara on her costume and battlesuit despite being a girl.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: Shope is One of the Boys and has more conventionally masculine interests than Amy Anderson.
  • Tomboy with a Girly Streak: She's definitely a Tomboy, but she regularly wears a headband and a pair of tights/leggings that are colored pink. Her regular outfit also includes a skirt.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: Shope in "How To Care For Your Noob" forces Kevin into a gerbil when she and Tyler lose theirs in a science project. She forces Kevin to do humiliating things in gerbil form so she would get an A on her project. Unfortunately, she and Tyler get an F in the end despite Tyler successfully capturing the original gerbil. She started out as an all right smart girl but she develops into being overly prideful and selfish ever since she received her battle ball. Its implied that becoming a virus warrior has caused Shope's own pride to swell up.
  • Twofer Token Minority: Not only is she the only girl, she's also the only visibly non-white member of the Noobs.

    Kevin Reynolds
Voiced by: Richard Ian Cox

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kevin_normal.png
Click to see him in battle ball mode

The troublemaker, known for being the most selfish and least intelligent member of the group. Often abuses his battle ball for his own amusement and personal gain, making poor decisions that get the group into trouble. He carries the red battle ball. His powers include self transfiguration into animals and objects and he can combine multiple animal parts together to make unique combinations that he can transform into. His battle ball also allows him to talk to animals as well.

  • Aesop Amnesia: Kevin does learn lessons about responsibility and altruism in several episodes but he seems to have a hard time remembering them.
  • Ambiguously Bi: Kevin is most likely bi as he seemingly had a crush on the Incredibly Amazing Man while stating that he was his #1 fan and went as far as making a marriage like proposal to be his sidekick but this apparent crush seems to be a bit like hero worship. What puts him in this territory instead of Ambiguously Gay is his hesitance in hitting girls and his implied crush on Shope as while under the influence of Mr. Wertz's mind control goggles, he stated that he wanted to marry Shope someday.
  • Ambiguously Brown: Not to the same extent as Shope, but he's much more tan than Tyler and Roach and has curly black hair.
  • Ascended Fanboy: Kevin briefly became this after succeeding in becoming The Incredibly Amazing Man's sidekick although Kevin's role in this was restricted to just helping the Incredibly Amazing Man sell merchandise to other people.
  • Batman Gambit: In a shockingly smart move, Kevin won the Warrior of the Month award by helping the other noobs record their efforts while silently editing it. He gained no suspicion whatsoever and was able to cheat his way to victory.
  • The Lancer: Trades this role with Shope.
  • Braces of Orthodontic Overkill: He wears braces and he's the only member to wear them.
  • Butt-Monkey: Everyone takes their fair share of slapstick abuse, but Kevin in particular suffers the worst of it.
  • Captain Crash: When he's behind the wheel of anything, expect it to be driven like a bumper car. Shown when he tries to drive the Galacticus and in the end of the episode, frames Mem and Zen for traffic violations while inadvertently wrecking their ship to smithereens.
  • Catchphrase: "Battleballs In!"
  • Cloud Cuckoolander: He has his moments, like in "Noobies Vs Smoothies," where he talked about how nobody really needs underwear flaps.
  • Hypocrite: He tried to cancel Mem and Zen's planned TV show out of fear of keeping his and the noobs identities being revealed yet in "Eyewitness Noobs" Kevin was revealed to have not only been running the main website of the Noobs but has also been sending videos of himself and the noob to a tabloid magazine for money and he almost compromised the noob identities to the tabloid company by accident.
  • Idiot Houdini: Kevin has the tendency to make poor decisions and usually never has to answer to them. He once accidentally blew up the school gym with his battle ball but never got expelled or suspended from school for it. Other idiotic things he got away with were almost destroying Earth by accident and selling images of himself and the Noobs without their battlesuits to Marty Soulpatch.
    • Laser-Guided Karma: Season 2 finally addresses this with Kevin getting some much needed Karma backlash. cheating to get a type of 'employee of the month' lands him into fighting a super dangerous virus beast. Trying to use a preserve cyber-virus for some in-game fun, force to clean up the mess while the other get to train (Aka play go-karts.)
  • Invisible Parents: Kevin's parents have taken the longest amount of time to make an onscreen appearance. It's subverted later on, as his dad finally made an appearance in a later episode. His mom has not yet made an appearance on the show but she has been mentioned more than once.
  • It's All About Me: Kevin's main flaw is selfishness. He is seen is the most selfish out of all the Noobs and frequently abuses his own battle ball powers for personal gain. This flaw is what makes Memnock and Zenblock perceive the Noobs as just a bunch of bratty kids who only care about themselves. Kevin does try to overcome this flaw but he is obviously struggling.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Its obvious that Kevin still has a lot of growing up to do. He can be selfish and rude at times towards the other Noobs and other people, but he is committed to stopping the virus.
  • Large Ham: He overreacts a lot.
  • Mix-and-Match Critters: He can splice different animal parts to make new and unique creations that he can transform into.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Kevin once pressed a wrong button on Mem and Zen's ship by accident, which caused a meteor like drone to be sent out which had the capability of destroying planets including Earth. However Kevin was able to stop the drone at the last second.
  • Opportunistic Bastard: Kevin rarely comes up with a plan but when an opportunity presents itself that he's in favor, he will take it, even if it means cheating and manipulating his teammates.
  • Plot Allergy: Kevin is revealed to be allergic to shellfish at some point in the first season as he broke out in hives when fighting a virus infected crustacean.
  • Right Behind Me: Seems to be an expert at guessing when something's behind him.
  • Running Gag: Kevin frequently turns into a possum or some other rodent rather than the animal he actually wants.
  • Shapeshifter Mode Lock: If he stays in an animal form for longer than three hours without his battle ball, his DNA will be permanently altered, and he will be stuck in that form forever. This has happened to him once when he transformed into a bulldog but he managed to change back before the three hour mark was up.
  • Ship Tease: With Shope, as he blurts out under mind control that he wants to marry her.
  • Spoiled Brat: Kevin is seen as the most selfish member of the team as he frequently abuses his battle ball powers for personal gain such as money and fame. He even demands things from Mem and Zen as well.
  • Suddenly Shouting: Whenever he overreacts or something gets on his nerves.
  • Superpowered Evil Side: The Red Battle Ball carries the risk of malfunctioning and turning the user evil; Kevin's evil alter ego is named Invicticus.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: The Red Battle Ball's power.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes??: Is deathly afraid of spiders.

