Characters / SMPLive: Schlatt & Co.

Go To

Schlatt & Co. is a company founded by Schlatt and co-owned by Connor. They sell a "totally legitimate cryptocurrency" known as Schlattcoin for the low price of 20 diamonds. Schlattcoin's value is said to only ever go up.

In actuality, Schlatt & Co. are a group of Con Men who spend their time on the server trying to get as much profit as they can from other players.

    In general
  • Adults Are Useless: Ty is more competent than his bosses, most of the time, despite being a teenager.
  • Blackmail: Schlatt and Connor threaten to tell people that Wilbur has golden apples (which are illegal on the server) if he doesn't buy their cryptocurrency.
  • Buy or Get Lost: Schlatt & Co. tend to not be interested in anything you have to say unless you want to invest into Schlattcoin.
  • Con Man: Schlatt & Co.'s primary business venture is the scam cryptocurrency known as Schlattcoin.
  • Cop Hater: Schlatt & Co. hate cops, likely due to their White-Collar Crime, being a company that centers on an exit scam.
    Connor: We don't serve cops.
Schlatt: We don't serve cops. Cops are bastards. If I see anyone on the road with a thin blue line bumper sticker, I crash my car into them and hope they die.
  • Covert Group with Mundane Front: Schlatt & Co.'s ordinary looking coffee shop is a front for an illegal drug operation.
  • Drunk with Power: When given the position of server cop, Schlatt and Connor immediately start abusing this power for their own amusement and benefit.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Blackmail? Fine. Physical threats? Yep, all good. Stealing diamonds? Now that's just too far. That's wrong, Schlatt & Co. would never stoop that low.
  • Foil: Schlatt is the outgoing, extroverted contrast to his business partner Connor's introverted and quiet self, though there's more to it than just that — Schlatt's manipulation tactics rely more on making himself out to be important and powerful, while Connor's tend to fall back on him being nonthreatening and appearing to be easy to push around.
  • Found Family via Work: With co-owners Schlatt and Connor acting as parental figures to their young intern, Ty.
  • Four-Temperament Ensemble:
    • Schlatt is Choleric — The ambitious, extroverted leader with a short temper. He's bossy and has an ego, but can also be quite caring at times if you get on his good side.
    • Connor is Melancholic — The introverted right hand man who tends to be blunt in his wording. Reserved, but highly dedicated to his company and his business partner. Often the voice of reason when needed.
    • Ty is Phlegmatic — He is, like Connor, generally quiet, however he is a lot more friendly and people-oriented, being the most affable member of the group. He is genuinely fond of his role at Schlatt & Co. despite others' concerns, and tends to be the diplomatic one of the company.
    • While his time as an employee of Schlatt & Co. is limited, Altrive is Sanguine — Cheerful and friendly, having a good sense of humor and being eager to help out.
  • Gaslighting: Schlatt & Co. attempt to gaslight Gold into thinking they never scammed him before when they try to convince him to buy a map with a picture of Belle Delphine from them.
Schlatt: Gold, have we ever wronged you?
Gold: Yeah, you tried to scam me the first time we talked.
    Schlatt: That memory escapes me.
    Connor: What scam?
  • Ham and Deadpan Duo: Schlatt and Connor form one, with Schlatt as the Large Ham and Connor his Sarcastic Devotee who frequently replies to Schlatt's dramatic comments with deadpan remarks.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: Connor and Schlatt may have married for tax benefits, as Connor tells AntVenom "that's just the reality of marriage" when asked about how Schlatt & Co. handles disagreements given their 50/50 ownership split. He immediately does a Verbal Backspace, but Ant doesn't buy it — and it makes sense why, given their behavior.
  • Homoerotic Subtext:
    • Schlatt goes on a long ramble about how he and Connor should "live off the land" together and build a farm, which Connor points out is "a little gay", causing Schlatt to reply with:
Schlatt: Connor, I am a homosexual.
    • Connor once accidentally implies him and his business partner are married when talking to AntVenom, which he quickly tries to correct by saying he meant "in the company".
    • In "We made a building", Sneeg tells Schlatt that his chat wants them to have sex. His main concern about this is that he doesn't know "if Connor would be jealous".
  • Laughably Evil: Schlatt & Co. are completely and utterly incompetent in achieving their goals of scamming other players, something that is played up in a very humorous way.
  • Like an Old Married Couple: Schlatt and Connor frequently bicker over minor disagreements, and Connor even accidentally implies they're married in one stream.
  • Meaningful Name: Schlatt & Co. means Schlatt & Co[mpany], obviously, but it can also mean Schlatt & Co[nnor].
  • Nice, Mean, and In-Between: Ty is generally friendly and kind to everyone, Schlatt is a manipulative asshole, and Connor can be either of the two depending on how he feels that day.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Schlatt is the loud, outgoing Red Oni to Connor's quiet, reserved Blue Oni. Fittingly, their tie colors match this.
  • Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: Connor is the Sensitive Guy (reserved, gullible, and nervous) and Schlatt is the Manly Man (loud, arrogant, and dominating).
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: Schlatt and Connor co-own a business and are rarely seen apart, but often bicker.
  • White-Collar Crime: Schlatt & Co. aren't afraid to stoop to shady business practices. After all, their entire company is founded on a cryptocurrency exit scam.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Schlatt and Connor are terrified of Herobrine, freaking out when someone builds an image of him on their property and becoming paranoid that others are secretly involved with "Brine".

