Suggestion: Five Man Band

Between the trope becoming a Trope in Aggregate and the recent cutting of The Chick, it feels odd to have a page image that both adheres to the old roles and only represents one work. I would like to suggest the creation of a collage, preferrably of 3-4 works from different media. I have found a few images that could be potential parts of this hypothetical collage:

• Anime:
  • The main team◊ from Digimon Adventure 02
  • The bounty hunters◊ from Outlaw Star
• Live-Action TV:
  • Torchwood Three◊ from Torchwood
  • The Mythbusters◊ from MythBusters
• Western Animation: Team Sonic◊ from Sonic Boom

Any of those are fine by me, though it does somewhat amuse me that all of them seem to (accidentally) be following the old gender ratio (of no more than 2 girls to a band)

I prefer something like the current "lampshading" their roles, but I'll take any of these. Don't think a collage is needed.

Well, the point is that Five-Man Band no longer has defined roles. Using a lampshading image is actively misleading.

The old image was talking about the trope the way it used to be on the site.

I guess the images on the OP are fine.

For whatever it's worth, the current image is an edit produced by a previous IP thread. The original unaltered image uses The Heart, not The Chick:

I do agree we'll be needing a collage, since this is a Trope in Aggregate.

If The Chick was cut, why not go back to the original version that uses The Heart? I prefer 6 over the suggestions, as they look JAFAAC to me.

Five-Man Band isn't just a group of five people, it's about how five different personalities or characterizations play off each other and make different dynamics and I think it's going to be hard to illustrate that concept. While FMB no longer requires defined roles, the "classic lineup" is one of the listed setups in the trope description, so I don't think an image of that is misleading.

I do, because people still don't know that these roles fell out of style. People are still leaving up misuse all over the wiki because they've had the 5 roles ingrained in their brains. I've had to repeatedly remind people that these examples can in fact be cut. Perpetuating that with the image means that anyone who clicks on the page and doesn't read the description will likely assume that the five-role format is still how things should be done.

Pull current regardless of replacement for the reasons stated.

I personally like 1.1 the most. Very visually distinct.

I think the OP is one single suggestion, not 3.

I don't mind using a collage myself, as we did in Power Trio, although it'd be better to show the characters actually interact with each other and not just stand in a row.

This was about as team-y as I could get them within reasonable composition boundaries. Pretty much every cool and dynamic pic I could find was in portrait orientation (or, in the cases of Chip 'n Dale and The Bad Guys had a member who pretty much vanished at 350 wide), which doesn't work that well for collages here.
