    Boyfriend/.XML
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_sides_bf.png
He's the king of rap.
Voiced by: Band

"Idc fuck dem kids"
The main protagonist of the mod. This Boyfriend variant has a ton of hobbies, a ton of money thanks to his father being CEO of a successful gaming company, and while he also does have quite a particular appetite, he would do anything for his Girlfriend.
  • Extreme Omnivore: Type II. His favorite snack is drywall and his favorite drink is wet cement. The in-universe explanation for him being able to eat anything is because his stomach is like that of a goat.
  • My Hair Came Out Green: What you see in his hair is not shading. His hair is naturally lavender, but the dark purple splotch is from a botched attempt to dye his hair a darker color.

    Girlfriend
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_sides_gf_4.png
In case you wanted a female playable protagonist...D-Side sure has you covered!
Voiced by: SuperKirbyLover

"For real, I've been holding off until we can hang out in my place again. I've been waiting to show you and I can't wait for you to see it!"
The main deuteragonist, and Boyfriend's...well, girlfriend. She loves going out and exploring, and having a rich boyfriend helps out with that goal.
  • Boomerang Bigot: She considers eating meat to be morally wrong, but throws it out the window once a bucket of fried chicken gets placed in front of her.
  • Born of Magic: She was conceived through magic, considering her father is a transgender man.
  • Genki Girl: She's a lot more energetic and excitable than OG Girlfriend, and her cheering pose has her squealing with delight.
  • Promoted to Playable: Unlike in the original game, Girlfriend could be selected as a playable character in this mod.

    Pico
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_sides_pico.png
That's not Cyclops you're looking at.
Voiced by: RecD

"Sorry, old pal, but I got bills to pay."
The leader of a notorious gang of assassins, opponent of Week 3, Boyfriend's ex-boyfriend, and also a character the player can play as. His design in D-Sides was inspired by a line from Pico's School: Love Conquers All about Pico and Cyclops switching hairstyles. Pico also plans to be playable in the D-Sides remix of Sporting against Matt.
  • Gun Twirling: Does this in his idle animation.
  • No Social Skills: Despite being good at assassinating targets, he's very bad at taking social cues and is often trying to reconcile with Boyfriend when he just wants to be left alone.
  • Promoted to Playable: Like with Girlfriend, he gets a playable appearance here. Even though Pico is planned to be a playable character in Freeplay mode in the vanilla game, this feature has not been implemented yet.

Others

    Nene
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dsideneneanim.gif
This is not what it seems.
Voiced by: flyplague

"Now how should I go about killing myself?"
Pico's friend. Her design in D-Sides was inspired by a line from Pico's School: Love Conquers All about Pico and Cyclops switching hairstyles. Nene also accompanies the player alongside Darnell if you play as Pico.
  • Adaptational Dye-Job: Like with Pico, her design bears no reminiscence to the original character. Nene, though, has a design reminiscent of Cassandra.

    Cyclops
Pico & Darnell's friend. Like Pico, his design in D-Sides was inspired by a line from Pico's School: Love Conquers All about Pico and Cyclops switching hairstyles. Cyclops is also one of the many background characters in Week 3.

    Alucard
No, not that Alucard. THIS Alucard, Cyclops' friend. He is one of the many background characters in Week 3.

    Dillo/Hog
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_1743_26.jpeg
Whatever happened to abandoning an old design…
Click here to see his old concept
Click here to see his new concept

A bootlegged Mighty that acts as the actual Hog's D-Side version. He makes no appearances in the mod alone, instead being demoted to The Cameo.

  • Development Gag: Despite having never been planned for the mod, he still appears among the paintings in "God Feast".
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: If you read the title of this folder correctly, you'd know this version of Hog has since been replaced with a newer onenote .
  • Non-Indicative Name: Originally, he was neither a hog nor an armadillo. He was a pangolin. Subverted as of the new design's reveal.

"Don't eat at Burger King!"
Ourple Guy's D-Sides version. He serves as the first playable character in "Lore".
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Because Crying Child never suffered the Bite Of 87, Afton never became the psychopathic child killer he is in canon FNAF.

"Security guard!"

    KloogyBaboogy
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2023_11_22_84842_am.png

Upcoming Playable Characters

    Darnell
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/untitled175_20231027053656.png

Voiced by: Plank

Pico's longtime friend and right-hand man, a member of a notorious gang of assassins, and also a character the player can play as. He is one of the 5 background characters in Week 3, and is set to be a playable character in the D-Sides remix of "Overdue".

  • No Social Skills: Despite being good at assassinating targets, he's very bad at taking social cues, much like his friend.
  • Promoted to Playable: Like with Girlfriend and Pico, he gets a playable appearance here, though it is saved for a future update.

    Hatsune Miku
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/untitled176_20231027062321.png
Boyfriend's younger sister and a pop sensation. Miku an upcoming character for the 3.0 hotfix where she'll fight Hex in a remix of "Dunk".

    Sonic The Hedgehog
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_7051.jpeg
Looks like it's my lucky day, huh.
The Guardian Of The Master Emerald. Sonic is set to be the player character in the D-Sides remix of "Chaos" where he'll fight Super Scourge and is also set to be an opponent in "Cartoon Crossover", the D-Sides remix of "Cross Console Clash".

    Miles "Tails" Prower
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0017.jpeg
I've changed a lot since I started hanging with Sonic, but I can't depend on him forever. I know I can do this by myself!
Claws' best friend. Tails was meant to be the player character in the D-Sides remix of "Goddess" (the latter of which he would've fought against Cosmo.EXT), and he is also set to be an opponent in Cartoon Crossover, the D-Sides remix of "Cross Console Clash" alongside Sonic and Amy.

    Mario & Luigi
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2023_11_16_82555_am.png
Let's-a Go! Okie Dokie!
Nintendo's iconic brothers you know all too well. Mario and Luigi are set to be playable in the D-Sides remixes of "Boo Blitz", "Koopa Armada" and "Cross Console Clash".

    Todd
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wx__official_d_side_mx__by_amytheshark202_dgptyh1_fullview_6.jpeg
Will he outrun WX this time?
Voiced by: (???)