"The world is gonna know who Jebediah Schlatt is!"
Casual outfit
Rammie skin
In-game name: jschlatt
Preferred name: Schlatt

Jebediah Schlattnote  is one of the original 12 members of SMPLive, and the co-owner of Schlatt & Co. alongside his business partner, ConnorEatsPants. Schlatt considers himself a brilliant "businessman", though actually tends to be more of a nuisance to other players than anything. He can frequently be a Jerkass, but he has his soft spots, and does genuinely care for some of the other server members.

For tropes relating to this character as he appears in Dream SMP, see Dream SMP: Jschlatt.

  • Anti-Role Model: Schlatt is a mentor figure to the teenaged Ty, and is an absolutely terrible role model despite this, something Ty's mother and friends point out constantly.
  • Asshole Victim: For all his jerkassery and attempted scams, Schlatt often gets mistreated or draws the short end of the stick. It's hard to feel bad for him when his misery usually comes about as the result of one of his own schemes backfiring on him.
  • Audience? What Audience?: Some characters are very aware of the medium they're in... While Schlatt on the other hand is not, and will get actively upset if someone points it out.
Michael: Did I take the roleplay too far...?
    Schlatt: Roleplay??
  • Authority in Name Only: Schlatt will often threaten to reprimand Connor or reduce his share in the company, when in actuality he doesn't have the power to as they equally co-own Schlatt & Co.
  • Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: He has a moment of this with Connor in one stream:
Schlatt: You know I would never get genuinely upset at you.
  • Beleaguered Boss: Despite being just as incompetent himself, he'll often bicker with his Number Two Connor about minor mistakes, such as when he tried to tower up to him using glass.
  • Belligerent Sexual Tension: Schlatt has shades with both Wilbur and AntVenom, saying about the former "I'm gonna beat the shit out of him, and then I'm gonna kiss him", and having a rivalry with the latter mixed with a Celeb Crush.
  • Berserk Button: There are plenty of things that will set him off, but playing Stal around him is a one-way ticket to permanently damaging your eardrums.
  • Big Bad Wannabe: Schlatt prides himself on being a brilliant scammer and a Corrupt Corporate Executive, when in actuality he tends to be more of a mild nuisance to other players. His schemes often backfire hilariously, and to most he comes off as more of an incompetent grifter than a dangerous Con Man.
  • Big Stupid Doo Doo Head: "You stupid idiot" and "you dumb idiot" are favorite insults of his.
  • Boisterous Weakling: Schlatt has a tendency to make threats he can't back up. This usually ends in him combat-logging immediately out of panic.
  • Boomerang Bigot: One of Schlatt's main Running Gags is behaving like a homophobic gay man.
Schlatt: What the FUCK, are you GAY? [when another man tries to kiss him]
Schlatt: Did you just call two gay people GOBLINS? [when Carson was "homophobic" to him and Aztro]
  • Broken Pedestal: Played for Laughs when he first meets AntVenom, his self-proclaimed "childhood hero", who isn't exactly endeared to Schlatt's callous behavior.
Schlatt: My childhood hero just called me bipolar.
  • Can't Take Criticism: Schlatt hates when people try to criticize the way he runs his company, to the point that he's initially very irritated at Ty's "complaint chest" until shown it was a prank.
  • Celeb Crush: He has one towards AntVenom, his self-described "childhood hero", who he wants to defeat the Ender Dragon with and sleep in the same bed with.
  • Character Catchphrase:
    • "Fuck... What's poppin'?"
    • "You know what they call me? They call me..."
    • "You got boofed."
  • Characterization Marches On: When he first creates Schlattcoin, he does so with the knowledge that absolutely no one would fall for such blatant Schmuck Bait, but choosing to create it anyways to see who's stupid enough to despite this. For the entire series after this point, however, Schlatt seems to be completely unaware of and vehemently upset by the idea that Schlattcoin is too obvious of a scheme to be successful, to the point of loudly denying it's a scam even right next to obvious signs that it is.
  • Character Overlap: Canonically the same person as his Dream SMP counterpart.
  • Character’s Most Hated Song: Schlatt has a vehement hatred of the in-game music disc Stal that becomes a full-out case of Enmity with an Object as just seeing the disc makes him angry. However, playing the disc almost always ends in Schlatt reacting with violence or by getting as loud as he possibly can... which is extremely, given his low-quality and distorted "funny mic".
