Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.I made a trope page for I-Mockery. Does anyone but me remember that site?
The Protomen enhanced my life.I remember that site! I loved their articles making fun of ROM hacks of games.
My favorite articles were recaps of out-there movies, like Cool As Ice, the 94 Fantastic Four movie, Three Dev Adam. I also liked the toy reviews.

The Protomen enhanced my life. There's a lot more Harvest Moon fanfics out there than I thought there'd be!
The Protomen enhanced my life. You mean the game series? Yeah, it's honestly really shocking. It's great though! It shows the series is loved!
Although I'd like to see more Rune Factory fanfics...
I've discovered a weird trick to curb my anxiety while I sleep: A sleeping mask.
Confession time: Even as an adult, I still tend to think there's monsters in my room when I sleep. Even though I know damn well that they don't exist and I'm perfectly safe, my anxiety disorder says "fuck that!" and I spend the night cowering under my covers. Usually it's triggered by consuming content about creepy, morbid things (I'm a Nightmare Fetishist, sue me), which doesn't freak me out at all during the day. Instead, it seems like the freaking out is delayed until I go to bed, and even then it's only things that invoked the Uncanny Valley.
Well, I originally got the sleeping mask because light from things like my phone, my alarm clock, and my roommates using the vanity just outside my bedroom door was one of many things that was making it hard for me to go to sleep. As a random side effect, I found out that I was also less worried about "monsters", because it somehow managed to trick my brain. I couldn't see them, therefore they weren't there, and therefore it was okay. Sleep? Sleep.
While it hasn't made falling asleep any easier (that's still a hassle), at least it's one less thing to stress about at night. Oh, and now I can consume creepy content to my heart's desire without repercussions!
Hey how you doing well I'm doing just fine I lied I'm dying insideSleep masks are very cool. :)
I feel kind of tempted to add Arizona to my list of destinations in my fourth vacation story, thanks to the Grand Canyon.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.I'm trying to appreciate Korean Webtoons, but most of them are either about:
And none of those topics hold any interest for me at all.

Novel progress: The Adroan (110k words), Yume no Hime (81k), The Pigeon Witch (40k)I took an accent quiz online to try to pin down what my accent was. It concluded I was from the Midland, or Atlanta or Dallas or a whole bunch of other cities I've never been to, let alone lived in. Another one said I had a New England accent. Lol okay.
Sounds like your average K-Drama tropes to me.

It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.I had so much fun watching the Disney Parks Christmas Parade that I changed my signature.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.I ended up posting something in a thread, trying to point out things I didn't agree with in the hopes that we could discuss it and maybe fix up the things I saw issues with.
I tried to explain myself, and I had a good-sized post.
Cue the people afterwards just ignoring me, not even acknowledging my post.
I'm not sure if it's deliberate or they just have nothing to say. All I know is that I'm a tad frustrated. What if they just keep ignoring me?

I dunno, make sure your on the right topic for a start
New theme music also a boxYeah, I was. And I finally got a response! Someone actually agrees with me!
Reading the Defied example from Bond One-Liner ("I'm not making a crack here, I'm not James Bond."), my mind immediately went to imagining the acid tank (the example involved Bob throwing a mook into an acid pool and saying "Maybe he would have preferred the basics.") slowly making glass-cracking sounds before breaking open and spill the contents everywhere.
Not sure what that says about my brain process.
I went into Bath & Body Works for the first time in well over a year. They were having their semi-annual sale, so why not?
First off, wow it's changed. It may as well just be a candle store at this point.
Second, I bought a Wallflower because my school's housing doesn't allow candles (not that I wanted a candle anyway). I got Cucumber Melon, because I like it and it's the least offensive (a.k.a doesn't give me a walloping headache) scent B&BW sells besides linen.
Third, it was a mistake. I have a weirdly excellent sense of smell and I'm sensitive to strong fumes, but I didn't listen to my sinuses this time. But hey, I least I got an air freshener that doesn't trigger a headache.
Hey how you doing well I'm doing just fine I lied I'm dying insideSpeaking of stores, while I was at work today, a lady sternly told her young son to stay near her because they were about to enter the parking lot. She makes a good point. What is it about parking lots that makes kids crazy?

Japan sure does have a thing for antagonists who are politicians hulking out.
Wait a second: How on earth did I even get here?