A young boy that takes on the form of Toad, seemingly trapped inside a copy of Wario's Woods. Todd is the D-Sides version of Lucas and is set to be playable in the D-Sides remix of "Game Over".
  • Adaptational Deviation: While FrazzDude already has a D-Sides equivalent to Lucas (Mark), Todd stands out as an entirely different variant altogether, separate from Mark. Additionally, he inhabits a Toad vessel instead of a Mario vessel like his original counterpart.

    Toad
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dsidestoadteaser.jpg
I'm the best!
Peach's assistant as well as Mario & Luigi's sidekick. Toad is set to be playable in "Cartoon Crossover", the D-Sides remix of "Cross Console Clash" alongside Mario & Luigi.

    Cyan
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2023_11_17_35538_pm.png
Not all Impostors are bad
A more passive impostor than the others. Cyan is the D-Sides version of Pink and is planned to be playable in the D-Sides remix of Pretender. She is also set to be an opponent in the D-Sides remixes of "Heartbeat" and "Pinkwave".

    Jimmy
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_sides_jimmy.png
What's up guys?
The D-sides version of JimboGames' persona. Jimmy is set to be playable in the upcoming D-Sides remix of "Dead End" from his own mod, where he'll fight Daddy Dearest.

Story Opponents

    Placeholder
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_sides_placeholder.png
It's quite the literal test bot.
Week 0's opponent: a buggy singing robot designed by Daddy Dearest when he was just starting his music carrier. It's capable of changing its voice to match its opponent, and it has been around sitting in an attic for who knows how long.
  • Bait-and-Switch Character Intro: The menu and the opening of "Test" makes it look as if you are about to fight another Boyfriend, as the Placeholder's silhouette resembles Boyfriend. Then it gets revealed and its actually wearing a cap (with a detachable hair) and some pieces of paper making it resemble Boyfriend, all of which falls off it almost immediately after its reveal.

    Daddy Dearest
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_sides_dd.png
He looks even more like a Big Red Devil.
Voiced by: Philliplol

"There's this gremlin with the shit-eatin' grin who's been tryin' to get into my daughter's pants. The bastard's been driving me crazy."
Week 1's opponent. Just like in the vanilla game, he's Girlfriend's father and Boyfriend's rival. He also appears with Mommy Mearest as an opponent in Week 5.

    Skid and Pump
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_sides_spooky.png
"Wow! That was super spooky, mister!" "Yeah! Your costume looks great! Come have some fun with us!"
Voiced by: kloogybaboogy (Skid) JimboGames (Pump)

A pair of kids who love to dance. Skid and Pump are the first opponents of Week 2 and the playable characters in the D-Sides remix of Foolhardy.

  • Promoted to Playable: Skid and Pump become playable in the 3.0 update thanks to the remix of Foolhardy.

Chester the Cherry and Lemon Bambino
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_sides_chester.png
Some very nightmare-inducing eye candy.
Voiced by: Philliplol (Chester) EllisBros (Lemon Bambino)

"Juicy and succulent, good words to describe this wonderful night, where you're perfectly ripe."
Week 2 and 5's second opponent: a cherry-favored candy monster that Pump accidentally created when he dropped a cherry-flavored piece of candy in a chemical vat, later accompanied by a lemon creature of unknown origin. These two only have one thing in mind: eating you.

    Mommy Mearest
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_sides_mm.png
"Let's see you rap from 10 kilos high!"
Voiced by: Prinny

Girlfriend's mother. Mommy Mearest serves at the opponent in Week 4 and Week 5 alongside Daddy Dearest.

    Sensei
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_sides_sensei.png
"I have severely underestimated you. I will not make that mistake again."
Voiced by: Beethovenus
A formidable yet affable street fighter who ends up fighting Boyfriend and Girlfriend. Sensei is the D-Sides version of Senpai and the main opponent of Week 6.

    Dwayne (SPOILERS UNMARKED)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dwayne_d_sides.gif
"I began to lose sight of myself."
Girlfriend's close friend tapped by Daddy Dearest inside of a fighting game. Dwyane is the D-Sides version of Spirit and the second opponent of Week 6 and plans to be playable in the D-Sides remix of Uproar from Mind Games.

    John Planeman
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_sides_john.png
"For a couple of lovebirds, you two don't seem to know how to fly."
Voiced by: kloogybaboogy
The commander of a military aerial assault force. Planeman is the opponent in Week 7.

Freeplay Opponents

    Chica
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_sides_chica.gif
The actual Chica's D-Sides version. She serves as the opponent in Performance.
  • Adaptational Dye-Job: Chica has now fully embraced her love for pastries, to the point of becoming a baker.

    Mack
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_sides_mat.gif
"Hello, Internet. Welcome to True Theory, the only series on the internet where you'll hear nothing but the truth. No lies to be found here."
A conspiracy theorist who claims everything he says is true, Mack is the D-Sides version of MatPat and is the opponent in Lore.