  • Character Tics: Schlatt never sprints, instead walking everywhere. This is frequently pointed out, to the point that it's called "Schlatt walking".
  • Color Motif: Schlatt's color is red, which can be seen on his tie. This fits well with how he is the Red Oni in his partnership with Connor, and represents his passionate and intense nature.
  • Corrupt Corporate Executive: This is his whole bit on the server — a money-hungry businessman who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty.
  • Cuteness Proximity: Despite his serious-business facade, Schlatt tends to have a major soft spot for anything that melts his heart — whether that be Ty giving him a gift, or Zach's silly doorbell that makes a noise that greatly amuses him.
  • Deconstructed Character Archetype: Of the Corrupt Corporate Executive — Schlatt attempts to portray himself as a cunning con man who rules his company with an iron fist, when he's actually viewed as an annoyance whose schemes are completely incompetent, and he doesn't even own his entire company, only half of it, after being sued by a victim of his scam. His antics drive Schlatt & Co. into a state of perpetual failure and leaves them $90,000 in debt.
  • Dirty Coward: Schlatt is not above combat-logging and just generally running away from anything that he feels threatened by.
  • Drama Queen: Schlatt's reactions to minor transgressions are always extremely hammy, with him getting very loud and very distraught.
  • Early Installment Character-Design Difference:
    • For the first day of the server he wears a casual outfit which is never seen again.
    • In Month 2 he very briefly uses a skin based on his Rammie mascot.
  • Enmity with an Object: Schlatt absolutely despises the music disc Stal, beyond just hating the song itself, to the point that just seeing the physical disc itself enrages him.
  • Establishing Character Moment: In the very first day of the server, Schlatt already manages to piss off everyone else through his Sensory Abuse, and later proves his pettiness through the fight he picks with AntVenom over Stal and his attempt to get him banned for disagreeing with him.
  • Evil Is Petty: While not all of Schlatt's misdeeds are directed, a lot of them are and in incredibly petty ways, such as his entire feud with Ant being based on a disagreement over opinions on an in-game song, and appointing himself every role in his trial against Wilbur for no reason other than because he can.
  • Evil Laugh: A downright manic laugh at that, frequently seen when he's proud of himself for successfully tricking someone into his schemes.
  • Expy: Schlatt's SMPLive character is heavily based on Sips from the Yogscast, with Schlatt & Co. being clearly modeled after SipsCo. Both are businessmen in Minecraft series who co-own a company with their loyal Number Two. When Sips is brought up as a comparison by a commenter on one SMPLive video, Schlatt replies with "you have no idea how happy this comment makes me".
  • Fatal Flaw: His lack of self-awareness and common sense tends to be his undoing, as his schemes typically backfire on their own rather than being thwarted.
  • Given Name Reveal: During People of SMPLive v. Schlattcoin, he proudly announces that he's going to make a name for himself, and uses his full name:
Schlatt: The world is gonna know who Jebediah Schlatt is!
  • Goal in Life: Schlatt's life goal is simple — he just wants to make a lot of money at other people's expense.
  • Gotta Have It, Gonna Steal It: Ty teaches him about shulker boxes, and Schlatt decides he's going to steal one from Travis.
  • Grammar Correction Gag: When Ty forgets the "and" in Schlatt & Co., he immediately gets upset and corrects him.
Schlatt: Schlatt AND Co. And Co. Ty, there's an ampersand— There's an ampersand!
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: It is extremely easy to make Schlatt mad, and he gets very loud when he is.
  • I Have Many Names: Schlatt is infamous for the amount of nicknames he accumulates throughout the series, with the list being so long that the wiki has to hide it in a separate page.
  • Insufferable Imbecile: Schlatt is a complete and utter moron, and also a grade A Jerkass, something which is frequently pointed out. He's ineffective in his schemes due to his lack of common sense.
  • Jerkass: Schlatt is a manipulative con artist who isn't above treating others badly for his own gain.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Despite his scamming and arrogant nature, it is clear that Schlatt does genuinely care about Connor and Ty beyond their usefulness to the company.
  • Kick the Dog: He kills Ty the first time they meet, for no real reason.