    Theodore "The Roach" Roachmont
Voiced by: Lee Tockar

The most laid back and gullible member of the group who is well known for the hair that covers his eyes. He is the team's main muscle and defense. He possesses the green battle ball. His powers include super strength and body manipulation.

  • Absurd Phobia: Roach is revealed to be afraid of ketchup and mustard in “Spooker Noobs”.
  • The Big Guy: Is one of the main muscles of the team. Both the noobs and Count Venamus acknowledges this, calling him the "Big Toe" that supports their metaphorical foot.
  • Casanova Wannabe: Roach’s repeated attempts to flirt with older women always ends in failure with the women ignoring him.
  • Cloud Cuckoolander: Not as bad as Kevin, but it's there.
  • Dub Name Change: He is called Cafard (Cockroach) in the French dub.
  • Eyes Out of Sight: His eyes are completely concealed by his hair.
  • Flying Brick: His Green Battle Ball gives him Flight, Super-Strength and change the size of his fist.
  • Gonk: When compared to everyone else.
  • Hammerspace Hair: He and his friends often keep stuff in his hair, like their Battle Balls.
  • Hidden Depths: "How to Care For Your Noob" shows that he has a talent for wood carving, creating a sculpture of a rabbit in no time flat.
  • Kid-Appeal Character: His unique hairstyle and easy going personality is an attractor factor for kids.
  • Likes Older Women: He has had crushes on his drama teacher and an alien princess, as well as XR4Ti, who has the voice of an adult woman. Count Venamus uses this trope against him at one point in order to kidnap him.
  • Nice Guy: Easily the nicest and most easy-going of the group.
  • Prehensile Hair: Roach's hair is capable of storing things including battle balls. He temporarily gets the power manipulate his hair into two large fists after drinking a substance containing a form of the virus that was modified by Mr. Wertz.
  • Running Gag: Him always predicting what would happen, exactly before it happened.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: Zigzagged. While he looks NOTHING like his parents (Something the other noobs noted) he does bear a striking resemblance to his grandmother.
  • Superpowered Evil Side: The Green Battle Ball carries the risk of malfunctioning and turning the user evil; Roach's evil alter ego is named Destroyon.
  • Super-Speed: Another power of the Green Battle Ball.
  • Youthful Freckles: He's the youngest of the team and the only one with freckles.

