Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Ask the Tropers is for:
- • General questions about the wiki, how it works, and how to do things.
- • Reports of problems with wiki articles, or requests for help with wiki articles.
- • Reports of misbehavior or abuse by other tropers.
Ask the Tropers is not for:

An edit war is still raging on the Zero Punctuation Dethroning Moment page. I know no one cares, but I felt the need to report it anyway.

qqq has been trying to recreate Fanfic Authors and, when that got cut again, edit warring author sections into the Fanfic subpages.

Is there a limit to the size of P Ms?
I need to send what turns out to be a very descriptive Wall of Text to someone (for a future RP), and I'm wondering if I should just spoiler it all and post it in the Sandbox instead.

shfkdioud made a bad edit on Beyond the Impossible. I removed it, because it was badly formattted, had bad grammar, and was phrased as discussion. He used the Natterfly button to send me a pm, and when I explained that he had misused the button, he called me a moron.
Might I please solicit an administrative boot to the arse?

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle page — would you think this trope on the page qualifies for Made Of Win?
So Good We Mentioned It Twice - Mind Screw, MINDSCREW! Issues repeated two to the power of two times two plus another two across this page (and mentioned again on some others) that does not include Lampshading it once more. And that's precisely why it's So Good We Mentioned It Twice.

Hope this is okay to ask here.
I tried typing in Final Fantasy X 2 to link to the works page for that game, and was redirected to Final Fantasy 10 instead. And then I tried Final Fantasy X-2 but that didn't work at all. Is there something up with those links or is it just one of those days?

If I was hoping to make a tvtropes page for a fake TV show, kind of like the Avatar And The Airbending Fellowship Of Vampire Slayers, would I be allowed to do so? Would it go on the darth wiki, or as a troper? Is it just not. allowed. Period?
I ask as there's a prompt on a meme I frequent that's asked for a fic that would be a mock TV show, and all I could think of was how great a mock-tvtropes page would be... But I am totally willing to forgo it if it's against the rules. *

I haven't been posting in it, but I saw there's something of an edit war going on in Misplaced Nationalism, and I'm not positive about this, but I'd same the reference to it in Maki P 's page is probably not the best idea.

There seems to be a minor edit war in the Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Nothing big or alaraming, but people are constantly fighting, constantly changing the caption.

nancyajram12 has blanked the Love Tropes index and put this statement in its place: ilmurov has a new style.
I'll be replacing the format of the index back onto the page, but I just thought that I'd let you all know about it.

Quick question: after some editing in the YMMV page for Dissidia Final Fantasy (which Komodin edited out because it was just a whine of mine - and he's right, mind you), I noticed there's an entry for The Wesley stating that Tifa has become one because the developers stated that the sequel wouldn't have been made if she wasn't in.
When I wrote the same (exactly the same, and for the same reasons) in Tifa's section in the character sheet (see "Newcomers" in Warriors Of Cosmos) weeks earlier, it had been edited out, if you check the page history and pay attention. The question is, why?
There's a reason I could have been wrong before?
It appears that we got another troper with substandard grammar - redjirachi.