  • Large Ham: Comical Overreacting is his bread and butter. Just be ready for when he turns on his funny mic, it's extremely loud.
  • Last-Name Basis: He usually is referred to as just "Schlatt", his surname.
  • The Leader: To Schlatt & Co., despite only owning half of the company. While he and Connor are technically equals, Connor tends to listen to anything he says.
  • Like a Son to Me: He has a tendency to be the Team Dad to younger players he encounters, even if he's not the best role model. He specifically fills this role for Ty (which is joked about by other players), and to Grunk (who he actually adopts).
  • Malicious Misnaming: On the receiving end of this from AntVenom.
Ant: All I'm saying is I'm not the one named "Gay Slut".
  • Manipulative Bastard: Manipulation is the main thing he uses to get his way, particularly Gaslighting and shifting the blame for his actions onto others in order to get away with his misdeeds.
  • Mean Boss: He can be a pretty harsh boss to Connor and Ty sometimes, despite actually caring for them deep down.
Schlatt: Listen, man, I'm just trying to get you to assert yourself a little bit more. It's just... I'm looking at a charity case right now.
  • No Indoor Voice: Constantly yelling and screaming. It's worse when he breaks out the funny mic.
  • Pet the Dog: When Ty brings him a shulker box, his reaction makes it evident he does genuinely care about him and appreciates his help.
Schlatt: Aw... Aw, Ty, you sweetheart.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: He makes quite a few distasteful jokes, though most often to suggest other server members are being bigoted when they aren't.
Schlatt: There goes ConnorEatsPants, making fun of gay people one more time!
Connor: I was not making fun of gay people!
  • Rivals Team Up: Schlatt and AntVenom team up to kill the Ender Dragon, despite their initial conflict over the music disc Stal.
  • Schemer: Schlatt is constantly coming up with wacky schemes that tend to backfire on him, usually due to his own lack of common sense.
  • Self-Applied Nickname: Schlatt will often ask people if they "know what they call" him, before blurting out a bizarre nickname that only he has ever used. Connor will often respond by pointing out that no one actually calls him that.
  • Sensory Abuse: His "funny mic" — an extremely distorted and low quality microphone he frequently uses as part of his Comical Overreacting. It's sometimes so bad that it audibly clips.
  • Sharp-Dressed Man: He wears a suit with a red tie, fitting for his attempts to appear as a suave businessman.
  • Signature Laugh: He has a very over the top, almost manic laugh.
  • Single-Issue Wonk: Praising the music disc Stal will send him off on a non-stop freakout. He even tries to convince Carson (who he barely knows at that point) to ban AntVenom for liking Stal when they first meet.
  • Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: AntVenom and Schlatt have a rivalry over their different opinions on the music disc Stal, which Ant enjoys and Schlatt absolutely despises, being a major Single-Issue Wonk for him.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: Schlatt likes to present himself as a smart and successful businessman and has an inflated view of his own importance, when in actuality, his schemes almost always backfire and his company is tens of thousands of dollars in debt.
  • Smug Snake: Schlatt is a sleazy Con Man and Big Bad Wannabe who tends to be smug about everything he does despite it not really being warranted, given his incompetence.
  • Stylistic Suck: His "funny mic" is an intentionally low-quality and distorted microphone he uses for humorous reactions.
  • Team Dad: Players often refer to Schlatt as Ty's dad, and he quickly takes the young Grunk under his wing during their first meeting.
  • Totally Not a Criminal Front: Schlatt labels his "hidden" chest he uses to store his profits from Schlattcoin... his "scam chest".
  • Troll: Less so than a lot of other players, being mostly preoccupied by his scam attempts rather than pranking his servermates, but he is notable for his "Cuck Shed", a cobblestone shack that drops players who enter it down into a pit for Schlatt to kill them and collect their items.
  • Ultimate Authority Mayor: Tries to appoint himself such during the mayoral election, with Carson encouraging him. Other server members, notably Michaelmcchill, immediately object to this.
  • Verbal Tic: When killing someone, or leaving, or even just putting a wall between them, he tends to blurt out "bye-bye!", sometimes multiple times. Michaelmcchill even ends up accidentally picking it up after spending a whole day with him.
  • Would Hurt a Child:

In-game name: ConnorEatsPants
Preferred name: Connor

Connor is a member of SMPLive who joined on March 22, 2019. He is the co-owner of Schlatt & Co. following a legal dispute with Schlatt over him scamming Connor with Schlattcoin. Following the case, he is Schlatt's Number Two, and a Manipulative Bastard himself, using his nonthreatening reputation to his advantage. He is quieter and more reserved than his business associate, but shares his profit-oriented mindset and tendency for White-Collar Crime. He also owns a building in Spawn City called the Connor Complex that houses offices for various businesses on the server.

For tropes relating to this character as he appears in Dream SMP, see Dream SMP: The Syndicate.

  • Blue Is Calm: After his skin change, his color motif starts to become blue instead of the initial yellow/purple combo, which fits with his role as the Blue Oni to Schlatt's Red Oni, and reflects how he is more reserved and calm than his business partner typically is.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: In direct contrast to Schlatt's utter lack of medium awareness, Connor frequently speaks directly to his Twitch chat.
  • Bungled Suicide: Played for Laughs in one video, where he bemoans that he "can't even kill himself properly", which Schlatt ridicules him for.
  • Butt-Monkey: Connor gets subjected to the never-ending "eat pant Conar" meme both in and out of universe.
    • Its first appearance is as a prank on him, a vaguely pants-shaped structure made of melons built outside his house with the words written on a sign. He, while being audibly distressed, shows Schlatt to the structure, who is incredibly amused by it, much to Connor's dismay.
    • The name "Conar" becomes a recurring point of annoyance for Schlatt to use against him, as it always causes him to get a reaction out of his second-in-command.
    • Out of universe, the phrase was spammed in comments and chat for any SMPLive content involving Connor to the point that it was outright banned in his chat, and still will get you timed out to this day.
  • Celeb Crush: While not as overt as Schlatt's, he does have this to say about famed Minecraft YouTuber AntVenom:
<ConnorEatsPants> god i just want him to kick my ass
  • Character Overlap: Canonically the same person as his Dream SMP counterpart.
  • Color Motif: Initially, his main color motifs are yellow, which can be interpreted as a reflection of his tendency to attack others out of frustration or to entertain himself, as yellow is a common representation of a warning, and purple, which is often used to represent wealth, something Connor greatly desires.
  • Comically Missing the Point: The root of a lot of his deadpan snark is him not understanding something isn't meant literally.
Schlatt: You know the phrase "no rest for the wicked"? There's no diamonds for the boofed.
Connor: ...This quote is completely irrelevant to what's happening.
  • Compulsive Liar: Connor will often lie about extremely unimportant details that he gains absolutely nothing from lying about.
  • Cosplay: His casual outfit is a Wario cosplay.
  • Crocodile Tears: Connor fakes crying multiple times when he and Schlatt are attempting to scam Gold, in order to make him feel bad.
Schlatt: You don't want to hear Connor cry.
  • Deadpan Snarker: He frequently plays this to Schlatt's Large Ham. "I don't think they call you that" is a common response to Schlatt's self-assigned nicknames, and he often speaks in a deadpan tone.
  • Determinator: After he loses all his items, he gives a dramatic inspirational speech to his chat about how "gamers never give up".
  • Driven to Suicide: Played for Laughs when Connor defeats AntVenom in the arena. He announces that he can't live with himself and jumps into a pit of lava.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: "Conar", which originates from a prank pulled on him. He always has a visceral reaction when called by it, which only makes the others use it more.
  • Extreme Doormat: Connor is the more reserved out of Schlatt & Co.'s two owners, tending to be much more quiet. He's also very obedient to Schlatt despite him technically having equal power as him, though not without snark. Schlatt points this out, talking about Connor's "submissive nature" and saying he needs to assert himself more, and threatening to reduce his share in the companynote . Connor does briefly object to this, but gives up on arguing almost immediately.