    Mighty.zip/Zephaniah
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_sides_mighty_zip.gif
"In the notepad, fates are written, 'cuz Pandora didn't listen...Time will march, and here with me. THIS SCREEN'S THE LAST YOU'LL EVER SEE!"
Voiced by: Philliplol
A malevolent creature that takes on the form of Mighty the Armadillo. He is an opponent in "Try Harder", the D-side remix of "Too Slow" and is planned to be the opponent in "No Rest", "Soul Clash" and "Final Lap", the D-Sides remixes of You Can't Run, Triple Trouble and Final Escape respectively. He also appears in ItsYaBoi_Joseph's D-Sides Sonic.EXE mod.
  • A God Am I: Downplayed. He does call himself a god, but it's not for the reason you'd expect.
  • Black Eyes of Evil: It kind of fits into his malicious intent, unlike Zeus, who is Laughably Evil.
  • Alien Blood: In his faker form and in his first phase, his eyes bleed a black substance.
  • Body Horror: Not hard to assume given he's Sonic.exe. He has an additional pair of hands inside his body, as seen in his up pose. As the hands' positions change, it almost gives the impression that something's trying to climb out of his mouth. His Slasher Smile is also so wide it exposes his jawbone…although it’s hidden by a shadow.
  • Composite Character: Mighty.zip's depiction in the mod seems to take a few cues from multiple versions of Sonic.exe, fanmade and official.
    • The hands within his mouth likely reference the 2017 remake, where X is described as having shadowy arms emerge from his mouth that he uses to steal his victims’ souls.
    • Mighty.zip overall is a mix of the original character from the 2012 fangame, and the newly created Xenophanes from the upcoming reboot.
  • Evil Laugh:
    • He cackles maniacally after shifting into his first phase to signal the Song Style Shift at the 1/2 mark of "Too Slow".
    • He also lets loose a decidedly different laugh in "Try Harder" after indirectly (and poetically) declaring himself God.
  • The Rival: Word of God has it that Xenophanes and Zephaniah don't always get along well, with Zephaniah even chewing out the player for mistakening them as Xenophanes should they type "SONIC" in the freeplay menu instead of "MIGHTY":
Zephaniah: YOU MUST BE DENSER THAN A BRICK, I HAVE NO QUILLS WITH WHICH TO PRICK, WHILE I CAN HOLD MYSELF ON WALLS, THAT PORCUPINE WOULD SIMPLY FALL, YOU COULDN'T KILL ME WITH MERE SPIKES, AND I DON'T SHARE TROPHIES ON PIKES, SO THINK AGAIN, IF YOU'RE NOT BORED, WHAT IS THE PEN AGAINST THE SWORD?

    Tenma Mighty
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tenma.gif
Voiced by: Philiplol(?)

YOU NEVER STOOD A CHANCE.

"HELLO, BOISENGIRLS! SUCH A PLEASURE TO SEE ALL YOUR LOVELY FACES!"
A Mighty with a more clown motif who wants to spread joy to others. Tenma Mighty is the opponent of the D-Sides remix of "Endless" and one of the playable characters in "God Feast". He also appears in ItsYaBoi_Joseph's D-Sides Sonic.EXE mod.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Like Majin, he is this in the mod. Instead of his own nature being left simply vague, he is instead a joyous armadillo who wants to have fun.
  • Interface Screw: One consistent detail with his song is that he always seems to mess with the chart, and it just cannot stay still, even moving off the screen in some of his turns as well as forming highly tricky patterns needed to be hit in the right order.
  • Perpetual Smiler: He almost always has a smile on his face.

    Zeus
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/god_z.gif
"Let me show you my beautiful world."
A sentient AI once made by the D-Side version of SEGA Corp to help build their games (eventually being abandoned due to some concerns and the staff being full) and the creator of his own universe. Zeus, formerly known as God Z, is a pleasant guy who has no desire to kill anyone, instead wanting to show them around his universe. He's the opponent of the D-Sides remix of "Cycles" and one of the playable characters in "God Feast". He also appears in ItsYaBoi_Joseph's D-Sides Sonic.EXE mod.
  • Adaptational Heroism: Unlike his regular counterpart, Zeus holds no evil intentions at all, instead wishing to give people that enter his realm a tour around his world.
  • Bishounen Line: Downplayed. His Alex Kidd form is slightly less grotesque than his other forms, with less aggressive poses and slower music. That being said, this form has greenish-yellow skin and large brown fingernails, an emaciated body, and most of his poses have a hole open in his chest to show how he's literally heartless.
  • Black Eyes of Crazy: Even more so than Mighty.zip, due to his elongated and unintentionally malicious grins.
  • Slasher Smile: He flashes one that's even wider than Mighty.zip's frequently. It's not enough to count him as a Perpetual Smiler, however, especially in his Vectorman form.
  • Shout-Out: His alternate forms are corrupted versions of Ristar, Vectorman, and Alex Kidd, in that order.
  • Interface Screw: He's an AI, so this is expected. And it is, as starting the song shows a fake error message that the player has downloaded a virus. A few moments later, the screen closes and he later introduces himself, excited to show BF around.

    Sonic.exe/Xenophanes
Voiced by: DastardlyDeacon
The one-and-only titular demon who takes the form of a bloody-eyed version of everyone's lovable hedgehog, who happens to hail from his home mod, he's one of the opponents in "God Feast", the D-Sides version of "Slaybells". This particular version of Xenophanes uses Grimbo's Slaybells attire (which also happens to be Xeno's attire in Missiletoe), making him the appearance of a ripoff of Grimbo.
  • Evil Knockoff: Of Grimbo, except it's flipped: Grimbo is actually the Adaptational Heroism knockoff of Xenophanes, while Xenophanes is the original X.
  • Creepy Souvenir: Ironically, Xenophanes is the one that wears Tails' namesake around his neck like a scarf. This was meant to be Grimbo's appearance in the original Slaybells and also Xeno's appearance in the original Missiletoe.
  • The Rival: Word of God has it that Xenophanes and Zephaniah don't always get along well, with Zephaniah even chewing out the player for mistakening them as Xenophanes should they type "SONIC" in the freeplay menu instead of "MIGHTY".
  • Knocking the Knockoff: Really now?note
  • Shout-Out: Of Grimbo, as he literally wore a ripoff version of Grimbo's Slaybells outfit throughout all of God Feast.

    Lord X
An alternate version of Sonic.exe, as well as the supposed true antagonist of the original story's canon, who debuted in Sonic.exe: Round 2 and was later reworked and expanded upon in Sonic PC Port. In this mod, he is one of the one of the opponents in "God Feast", the D-Sides version of "Slaybells".
  • Odd Friendship: He somehow managed to befriend Zeus.
  • Mythology Gag: His design is taken from the Encore version of him from the D-Side mod.

    Majin
Voiced by: MarStarBro
A frightening Easter Egg found in Sonic CD's Sound Test. In this mod, he is one of the one of the opponents in "God Feast", the D-Sides version of "Slaybells".
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Unlike his vague nature in the original EXE mod, Majin's demeanor here is generally joyous. He is likely meant to be this as Majin's original appearance in Sonic CD was done with the more funky-themed JP boss music in mind.