Other Earth Warriors

    Memnock and Zenblock
Voiced by: Bill Mondy (Memnock) Michael Adamthwaite (Zenblock)

They are two alien warriors who were sent to earth to find warriors to aid the Benevolent Alliance in their war against the virus. However they screw up in their objective and mistake the Noobs for warriors and give them the battle balls. They try to correct their mistake but end up being forced to tutor them and live on Earth. However, both of them do care about the noobs and try to protect them from any harm whenever possible. Zenblock is a blue colored alien who is aggressive, gruff, and sarcastic as he is frequently annoyed by any irresponsible antics the Noobs and Memnock engage in. Memnock on the other hand is a foil to Zen as he is a yellowish-green colored alien who is eccentric, kind, soft spoken, sensitive, and caring to other people and the noobs. They can be very immature and childish at times mostly due to their lack of understanding of Earth culture, which they have a childlike fascination in. To top that all off, the duo are also very dysfunctional and show many signs of incompetence in their jobs. Not much is known about their backstories aside from being recruited by Chiquadotran when they were at a young age.

  • Absurd Phobia: Both of them are afraid of cave worms, which look cute.
  • Amusing Alien: A lot of the humor on the show that surrounds Mem and Zen focuses on their childlike fascination and ignorance of earth culture. They sometimes misunderstand the cultures of earth in various ways such as thinking that spelling bees are a species of bee that can spell words.
  • Berserk Button:
    • Memnock, despite being the nice one has triggers that make him mad or upset such as being compared to a bug. Also whenever one of his scamp figurines from his collection gets broken or lost, Memnock gets upset to the point of tears.
    • Zenblock, despite having the tendency to lose his temper at the drop of a hat, but he can go very crazy if his sleep is rudely disrupted. He also gets very crazy if the galacticus toilet gets clogged.
  • The Big Guys: Both of them due to their large size in alien form. Zenblock is a class 1 form of this with elements of class 2. Memnock is definitely a class 2.
  • Brutal Honesty: The two are never shy on voicing the Noobs short comings. However, Zen did try to sugarcoat one of his criticisms once until Tyler told him not to.
  • Butt-Monkey: Like many of the characters on the show, Men and Zen have their fair share of being beaten up and dragged around like chew toys. They beat each other up occasionally,
  • By-the-Book Cop: Both of them as shown in "Count Noob-A-Nus" when they insist on treating any prisoners they arrest with fairness and kindness as stated in their Benevolent Alliance manual after they arrest Count Venamus and his minions. However, they do violate protocol to launch Venamus into space in a single pod when Venamus uses the manual to double-cross them.
  • Camp Straight: Memnock. He likes cooking and joked about putting tiaras on the Noobs, yet he and Zen were clearly shown flirting with a couple of girls in a coffee shop in " How To Use Your Noob" through attracting them with voice modulated helmets.
  • Character Development: They show the most development out of all the main characters. They were initially distrusting of the Noobs due to their experience but warm up to them over time.
  • Childhood Friends: Memnock and Zenblock are heavily implied to have known each other since they were kids in "Zooper Noobs" when they both mentioned loving to ride the monorail at the space zoo at a young age. The implication is reinforced through the reveal action that they were once Chiquadotran’s students.
  • The Chooser of the One: They're recruiters who bestow powers in the form of Battleballs to the native warriors of a planet to protect them from the Virus. On Earth, however, they mistook four children for soldiers and accidentally tasked them with the mission to protect Earth from the Virus. Neither party is satisfied with the outcome.
  • Cool Helmet: Memnock and Zenblock are never seen on the show without their helmets on (Bob and Rob forms don't count).
  • Cute Little Fangs: Memnock's mouth is full of cute little fangs!
  • Cuteness Proximity: Mem and Zen just cannot resist the cuteness of adorable puppies whether they are real or plush. Also they really seemed attracted to the cuteness of the female Candy Mama characters.
  • Cynical Mentor: Mem and Zen are mostly just recruiters sent to find champions on planets to defend them from the virus, after which they move on. They're both Good Is Not Nice in this regard and are rather bitter at being forced by their bosses to effectively babysit and mentor the noobs after their blundered recruitment of them. However both do warm up to the noobs over time and Memnock can zigzag between cynic and eccentric.
  • Dumb Muscle: Both of them but Zenblock even more so than Memnock. According to his online bio on the teletoon website, Zenblock is described as not the smartest bulb in the bunch.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Zenblock has this kind of temper as the slightest annoyance or disruption in his fun time can make him explode in an angry rage.
  • Heavy Sleeper: Both of them as they were revealed to have their own share of sleeping problems.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: Mem and Zen as they do give each other a hard times but they always have each others backs. They have been friends and partners at least since being recruited by Chiquadotran.
  • Hypocritical Humor: In "How To Use Your Noob" they tell the Noobs that they shouldn't use their battle balls to use as toys such as mechanical puppies or helmets that "make you sound really cool". The next scene shows Memnock and Zenblock manipulating their battle balls into such cool sounding helmets to try to attract ladies.
  • Idiot Houdini: It's clear that Memnock and Zenblock, despite being virus-hunting warriors, are not very bright in the decisions they make; this includes mistaking a group of ordinary 12-year-olds with paintball gear for soldiers, mistaking a science fair for a food convention and subsequently ruining a kid's science project, and going trick-or-treating using their own weapons to scare people into giving them items like television sets and bikes. All of these actions result from their own idiocy and ignorance, yet they are never held accountable for any of them.