  • Fangirl: Connor acts like a fangirl when around AntVenom or CaptainSparklez — especially the former, who he desperately wants to lose to in the arena at spawn.
  • Fatal Flaw: His pushover nature is his biggest flaw, as it's easy to trick him or take advantage of him, which others often use against him.
  • I Call It "Vera": A variant with a tool instead of a weapon, but his pickaxe is named "Ice Fucker 3000", in reference to his ice shop at Spawn.
  • I'm Taking Her Home with Me!: Connor is immediately enamored with Gold's cute pet parrot, Rye, and he and Schlatt decide they're going to kidnap her for themselves.
  • Inconsistent Coloring: Upon the skin change, his eyes go from brown to blue.
  • Ink-Suit Actor: His new skin is designed to more closely resemble his IRL appearance.
  • It Amused Me: His reasoning behind convincing Altrive to jump off a cliff while they're working on the coffee shop is just that he thought it'd be amusing.
Connor: I didn't have a hit on you. I just thought it'd be funny if you jumped off the cliff.
  • Jerkass: Although a somewhat downplayed example, Connor is still a con man with a knack for manipulation and gets a kick out of seeing others suffer for his amusement.
  • Lima Syndrome: Connor kidnaps Gold's bird, Rye, and gets attached to her, becoming very upset when Travis accidentally kills her.
Connor: We stole his son and then it died, and now I'm really pissed at him!
  • Manipulative Bastard: He's just as much one as Schlatt is, and arguably even better at it given his generally nonthreatening reputation. This is especially visible when the two blackmail Wilbur, as Connor is doing most of the manipulation.
  • A Molten Date with Death: Connor jumps into a lava pit and burns himself alive with the diamonds from Schlatt's "scam chest".
  • Mr. Exposition: He occasionally ends up providing infodumps to the audience, such as the video where he does nothing besides show his viewers around Spawn City and explain what everything is.
  • Number Two: To Schlatt, as the co-owner of Schlatt & Co. He is often seen tagging along with him and helping him with his scams.
  • Patriotic Fervor: Connor builds a giant American flag outside his house for the Fourth of July, and gets Svyoshi to help him with a giant fireworks show. When asked if he was going to do something for Christmas, he says he "only works for his country, not Santa".
  • Phrase Catcher: "Eat pant Conar" and its many variations, much to his dismay.
  • Sarcastic Devotee: To Schlatt. He's extremely loyal to him to the point of risking his own life for him, but will still shoot snarky comments his way any chance he can get.
  • Self-Immolation: Connor has killed himself using lava on multiple occasions.
  • Sharp-Dressed Man: He wears a suit, with a purple tie on his old skin, and a blue one on his new skin. Like his business partner, this matches his outward appearance of a successful businessman.
  • Significant Wardrobe Shift: Upon forming Schlatt & Co., Connor swaps out his Wario cosplay for a snazzy business suit.
  • Shout-Out: Connor's new skin has the Infinity Gauntlet and is wearing a Wario hat. His old skin is a cross between XXXTentacion and Wario, known as "Jahrio".
  • Stupid Sacrifice: He tries to sacrifice himself to save Schlatt from the wrath of a very upset Gold, only to end up with both of them dying instead.
  • Too Kinky to Torture: Kinky may not be the right word, since it's not outright sexual, but Connor takes a bizarre interest in being knocked around by the other server members — gleefully exclaiming that he'd like AntVenom to beat him in the arena, excitedly encouraging Michael to hit him with his dual-wielded swords, egging on Sparklez to hit him harder...
  • Undying Loyalty: Connor is completely loyal to Schlatt to the point of throwing himself in front of an angry Gold like a human shield.
  • Wins by Doing Absolutely Nothing: This is Connor's plan in the Assassin Event — to win not by killing his hits, but by waiting for them to die by other means — and it works (kind of).
  • You Don't Look Like You: His later skin is completely different than his original one. Justified as it was changed to be closer to his real life counterpart due to discomfort with people drawing him with a darker skintone as a result of his XXXTentacion skin.