    Sunky
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sunky_d.gif
The actual Sunky's D-Sides version. He serves as the first opponent in the D-Sides remix of "Milk".
  • Adaptational Name Change: Outside of D-Sides, D-Side Sunky is also known as "Sunk". He is not officially stated to use both names, though.

    Mitee
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mitee_2.gif
"sunky is great i just dont like it when he forcefeeds me cereal"
Sunky's friend. Mitee serves as the second opponent and playable character in the D-Sides remix of "Milk".

    Virtual.ROM
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/virtualromrender.jpeg
He's the guy you don't want to get close to.
"YOU WANT MARIO? I'LL SHOW YOU MARIO! HEHEHAHA!

A spirit who desires nothing more than being alone, enjoying solidarity. If anyone dares to disrespect the one thing he really likes, then he’s got a clever way to get them to leave him alone.

In this mod, as a result of a collab with Friday Night Funkin': Mario's Madness and this mod, he is the opponent of the D-Side remix of "It's A Me".

  • The Hermit: He spends his days inside a Virtual Boy all alone, and that's how he likes it. He doesn't like having visitors.
  • Impostor Forgot One Detail: He’s almost perfectly identical to what the D-Sides variant of Mario should look like, except he has 3 buttons instead of 2.
  • Red and Black and Evil All Over: He resides in a Virtual Boy where this is the color scheme. And while he's far from a serial killer like his counterpart, he's still not a very nice guy.
  • Facial Horror: Unveiling his true form in the second half of his song onwards, Virtual.ROM's face rips open to reveal 3 additional mouthes while his eyes melt inwards.

    Tricky
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tricky_d_side.gif
Voiced by: kloogybaboogey
A psychotic jester wearing a clown mask that hides his missing face. Tricky is the opponent of the D-Sides remix of "Improbable Outset" and plans to be the opponent in the D-Sides remixes of "Madness", "Hellclown" and "Expurgation".

    Zardy
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_sides_zardy.gif
"Long have you fled my scythe, little one."
Voiced by: kloogybaboogey
The grim reaper himself. Zardy is an opponent in the D-Sides remix of "Foolhardy", where he faces Skid and Pump.

    Spoinky Boingy
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/spoinky_boingy.gif
Voiced by: kloogybaboogey
An arm and hand on top of…whatever the fuck this thing is. It is the opponent in "And".

Upcoming Opponents

    Soul Ray, Fang, and Maria
Mighty's best friend Ray, his arch-rival Fang, and Shadow's best friend Maria, who were claimed as Mighty.zip's victims. All three of them were brought back from the dead for "Soul Clash", the D-side version of "Triple Trouble". They also appear in ItsYaBoi_Joseph's D-Sides Sonic.EXE mod.
  • Uncertain Doom: Fang. It appears he died, not by Mighty.ZIP, but by shooting himself in the head, although this has not yet been confirmed.
  • Eye Scream: Ray and Fang are missing their eyes. Ray in particular looks like he had his eyes messily torn out.
  • Undead Child: Ray was killed at only 10 years old.

    Tails Doll
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_side_tails_doll.png
Can you feel the sunshine?
A robotic doll built by Maria that takes the shape of Tails, introduced in the D-Sides version of Sonic R. Tails Doll plans to be the opponent in the D-Sides remix of "Sunshine".

    Avatar
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/avatar_7001.jpg
Customize to your hearts content
A blank slate from the flash game Sonic Character Creator. Avatar/Blank is planned to be the opponent in the D-Sides remix of "Too Fest", replacing Sanic.EXE.

    Bluescreen
A malevolent computer virus bent on taking game code. Bluescreen is the D-Sides version of Fatal Error and plans to be the opponent in the D-Sides remix of "Fatality". Not much is known about him other than he's not based on Mighty.

    Super Scourge
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_7050.jpeg
Hail To The King Baby.
An evil version of Sonic hailing from Moebius, he's set to fight Sonic in the D-Sides remix of "Chaos".

    Bowser
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2023_11_17_75432_am.png
Showtime!
Mario and Luigi's arch enemy and the King Of The Koopas. Bowser plans to be the opponent of the D-Sides remix of "Koopa Armada".
Badass Cape: Bowser now sports one that he wears on occasion.

    King Boo
A floating skull (also going by the name "Big Boo" due to his size) introduced as the true antagonist of the D-Sides version of Luigi's Mansion. King Boo plans to fight Luigi in the D-Sides remix of "Boo Blitz".

    Amy Rose
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dsideamyteaser.jpg
Have no fear, Amy Rose is here!
Sonic's self-proclaimed girlfriend and fangirl. Amy plans to be an opponent in "Cartoon Crossover", the D-Sides remix of "Cross Console Clash".

    Matt
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2023_11_17_75933_am.png
Hope you're ready.
Yup, it's him. Matt from Wii Sports, looking less sporty than usual. He plans to be the opponent in the D-Sides remix of "Sporting" where he'll face off against Pico.
Adaptational Job Change: Matt takes the appearance of the scientist role from Miitopia.

    Orange
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0130_0.jpeg
From evil impostor to happy crewmate.
Cyan's husband. Orange is the D-Sides version of Yellow and is planned to be an opponent in the D-Sides remixes of "Mando" and "D'Low".

    White
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2023_11_17_35842_pm.png
That's one big Impostor.
A huge hulking, half melting impostor with a giant glass container on his back. White is the D-Sides version of Black and plans to be an opponent in the D-Sides remixes of "Double Kill" and "Defeat".

    Lime
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2023_11_17_40118_pm.png
Prepare for trouble and make it double!
A half melting Impostor in a lab coat. Lime is the D-Sides version of White and plans to be an opponent in the D-Sides remix of "Oversight" and "Double Kill".

    Blue
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0130_05.jpeg
Well, here comes Tweedle-Dumb, or should we say, Tweedle-DumbER.
An incredibly stupid half melting impostor with a tank on his back, wearing businessman's suit, and having a gun in hand. Blue is the D-Sides version of Red and plans to be an opponent in the D-Sides remixes of "Sussus Moogus", "Sabotage" and "Meltdown".