  • Ironic Nickname: "Zen" is the term for a Buddhist discipline which focuses on being calm and in control of your emotions, which Zenblock clearly isn't.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Zen sometimes teases and makes fun of the Super Noobs' inexperience but when it looks like they're in over their heads with the current infected monster, he'll jump in and save the kids. He also likes to tease Memnock around but he does show empathy to Mem whenever he gets upset.
    • "Tyrannosaurus Noob" really drives this point home, with Zen admitting that he really is nice deep down (although he does not like admitting it).
  • Kid-Appeal Character: Memnock and Zenblock's alien appearances and likeable and hilarious personalities are attraction factors for kids to watch the show as without them, the whole show would have been boring.
  • Large Ham: The both overreact a lot and its most easily seen during their childish escapades.
  • Like an Old Married Couple: Mem and Zen have the tendency to get into such spats but are still best loyal buds.
  • Manchild: Both Memnock and Zenblock are shown to be this, partially due to not understanding Earth culture. They often fight and behave immaturely. So far their childishness involved riding a kids monorail ride, going trick or treating, getting stuffed puppies in a build a bear workshop knockoff store, and in Zenblock's case, sleeping with a teddy bear in his arms. Their bickering with each other is also very childish.
  • Mysterious Past: There is not much known about Memnock and Zenblock’s backstories aside from them being recruited and trained by Chiquadotran.
  • One of the Kids: Memnock and Zenblock are very immature and hang out with the Noobs a lot, which often causes them to reach lower levels of immaturity. Justified as the Benevolent Alliance assigned them to train the Noobs and they often have to rely on the Noobs to help them understand Earth.
  • Police Are Useless: Downplayed in Memnock and Zenblock's case. They are both technically space cops who fight an alien pathogen but they sometimes don't do their jobs like they are supposed to. They are sometimes seen goofing off while the Noobs are either tracking down or fighting the virus but they do show that they are competent when the plot demands it.
  • Real Men Wear Pink: Both Mem and Zen show this trope to various degrees.
    • Zenblock is the manliest guy of the duo and is reluctant to explore aspects of earth that look feminine but has no problem with knitting as a hobby and even uses pink yarn for it.
    • Memnock is seen having some manly elements too due to his physical composition but he likes cooking a lot and more embracing on Earth cultures.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni Zenblock is the red to Memblock's blue. Ironically Zen is colored blue, while Mem is green.
  • Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: Zen is the manly man to Mem's sensitive guy. Zen is seen as the more gruff and masculine of the duo while Mem serves as a passive foil to Zen as he is more sensitive and soft spoken of them.
  • Space Cops: Both Memnock and Zenblock because they are virus warriors and serve the Benevolent Alliance. Their spaceship has a section with prison pods where they detain any agents of the virus creators that they arrest. This is proven when they arrest Count Venamus and his minions in one episode.
  • Suddenly Shouting: Zenblock falls into this whenever he gets angry (which is often).
  • Sweet Tooth: Memnock and Zenblock both have a huge craving for candy. They love eating candy as they went trick or treating and they love doing anything candy related as they played Candy Mama and Mem opened an ice cream shop on his spaceship, which shows that he has a bigger sweet tooth as his eyes literally shined in happiness when he was eating candy. Zenblock easily fell for a trap that Venomous made which consisted of a rocket ship filled with candy. This also extends to baked goods as they gorged themselves on cakes and cookies that Roach bribed them with in “Noob Of The Month” to the point where they both get temporarily fat.
  • The Ahnold: Zenblock's voice is a parody of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
  • Rhyme Theme Naming: Memnock and Zenblock sounds enough, as do their human aliases, Rob and Bob.
  • Those Two Guys: Other than the fact that they are virus warriors, Memnock and Zenblock are pretty much an ordinary alien duo.
  • Took a Level in Dumbass: In the first half of season one they knew a lot about the virus and took the job of mentoring the Noobs all while using cutting edge technology and knowing scientific skills but in the second half, their IQ level was seemingly cut in half as they were shown making several idiotic moves such as screwing up with modifying a memory eraser and thinking that an attraction in a theme park was where all of Earth's political delegates met.
  • Top Heavy Guys: Memnock and Zenblock's body builds have their chest and arms bigger than the lower half of their body. Their bob and rob forms also play it straight too, especially shown with their arms being bigger than their legs. Its basically a trait that their species has.
  • Tsundere: Zenblock is a Type A non-romantic male version of this as far as the Noobs and Earth are concerned. He comes off as aggressive and serious to people but is ultimately shown to be a kind and caring person deep down.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: This clearly applies to them due to their arguments and fighting amongst each other but they are still great friends. Their friendship often has them playing competitive games against each other ranging from snowball fights to running for office for the position of mayor. Lampshaded by Tyler in episode 27 when describing that they can be competitive a lot.
  • "Well Done, Son" Guy: Implied with Memnock according to his Teletoon online bio. It was revealed that Memnock’s father, who is a legendary virus warrior, forced him to become a virus warrior and that Memnock didn’t initially envision himself in this position. This indicates that Memnock has some unspoken issues with his father