"I'm not saying that we steal one... But we could, you know... permanently borrow one."
Business suit
In-game name: iamtyyy
Preferred name: Ty

Ty is one of the younger members of SMPLive, and joined on May 12, 2019. He is The Intern to Schlatt & Co. — unpaid, being "paid in exposure", and the son of Toxxxicsupport. He is close friends with Junky Janker and LukeOrSomething. Ty is generally calm and laid-back, but also very mischievous, frequently using his mellow demeanor to get away with his misdoings.

  • Amazing Technicolor Population: Ty iz literally pure white.
  • Ambiguously Human: His mother is human, but he is some kind of humanoid creature. What he is, exactly, isn't clear.
  • Affably Evil: Ty is generally friendly and kind, but he's still a scammer who's loyal to Schlatt & Co.
  • Black Bead Eyes: Actually gray bead eyes. It matches with the rest of his skin being highly simplistic.
  • "Blackmail" Is Such an Ugly Word: In "Doing business in Minecraft", he is insistent that he and Schlatt aren't stealing a shulker box from Travis, just borrowing one. Permanently. Without asking.
  • Color Motif: Pink is Ty's color motif. Notably, pink is also the color motif of his mother Angel, and the lighter variant of red, which is the color motif for Ty's boss turned father figure, Schlatt — and it can also represent Ty's calmer nature.
  • The Cutie: Ty is one of the youngest server members, wears pink, and is generally quiet and friendly.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: Despite all of his loved ones warning him against trusting Schlatt, and him being killed by him when they first meet, Ty is still loyal to the con man and enjoys being his intern.
  • The Intern: Ty is the unpaid intern of Schlatt & Co., working "for exposure".
  • Light Is Not Good: His skin is pure white and he's an employee of scam cryptocurrency company Schlatt & Co., though this is downplayed as he is Affably Evil at worst.
  • Momma's Boy: He gets along extremely well with his mother, Angel, though their relationship can be strained at times.
  • Nice Guy: Compared to his bosses, Ty is quiet and kind, though it's partially a front for his chaotic nature.
  • Now, Buy the Merchandise: The name of his sword is the URL of his merch shop.
  • Seamless Spontaneous Lie: To get Schlatt to stop being stubborn about testing his complaint chest, he suddenly says that anything Schlatt writes for it will become true. Schlatt, being the idiot he is, believes this.
  • Token Good Teammate: To Schlatt & Co., albeit downplayed, as he's still a scammer with a tendency to cause mischief. But at least he's nice about it?

Fallen Kingdom outfit
In-game name: Altrive
Preferred name: Altrive

Altrive is one of the original 12 SMPLive members. He tends to be friendly to most people on the server, and is one of the few members that can be considered a pacifist, since he set his hit prices extremely high. Despite generally being a Nice Guy, he also has a massive chaotic streak, and tends to frame others for his pranks and schemes. Altrive is also one of the best builders on the server, working together with Krinios.

  • Badass Pacifist: Despite being a pacifist, he can actually hold his own in a fight, such as easily defeating Nick when he's forced by Schlatt and Connor to fight him to the death in the arena.
  • Chained by Fashion: He wears a chain on his pants.
  • Color Motif: Altrive's green motif reflects his Technical Pacifist nature, as green is commonly associated with health and positivity.
  • Construction Is Awesome: He and Krinios build massive structures together, including Fallen Kingdom.
  • Nice Guy: Altrive is one of the few server members that could be considered a pacifist, since he set his hit price absurdly high, and he's generally friendly towards everyone.
  • Non-Action Guy: Altrive prefers to avoid fighting, setting his hit price so high that no one would ever think to give him one. Instead, he spends most of his time on the server playing pranks on others and building with his construction partner Krinios.
  • The Prankster: While he generally won't kill other players, he does enjoy pranking them, such as turning a room in Schlatt's base into a White Void Room using maps.
  • Technical Pacifist: He's only a pacifist out of technicality — his hit price is so high that no viewer would reasonably donate that much. He's not entirely above fighting.