    Maroon
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0130_4.jpeg
Much smarter than his friend, but still hotheaded.
Blue's friend and a half melting impostor in a detective's suit. Maroon is the D-Sides version of Green and plans to be an opponent in the D-Sides remixes of "Sussus Toogus", "Lights Down", "Reactor" and "Ejected".

    Red
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0130_49.jpeg
Don't even try to greet this bastard with his shit-eating grin.
A half melting impostor in a tuxedo, a backwards cap and a baseball bat. Red is the D-Sides version of Maroon and plans to be an opponent in the D-Sides remixes of "Ashes", "Magmatic" and "Boiling Point".

    Brown
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0130.jpeg
Even crewmates can be deranged.
A deranged, psychopathic mini-crewmate. Brown is the D-Sides version of Gray and is planned to be an opponent in the D-Sides remixes of "Delusion", "Blackout", "Neurotic" and "Pretender".

    Black
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0178_9.jpeg
That is one torn-up-looking crewmate.
A black crewmate who was killed in electrical. Black is the D-Sides version of Brown and is set to be the opponent in the D-Sides remix of "Esculent".
  • Adapted Out: There were 2 official attachments on D-Sides, one confirming the story mode cast, and the others confirming the Freeplay cast. However, out of all the Freeplay cast in the second attachment, only Black, Blue Mungus, Jelqer and Warchief were confirmed.

    Blue Mungus
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0634_5.jpeg
Uh oh…that can't be good.
SHUT THE FUCK UP BITCH!
A version of one of the most famous Among Us OCs of all time, largely given that his creator was well known in both the FNF Community and the Among Us Community prior to passing away 17 days after Vs. Impostor's release. Blue Mungus is the D-Sides version of Red Mungus and is set to be one of the 3 opponents in the D-Sides remix of "Voting Time".
  • Adapted Out: There were 2 official attachments on D-Sides, one confirming the story mode cast, and the others confirming the Freeplay cast. However, out of all the Freeplay cast in the second attachment, only Black, Blue Mungus, Jelqer and Warchief were confirmed.

    Warchief
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0634_54.jpeg
Fuck.
We are going to make Red Mungus fly.
Another famous Among Us OC created by the same creator as Red Mungus. This particular version of Warchief is set to be one of the 3 opponents in the D-Sides remix of "Voting Time".
  • Adaptational Badass: Warchief goes from a purple chief officer crewmate to a Sheriff crewmate in the mod.
  • Adapted Out: There were 2 official attachments on D-Sides, one confirming the story mode cast, and the others confirming the Freeplay cast. However, out of all the Freeplay cast in the second attachment, only Black, Blue Mungus, Jelqer and Warchief were confirmed.

    Jelqer
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0634_3.jpeg
The gleeful crewmate to the grumpy one.
Warchief's friend. This particular version of Jelqer is set to be one of the 3 opponents in the D-Sides remix of "Voting Time".
  • Adaptational Badass: Jelqer goes from a simple cowboy Rose crewmate to a bona-fide badass Plague Doctor.
  • Adapted Out: There were 2 official attachments on D-Sides, one confirming the story mode cast, and the others confirming the Freeplay cast. However, out of all the Freeplay cast in the second attachment, only Black, Blue Mungus, Jelqer and Warchief were confirmed.

    Hex
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2023_11_22_83128_am.png
Surf's up my dudes!
A waiter built in the 90's who prefers to surf. Hex is planned to be in the 3.0 hotfix where he'll fight Miku in the D-Sides remix of "Dunk".

    Palloswamp
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dsidespallomud.jpg
The Sandcastle Pokemon, looking a lot more swampy than before.
A sandcastle like Pokemon found in swamplands. Palloswamp is the D-Sides replacement of Hypno and D-Sides version of Pallosand and plans to be the opponent in the D-Sides remix of "Lost Cause".

    YX999
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yx999newdsidesdesign.png
That mouth should not be there.
A monstrous impostor of Yoshi with a mouth for eyes. YX999 is the D-Sides replacement of PS135 and is planned to be the opponent in "Topsy Turvy", the D-Sides remix of "MARIO IS MISSING".
  • Eyeless Face: His mouth is where Yoshi's eyes would be, leaving him without any eyes at all.
  • Glitch Entity: Much like PS135, he's based off a glitch. In his case, it's a glitch in Yoshi's Island where the player can position a one life Yoshi in lava next to a switch. After pressing the switch, the player can then die with zero lives left and the game will underflow the life value to "999".

    Benson
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2023_11_24_81335_am.png
Mordecai and Rigby! Do your job or you're fired!
A water cooler that happens to be Mordecai and Rigby's boss. Benson plans to be the opponent in the D-Sides remix of "Unemployed".

    Hank J. Wimbleton
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/newdsideshank.jpg
It's high noon...
The main protagonist of the Madness Combat series himself. Hank plans to be the opponent in the D-Sides remix of "Accelerant" and a playable character in V6.

    Shaggy Rogers
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2023_11_27_85919_am.png
Like, what's up man?
The usually cowardly member of Mystery Inc. Shaggy is set to be the opponent in the upcoming D-Sides remix of "Kaio-Ken".
  • Mythology Gag / Adaptational Job Change: Apparently, Shaggy's appearance seems deliberately based on Fred Jones, but it's possible he also replaces his usual role in this AU of the Scooby Doo franchise.

    Skarlet Bunny
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dsidesskarletbunny.png
Blue suits her well
A street artist with rabbit ears and a spray can. Skarlet Bunny is an upcoming character to D-Sides more than likely appearing in the D-Sides remixes of her songs.
  • Adaptational Modesty: Her normal counterpart really only has a crop top, short shorts, a hat, a jacket and shoes. In stark contrast, this version has an actual shirt, and her legs are completely covered.
  • Ironic Name: In this version, she isn’t red (aka scarlet), but rather cyan.

    Cesar Fever
The D-sides version of CesarFever's persona. Cesar is an upcoming opponent to D-Sides more than likely appearing in the D-Sides remixes of his songs.