    XR4Ti
Voiced by: Rebecca Shoichet

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/xr_4ti.png

The female artificial intelligence for Memnock and Zenblock's space ship, the Galacticus. She is often seen as the voice of reason for the Noobs and Mem and Zen and is often irritated by their shenanigans. She knows a great deal of the galaxy and Roach has a crush on her. Even though she tries to guide the noobs and Mem and Zen, she does not have much power to move around and act on her own due to being an A.I.

The Benevolent Alliance

    The Elders
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/the_elders.png
'From left to right: Secretary Hedies, General Blorgon, Secretary Tecknut'

The great leaders of the Benevolent Alliance.

In General

  • Big Good: They are the highest members of the Benevolent Alliance and the ones leading the charge against the virus and its creators.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: The elders are willing to let the noobs keep the battleballs despite being terrible and are actually patient with them, but that being said, it should be noted that they will suck your brain out with a bendy straw if you lose your battleball during a inspection and they do not appreciate being questioned about their methods, so it's best not to test their patience.
  • Manchild: and Womanchild. The elders a more childish side to them when it comes to embracing Earth culture.
  • Rank Scales with Asskicking: Despite mostly being in the sidelines and managing things in the background, they are quite powerful warriors, as shown when they easily curbstomp a group of virus-infected knights without breaking a sweat.