    Torrent
Oops! It looks like your data is…encrypted.
A computer program that ends up battling Boyfriend. Torrent is planned to be the opponent in the D-Sides remix of "Sensory Overload".

    Whitty
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_sides_whitty.png
I'm gonna light you up like dynamite!
A living stick of dynamite with a greaser motif. Whitty is an upcoming character to D-Sides more than likely appearing in the D-Sides remixes of "his songs".

    Psychic
Some sort of anomaly who is friends with Daddy Dearest, having no knowledge of Boyfriend whatsoever, that is, until he shows up at the mansion he guards, where he finds something is terribly wrong inside Boyfriend's head. Psychic is an upcoming character to D-Sides more than likely appearing in the D-Sides remixes of his songs.

    Dusk
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dsidesskyofficial.jpg
And who might you be?
A girl wearing green and purple that's obsessed with herself. Dusk is the D-Sides version of Sky and an upcoming character, more than likely appearing in the D-Sides remixes of her songs.

    Annie
The mostly self-contained OC of Atsuover as well as her most common sona used. Annie is an upcoming character to D-Sides set to debut in the D-Sides remix of "Take A Swig Of This!"

    Super Horror Waluigi
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/78b055cf_52df_45d4_a7a6_ac729df480be.png
An older D-side version of Super Horror Mario also created by Marco Antonio himself, Super Horror Waluigi (also referred to as "Waluigi.zip") was initially planned for the Mario's Madness collab before being replaced by Virtual.ROM. But now to complete the Mario's Madness collab, he will be added in the 3.0 Hotfix update, soon to debut in the old version of "It's-A Me".
  • My Friends... and Zoidberg: A very rare case of a Waluigi EXE, with others being based either on Mario, Luigi and Wario.
  • Alternate Universe: Super Horror Waluigi's upcoming encounter is completely disconnected from the events of Virtual.ROM's encounter with BF.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: You'd be forgiven if you saw Marco's first idea of Horror Waluigi. As the D-Side designs for Wario and Waluigi were likely not created at the time, his Sprite is actually inaccurate to the real D-Sides Waluigi, with his clothes and hat being pink, his overalls being purple, and his eyes green.
  • Bloodless Carnage: His eyes are not shown to have Tears of Blood.

    GB
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2024_03_02_70858_am.png
It's his show, you're just in it.
Voiced by: (???)

"THE GOLDEN COINS WON'T SAVE YOU NOW!"
A sentient malicious AI that manifests inside an abandoned tape of the D-Sides version of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! GB is an upcoming opponent to D-Sides set to debut in the D-Sides remix of "Golden Land".
  • Imposter Forgot One Detail: In an even more major way than Virtual.ROM. While Virtual was near identical to D-Sides Mario with the only difference being that he has 3 buttons, GB is virtually a completely different person from D-Sides Mario, with the only shared element being a square hat. He has white shoes with dark purple soles, a purple shirt with a pink line pattern, three buttons instead of two, a yellow emblem on his hat, and a white collar.
  • Adaptational Deviation: Just read Imposter Forgot One Detail above.
  • The Fourth Wall Will Not Protect You: Normal GB was already this, and D-Sides GB is no less of an exception, even more major than normal GB. He resides in what seems to be a lost tape of a TV series, further emphasizing this, as GB can now interact with anyone who plays the tape he's in.

    I HATE YOU Luigi
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2024_01_07_82939_am.png
You thought Koopa worked alone?
A version of Luigi who joined Bowser out of bitter envy towards his brother, leading to a haunting chain of events that resulted in him being burned alive, turning him into a living corpse. IHY Luigi is an upcoming character to D-Sides and plans to be the opponent in the D-Sides remixes of "OH GOD NO" and "Charred" ("I HATE YOU").

    WX
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wx__official_d_side_mx__by_amytheshark202_dgptyh1_fullview.jpeg
The Lean and Mean evil Wario.
Voiced by: (???)

"Hey there, short stuff."
A freakish monster taking the form of Wario, seemingly residing in a copy of the D-Sides version of Wario's Woods. WX is the D-Sides version of MX and plans to be the opponent in the D-Sides remixes of "Powerdown" and "Game Over".
  • Adaptational Deviation: While FrazzDude already has a D-Sides equivalent to MX (LX), WX stands out as an entirely different variant altogether, separate from LX.
  • Fat Bastard: Wario was already this in the mainline Mario Sports games. But even he had his standards, that is, he would never go as far as to kill anyone. Instead of that, WX is larger and also has no problem with killing anybody,
  • Would Hurt a Child: Allegedly, one of his would-be victims is Todd, a young boy trapped inside his game.

Scrapped Opponents

    Usaguro/Maddie
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_7052.jpeg
The official D-Sides variant of NeedleM0use/Sarah Henderson intended to be a part of the 3.0 update with her song, "Swing-A-Way" (the D-Sides remix of "Round-A-Bout"). Maddie was scrapped at the request of NeedleM0use's creator, ShutUpJojo.
  • Development Gag: Despite being removed from the mod, she still appears among the paintings in "God Feast".
  • Adaptational Name Change: Her name's been changed from Needlem0use and Sarah to Usaguro and Maddie

    Luther
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_7052_5.jpeg
The official D-Sides variant of Luther Artwight intended to be a part of the 3.0 update with his song, the D-Sides remix of" Her World". However, Luther’s design was not finalized and only unfinished concept art is left. Like Maddie, he was scrapped at the request of NeedleM0use's creator, ShutUpJojo.

    Cosmo.EXT
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_7054_1.jpeg
The official D-Sides variant of Sally_ALT, intended to be her replacement in the Sonic.EXE crossover but was scrapped when VS Sonic.EXE got cancelled. She would have fought Tails in the D-Sides remix of "Goddess".
  • Development Gag: Despite being removed from the mod, she still appears among the paintings in "God Feast".

    SH Tails
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/untitled44_20231124153441.png
WHY?! HAHAHAHAHA! THEY WERE IMPOSTORS, SONIC! THEY DIDN'T LOVE YOU! I LOVED YOU! YOU THINK THEY WERE YOUR FRIENDS?! I WAS YOUR BEST FRIEND, SONIC! DON'T YOU GET IT, SONIC'S BEST FRIEND IS TAILS, ME!
Voiced by: Mick "RicePirate" Laurer

That's it…I get it now: If tails is Sonic's best friend, and I'm NOT your BEST FRIEND…THEN YOU AREN'T SONIC!
Sonic's self proclaimed best friend, this incarnation of Tails was introduced as Sonic's sidekick by SEGA-Corp so they could keep up with profiting trends. However, Tails took their partnership a bit too far, killing off anybody who Sonic could call his best friend, before going into hiding upon being exposed as the obsessive monster in fox's clothing that he really was.

This particular version of SH Tails in the mod was planned as one of the many characters in the Sonic.EXE Crossover, but was scrapped when the latter mod was cancelled. D-Sides SH Tails would've been fought in the D-Sides remix of "Mania".

  • Ax-Crazy: He is absolutely unhinged, as shown by his facial expressions and multicolored irises, and is dead set on killing anyone who dares to think they're Sonic's "best friend".
  • Badass Normal: He's the only opponent in the mod outside of Normal Sonic and Starved to not be an Eldritch Abomination of any sort, but his unhinged nature doesn't make him any less dangerous than any of them (except Sunky).
  • Berserk Button: DON'T! Get close! To Sonic. He can only have one best friend, and that's Tails.
  • Cold-Blooded Torture:
    • At the end of the "Secret Histories" video, he's shown to have kidnapped a random man, forcing him to act like Sonic or face death from a Swiss-Army Weapon. The kidnapped man clearly doesn't appreciate this.
    • "There's Something About Amy" shows he's not above psychological torture, either, as he's very heavily implied to have not only changed her appearance with her surgery, but also messed around with Amy's mind as well. Once he tricks Amy into killing Sonic, he outright admits that Sonic reciprocated her feelings, and that he's the only one that can lead her to the real Sonic. By the end of it, she's become the obsessive Yandere the fandom knows her for.
  • Crazy Jealous Guy: While the canon Tails is perfectly fine with Sonic having other friends, this Tails absolutely cannot grasp that concept, killing off anybody who dares threaten his position as Sonic's best friend.
  • Evil Genius: Considering it's an evil Tails we're talking about, it's not hard to expect. He messes around with Knuckles' phone, Shadow's hoverboots and Amy's hammer to make them explode and kill their users, he's developed tech that allows him to move between universes, and he can give Amy excellent plastic surgery, albeit with skin tearing here and there.
  • Fat Bastard: After going into hiding, he's shown to be much, much girthier than before. In the mod, though, he mostly just has his potbelly from the rest of the video.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: He only committed atrocious acts of murder because they threatened his relationship with Sonic. At least... at first. While he does still kill any of SEGA-Corp's mandated friends, he now tortures random civilians in an attempt to find the "real" Sonic, and alters their corpses with their valuables and paint to (poorly) make them resemble his "best friend".
  • Hate Sink: Despite being unaffiliated with the other opponents of the mod, he manages to be even less likable than any of them, even though most of the baddies are sociopathic Eldritch Abominations, by virtue of being a clingy, narcissistic Jerkass. Makes sense, as this Tails was made as a negative parody of the Sonic franchise whereas the others are simple fanworks.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: He thinks he's this with Sonic, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Sonic only put up with him because SEGA-Corp said they needed him around for profit, and he said right to his face that they were never friends upon Amy finally outing him. Tails' reaction... wasn't what they expected.
  • Make It Look Like an Accident: Both Claws and Shadow died from malfunctions in their tech, and Amy would have suffered the same fate if Tails had enough time to tamper with her own. Claws' phone, Shadow's hover boots, and Amy's hammer were all rigged to blow up by Tails himself when they got too close to Sonic.
  • Money, Dear Boy: In-Universe. He never quite caught the memo that this was the sole reason he was brought on as Sonic's sidekick.
  • Murder the Hypotenuse: Non-romantic example. He's killed almost everybody who came close to stealing his best friendship with Sonic, only failing to kill Amy when her act of giving herself up was a trap. That said, he's capable of recruiting another version of Amy to help him look for the "real" Sonic.

    TGT Sonic
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_7056_7.jpeg
Yep. It's him. TGT Sonic was a part of the 3.0 update with the D-Sides remix of "No Villains". However, he got scrapped in the 3.0 update after the Role-Ending Misdemeanor with Hooda The Antagonist, resulting in the crossover being cancelled.

    EXE
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0018.png
YOU'RE TOO SLOW
Yep. It's another version of EXE. D-Sides EXE was planned for the Now-cancelled Sonic.EXE Crossover to be fought in the D-side versions of "Faker" and "Black Sun", but he was ultimately scrapped due to the Revie controversy, along with FalseCow being exposed for defamation (which is now resolved) and with KubiCorg being outed for pedophilia as well as leaking Revie's personal information and other heinous controversies.
  • Body Horror: Much like EXE, but different. Unlike EXE, instead of his eyes melting inwards, D-Sides EXE's eyes merge into one eerie eye reminiscent of Chaotix.
  • Clothing Appendage: As seen in his Black Sun form, his shoes are very much a part of his body, as they actually meld into his legs.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: He was made early on into the Vs. Sonic.exe crossover, so he’s based on Knuckles instead of Mighty.
  • Adaptational Name Change: Besides "ZIP", the community also calls him "Fraud", a reference to EXE's other name ("Faker"). Neither one is official.

    Claws
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0638_4.jpeg
Gee, I haven't seen any animals for miles! RoBUTTnik must be working overtime.
Man, you really like scrambling your own plans, don’t’cha-
The Green Blur himself, not some demon that’s possessing him or taking his form to trick his comrades for once. He is the scrapped protagonist of the Starved Continuity, where he faces off with the doctor herself and his new arch-nemesis driven mad by his hunger for wildlife and Mobians. Unfortunately for him, this would be his last duel with the doctor...