General Blorgon

Voiced by: Scott McNeil

One of the leaders of the Benevolent Alliance and Memnock and Zenblock's superior officer and mentor. Blorgon is a very strict leader who expects the best out of all the virus warriors and often uses a lot of unorthodox and sometimes insane methods to discipline and test the virus warriors. He ordered Mem and Zen to tutor the Noobs to be experienced warriors and he desires to find the virus creators and bring them to justice. He leads the war against the virus and is often accompanied by secretaries Hedies and Tecknut.

Secretary Hedies

One of the leaders of the Benevolent Alliance.

Secretary Tecknut

Voiced by: Lee Tockar

One of the leaders of the Benevolent Alliance.

  • Extra Eyes: He has a Third Eye.
  • Killer Rabbit: He demonstrates his power by turning into a tiny caterpillar then immediately overpowering the Virus-Controlled Knights with catterpilar string.
Secretary Tecknut: When shapeshifting don't be afraid to go small, to pack a big punch!
  • ShapeShifting: He is revealed in "Noobs Of The Round Table" to be able to transform into things, such as a caterpillar that spits out a sticky string.

    Rovu

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rovu.png

A recruiter like Mem and Zen. He is a cocky and egotistical virus warrior, recruiter and rival who often brags about his success and likes to rub it in the faces of other people.

  • The Ace: He's won the Recruiter of the Year award seven times and it's clear that he's a highly respected member of the Benevolent Alliance.
  • Always Someone Better: To Mem and Zen as he so often claims. However, they were able to be better than him at one point after they break his award streak and win the award instead of him.
  • The Bully: He loves to bully Memnock and Zenblock around. While he is not violent and aggressive towards them, he frequently makes arrogant and condescending insults towards them and laughs at them for mediocre success and mistake of selecting the Noobs. Mem and Zen were able to stand up to him though.
  • Cool Helmet: Rovu wears a helmet that looks very similar to the ones Mem and Zen wear but like Mem and Zen, Rovu is never seen without the helmet.
  • Good Is Not Nice: He may be an arrogant and self-centered warrior but he's still on the side of the alliance and will not hesitate to protect his fellow warriors and their planet, should they need any help.
  • It's All About Me: Thinks he is the best recruiter and likes to rub it in his rival's faces. In fact in the episode "The Chosen Noob", when asked if he thinks one of his recruits is the chosen warrior, he scoffs and declares himself to be the chosen warrior.
  • Jerkass: Loves to rub his superiority in Mem and Zen's faces and often makes fun of them for their incompetence.
  • Smug Super: Rovu's status as a successful virus warrior came with a huge ego that went into his head hard, resulting in him becoming very smug towards other virus warriors.
  • The Rival: He's this to Mem and Zen.
  • Space Cop: Rovu is one, due to being a virus warrior.

    Chiquadotran
A legendary virus warrior who is famous for creating an extremely powerful move called the supernova. She is also the recruiter and mentor of Memnock and Zenblock, having taught them when they were at a young age.
  • Eccentric Mentor: To Mem and Zen, while she has taught them, she is known for having recorded embarrassing footage of them concerning their training blunders in their youth and does not hesitate to show that footage to the Noobs, much to Mem and Zen's dismay.
  • Pink Means Feminine: she is a short alien with pink skin and fairy like wings
  • Self-Applied Nickname: She says that "Dot" is her nickname

Middle School

    Principal Wormeramer

The eccentric principal of Cornbury middle school who is always suspicious of the Noobs and their antics as well as all the strange things going on at the school. However, she is too eccentric to fully figure out what is going on.

  • Conspiracy Theorist: She knows something weird is going on at her school, but is too much of a Cloudcuckoolander to put the pieces together.
  • Secret Chaser: She suspects Tyler, Kevin, Shope and Roach are somehow involved with the weird things happening in school.

    Jock Jockerson
Voiced by: Michael Adamthwaite
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jock.png

An arrogant student who is a bully towards the Noobs. He is not very intelligent and often refers to himself in third person. He often ends up in his underwear as a result of the Noobs' battles with the virus.

  • Alliterative Name: His first name and the first syllable of his last name are both "jock".
  • Dumb Jock: Very athletic, but not very smart.
  • Exactly What It Says on the Tin: Jock Jockerson is a jock.
  • Hidden Heart of Gold: He has one although buried underneath his muscles and stupidity. He's the only one of the Doominators Tyler managed to switch sides. He also genuinely complements the noobs when they do something good, like winning the football match.
  • Jerk Jock: Even his name is.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Both the Noobs and the Doominators can't stand him, even when he's on their side.
  • The Virus: The first one to be infected by the Virus, which turns him into a mashed potatoes monster.

    Amy Anderson

    Jessie
Voiced by: Kathleen Barr

A 14 year old school student who has an obsessive one sided crush on Kevin.

    Coach Hetz
Voiced by: Michael Adamthwaite

The official coach for Cornbury middle school and the physical education teacher for the Noobs. He is known for blowing his whistle and yelling a lot.

  • Inelegant Blubbering: He starts crying like a baby when Cornbury's football team are once again being badly beaten by their rivals.
  • Jerkass: He shows a sadistic pleasure in cutting "losers" from the team as quickly as possible. Right after that, he sent the entirety of the team against prospective new recruits Kevin, Shope and Roach. If not for their powers, they would have been flattened.
  • Manchild: Blatantly seen when he starts baby crying when his team loses.
  • Suddenly Shouting: He just loves yelling at his students, especially Kevin.

    Mr. Wertz
Voiced by: Michael Adamthwaite
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mr_wertz.png

The science teacher. He is a paranoid mad scientist who is afraid of aliens.

  • Aesop Amnesia: No matter how many times he's been caught and re-educated by the schoolboard, he always goes back into trying to catch the noobs.
  • The Cloudcuckoolander Was Right: In "Parent Teacher Noobs", he correctly guesses that the "parents" and the Noobs were actually aliens, mutants or alien-mutants. Unfortunately for him, because of his eccentricities, no one believes him.
  • Evil Teacher: He may be a teacher at Cornbury Middle School but he once tried to take over Cornbury through mind control goggles. He also created a modified form of the virus and has more than once and tried to kidnap Mem and Zen in hopes of exposing them to the world and performing sadistic and wicked experiments on them.
  • Karma Houdini: Mr. Wertz has done things that would have got him fired from his job and/or arrested and thrown in jail as he once tried to take over Cornbury with mind control goggles and modified the virus in a secret lab underneath the school. The only "punishments" he is seen getting is being thrown in an institution or taken to a rehabilitation center.
  • Mass Hypnosis: One of his earlier plans is to enslave Cornbury with mind control googles by disguising them as Safety Googles. Luckily, Shope managed to stop him.
  • Mad Scientist: Wants to take over the world. Once attempted to do this through mind control goggles until Shope stopped him. He was also revealed to have built a secret lab underneath the school where he modified the virus.
  • Professor Guinea Pig: He is revealed to have modified the virus and even used it on himself gaining multiple snake apendages on his back. This gives Shope the idea to drink some of his virus substance in order to escape from his lab after he he stole their battle balls and locked them in.
  • Took A Level In Jerk Ass: Mr. Wertz started out as an average teacher, only being a villain in "Parent Teacher Noobs" because he grew concerned and paranoid over Memnock and Zenblock's presence on Earth as aliens. Starting with "Noob Colored Glasses" he tried to take over Cornbury and the world with mind control goggles, which is considered to be his first true act of evil. He became a full fledged villain and a big jerk in "Noobs Go Viral" when he was revealed to have become obsessed with the Noobs and constructed a secret lab underneath the school where he was modifying the virus. He locked the Noobs (his own students) in his secret lab and stole their battle balls so they wouldn't escape. His paranoia over Memnock and Zenblock has turned into an obsession too.
  • Wounded Gazelle Gambit: Tricks both the Noobs and, Mem and Zem, by pretending that his virus transformation hurt his back, then immediately stealing their battleballs with his new snake powers.

Click here to see The Bookworm

Another student at Cornbury Middle School and Shope's rival.