Claws was set to be the opponent in the D-Sides remix of "Prey", but, for a more stylistic choice, he was instead replaced by Sonic…who was also scrapped and rebranded as a playable character in Chaos. "Prey" itself would eventually get scrapped due to controversy with FalseCow and KubiCorg as well as copyright claims by DumbieDumbie.

    Tikal
Claws' second best friend. She would have been playable in the D-Sides remix of "Fight or Flight", but was scrapped due to the DumbieDumbie controversy.
  • And Now for Someone Completely Different: Tikal's encounter with Starved is completely disconnected from the events of this D-Sides creepypasta.
  • The Smurfette Principle: If she was in the mod, she would’ve been one of the only 6 females in the mod, alongside Girlfriend, Mommy Mearest, Chica, Maria and Amy. Of them, she’s one of the only 3 characters that are based solely on a Sonic character.

    Maria
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0638_8.jpeg
That abomination requested their meal, and I will be the one to cook it up for them.
The female doctor herself, now finding herself in a predicament where she has no option but to serve Starved and enact as their waitress. She would have been fought in the D-Sides remix of "Prey", where she attempts to capture Claws, but was scrapped due to the Revie and Dumbie controversies.
  • And Now for Someone Completely Different: Maria's encounter with Starved is completely disconnected from the events of this D-Sides creepypasta.
  • The Smurfette Principle: If she was in the mod, she would’ve been one of the only 6 females in the mod, alongside Girlfriend, Mommy Mearest, Chica, Amy and Tikal. Of them, she’s one of the only 3 characters that are based solely on a Sonic character.

    Starved
An AU of Chaos driven mad by his insatiable hunger for mobians. He would have been the opponent in the D-Sides remixes of "Prey" and "Fight Or Flight", but was scrapped due to now-resolved minor controversies surrounding DumbieDumbie.
  • Development Gag: Despite being removed from the mod, he still appears among the paintings in "God Feast".

    Mark Heathcliff
The main protagonist of Mandela Catalogue and the first victim of Gabriel. A D-Sides variant of Mark was planned for the D-Sides remix of "Think", but he ended up getting scrapped due to the invokedRole-Ending Misdemeanor with Alex Kister.

    Cesar Torres
Mark's friend. A D-Sides variant of Cesar was planned for the D-Sides remix of "Think", but, like Mark, he ended up getting scrapped due to the invokedRole-Ending Misdemeanor with Alex Kister.

    SBSPM Squidward
A version of Squidward from The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie who was mind-controlled by Plankton in the latter's heinous scheme for the Krabby Patty formula. He was intended to be fought in the D-Sides remix of "Doomsday", but due to controversy with BetaSheep, he has been scrapped.

    Bootleg Spongebob
A rather scary-looking Spongebob with bloodshot eyes and no mouth. No art was made for him, but he did get a mock-up preview of what presumably is for the D-Sides remix of "Dumped". Like with SBSPM Squidward, Bootleg Spongebob was scrapped due to controversy surrounding BetaSheep, and as of the official revival of his mod of origin, there are still no plans to add him back in a future update.

    Normal Sonic
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_1743_2.jpeg
A completely normal version of Sonic that would've been the opponent in the D-Sides remix of "Personel", but was scrapped due to the controversy surrounding Adam McHummus (which is now resolved) and JesterFrog's ongoing controversies, as well as a lack of ideas.
  • Development Gag: Despite being removed from the mod, he still appears among the paintings in "God Feast".
  • Decomposite Character: One key detail is that his planned design is not what you'd expect. He is exactly how Sonic appears in the regular series (albeit with cyan fur instead of blue fur), and he's not based on the D-Sides design for Sonic.

    Mr. Briney
A monstrous human-like creature that supposedly kills and consumes the bodies of trainers that lose against him. Mr. Briney would have been the opponent of the D-Sides remix of "Brimstone", but was scrapped due to the controversy surrounding TheInnuendo.

    Regiflow
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0793.jpeg
Regiflow, Regiflare and Regiflora
One of Mr. Briney's 3 Pokémon as well as an octopus-like Legendary Water-Type Pokémon that dwells in the Hoenn, Sinnoh and Galar regions, as well as Gengar's replacement in the D-Sides universe. Regiflow would have been an opponent of the D-Sides remix of "Brimstone", but, like Mr. Briney, it was scrapped due to the controversy surrounding TheInnuendo.
  • Mythology Gag: Regiflow is based on a fanmade piece of artwork on DeviantArt posted by a Pokémon artist.
  • Adaptational Badass: Compared to the fanmade artwork of its origin, Regiflow in this mod is far more bulkier (and subsequently stronger) than its base counterpart.

    Regiflare
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0793.jpeg
Regiflow, Regiflare and Regiflora
One of Mr. Briney's 3 Pokémon as well as a massive, hulking Legendary Fire-Type Pokémon that dwells in the Hoenn, Sinnoh and Galar regions, as well as Muk's replacement in the D-Sides universe. Regiflare would have been an opponent of the D-Sides remix of "Brimstone", but, like Mr. Briney, it was scrapped due to the controversy surrounding TheInnuendo.
  • Mythology Gag: Regiflare seems to be deliberately based on Regifire from the regular Pokémon games.

    Regiflora
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0793.jpeg
Regiflow, Regiflare and Regiflora
One of Mr. Briney's 3 Pokémon as well as a vase-like Legendary Grass-Type Pokémon that dwells in the Hoenn, Sinnoh and Galar regions, as well as The White Hand's replacement in the D-Sides universe. Regiflare would have been an opponent of the D-Sides remix of "Brimstone", but, like Mr. Briney, it was scrapped due to the controversy surrounding TheInnuendo.
  • Mythology Gag: Regiflora is based on a fanmade piece of artwork submitted to X/Twitter by a Pokémon fan.
  • Adaptational Badass: Compared to the fanmade artwork of its origin, Regiflora in this mod is far more buff than its base counterpart.

Unused Characters

    Cheater
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0010.jpeg
A joke version of Dream based on Zeus' Alex Kidd form that is found in the files, and can also be hacked into the D-side remix of Cycles via debug mode. It was meant to be hidden in the files as a joke.