  • Ascended Extra: He appeared mostly as a background character, before getting his own episode in Season 2.
  • Always Someone Better: Is this to Shope, as he always seems to one-up her in his debut episode.
  • Giggling Villain: The BookWorm constantly cackles or giggles whenever he has the chance.
  • Instant Expert: The BookWorm's main ability. Just by reading a book, he can master whatever's written in it.
  • Large Ham: Extremely over the top. And Sheldon was already hammy, The Book Worm takes it up a notch.
  • My Brain Is Big: His head gets bigger the more he reads new knowledge. According to XR-4TI however, there's a limit to that and when he exceeds that limit, well Kaboom!
  • The Rival: To Shope.
  • Superpowered Evil Side: The BookWorm.

Threats

    The Virus
A huge threat on the universe that infects any living organism and turns them into monsters that wreak havoc on the universe. It was created by the virus creators for unknown reasons.

  • Killer Rabbit: Most of the time, the virus infects small, harmless animals, bringing this trope into play.
  • The Virus: As the name suggests, the virus effects the host, causing it to go on a rampage. HOWEVER it should be stressed that different types of viruses can cause different effects to the infected host.

    Count Venamus
Voiced by: Trevor Devall

An agent for the creator of the virus who works for him to destroy the Noobs. Before encountering the Noobs, he was thought of as a myth but was eventually exposed by the Noobs and Mem and Zen. Since them, Venamus has become obsessed with destroying the Noobs and Meme and Zen but his plans to do so always fail and backfire mostly due to the incompetence of his minions.

  • Bald of Evil: Not much explanation needed since hes not human and is evil.
  • Bond Villain Stupidity: Did this when he told the Noobs about the meteor shower being thousands of virus's but subverted when he let them go as he needed them to lead him straight to the Galacticus.
  • The Dragon: To the virus' creator.
  • Evil Laugh: He often does this and has to stop himself in one case, as it would have ruined his plan to infect a room full of Virus fighters.
    • It sometimes leads to him developing a coughing fit.
  • Invisibility: Has stealth tech that grants him this ability.
  • Iron Butt Monkey: His coughing every time he evil laughs is an example. His ship blows up while he was inside it, launching him into space without oxygen and towards the fourth wall, and he gets crushed by an escape pod while Mem and Zen were inside it.
  • Large Ham: Venamus' hammy moments can be seen during his evil laughing and coughing.
  • Psychopathic Man Child: Venamus can be best described as a psychopath with childish tendencies as he loves spreading The Virus all over the universe to make innocent people suffer. At the same time though, he sometimes acts childish as seen in "Noobs Vs. Venamus 12" when Venamus transforms into his twelve year old self and take a huge liking towards candy and light up sneakers.
  • Real Men Hate Affection: Venamus is revealed to not only hate hugs but is downright afraid of hugs.
  • Redemption Rejection: The season 2 finale shows that while he enjoys some stuff on earth, he wants victory above everything, his minion on the other hand disagree.
  • Shrouded in Myth: Since he is often invisible, some say he doesn't exist.
  • The Sociopath: Count Venamus has many traits of sociopathy in him. Such traits include Lack of Empathy, a willingness to spread the virus for his own sadistic desires, and has attempted multiple times to murder the Noobs and Mem and Zen. The main cast tried to get him to do a Heel–Face Turn many times but it always fails

     The Virus Creators

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/creators_7.png

The main antagonist of the series. They created the virus to destroy the Benevolent Alliance and turn all organic species into rampaging monsters

  • Big Bad: Of Supernoobs.
  • Hidden Villain: They the main villain but their identity is shrouded in mystery. All that's known about them so far is that they have 6 red eyes and speaks in an alien language only Venamus understands.
  • Karma Houdini Warranty: Avoided karma until the season 2 finale for all of their crimes when at least one was killed by the super weapon.
  • Uncertain Doom: They were seemingly hit by the superweapon in the Season 2 finale, but given the fact that they survived the planet exploding in "Operation Noob", it's really hard to say if they really died.
  • Zerg Rush: Seems to be their go-to battle plan by creating a lot of virus producing planets and overwhelming the Benevolent Alliance with tons of viruses and occasionally their mech army.
