Not sure if this one requires consensus either, but there's one entry that needs an error, from Monster.Web Animation:

• Animator vs. Animation: The Dark Lord was created with the intentions of protecting the Animator's computer from dangers such as The Chosen One...

The problem here is the usage of the words "such as", as it implies it was created to fend off any threats that might affect the animator. In reality, The Dark Lord was created specifically to fight off The Chosen One. The Animator even considers naming him "The Chosen One's enemy", and his sole programming condition was "mission.The_Dark_Lord = Destroy(The_Chosen_One)"

Here's a rewrite taking that into account, rest of the entry stays the same:

• Animator vs. Animation: The Dark Lord was created by the Animator with the intent of stopping The Chosen One's attack on his computer...

Just letting everyone know real quick that the Drafts pages are now open again!

I'm gonna get my writeups done as well:

• The Hobbit trilogy: Smaug the Golden is an ancient, powerful dragon and the last of his kind in Middle Earth. A brutal monster who exterminated the entire human kingdoms of Erebor and Dale, with countless humans and dwarves dead, Smaug is secretly in alliance with the Dark Lord Sauron with full intent to ravage Middle Earth with his flames from one corner to the next. Upon his awakening and battle with the dwarves, Smaug opts to assault the peaceful Laketown for sheer spite, even telling its defender Bard the Bowman that he will burn Bard's son alive in front of him before killing every last thing in the town.
• House of Hunger: Thiago is the "procurer" for the titular House of Hunger. A charming man who brings Bloodmaids for the Bathory family, Thiago knows full well he sells them to torture and eventual death where their very souls will be consumed, countless girls sent to the Bathories as long as Thiago himself profits.
• Fright Night Origins: Vlad Tepes is the man responsible for the turn of Jerry Dandridge to evil. Centuries ago, when Jerry was a heroic prince named Gellert, Vlad called him to fight in his armies. Vlad's habit of torture and impaling hundreds disgusted Jerry, who begged leave to return home, only for Vlad to slaughter his entire domain for sheer spite.
• The A-Team: Theory of Revolution: President Alexander Martien is the ruthless dictator of a South American nation, ruling via starvation, fear, terror, torture and executions. Suspecting rebels, Martien opts to try to kill his way through entire villages to get to his targets. Martien likewise tries mass executions, happily selling his own country out to personally profit.
• Daphne: Daphne Vann, in life, was a towering woman well known for disturbing anyone she encountered in the town of Samhain. Daphne was also a serial killer who captured children, killed, and then ate them. Upon dying, Daphne is far worse; a brutal ghost who approaches those who think of her, Daphne begins to haunt the Samhain girl's volleyball team, killing one girl after the other in horribly brutal fashions before centering on Kit Lamb, and trying to kill her and everyone around her.

Yeah, reading it over cut to the entity. And...as an aside I don't personally think saying stuff like 'tragic' is a problem. If anything I think it encourages the right mindset, that even if we would 'prefer' a guy to stay up it doesn't matter. But that's just me.

But anyways. Ordeaux gave me permission to discuss Harmony and Horror.

Here is the current keeper, Martin Greywhinder.

Martin Greywhinder ^note (the local William Afton expy) was the co-founder of M&H Harmony Toys alongside his brother. Even before his truly horrible crimes, he was reported to not be the best father and had several allegations of Domestic Abuse and child abuse. He eventually became obsessed with creating the "perfect toy"; to this end he made a Deal with the Devil, to make his toys lifelike, but in order to do so, he had to kill, a deal that would result in the deaths of several children. Martin would begin his quest by killing his entire family (including the baby and dog). He would eventually switch to murdering random kids using his multiple costumes to lure them, kidnap them, and finally murder them. After all of these killings, he would use Satanic rituals to bind their souls to toys where they would still be conscious but unable to die.

So, the recent video The miracle child has come out. Dealing with both what drove Martin to become a killer. As well as show...supposedly(Back on that later) Martin's brother Arthur, having survived his brothers assault and making plans to help the town and company heal from Martin's actions.

He was was a good, if just a tad egotistical man and a loving husband to Gloria. But he couldn't have children. And he was not willing to adopt because he wanted a child with 'his' blood. So Gloria instead went to Martin's brother Arthur and seemingly started an affair with him. Lying to Martin about it and claiming her pregnancy was just a 'miracle'. Essentially, his and Gloria's children are not his biological children, they are Arthur's. When Martin discovered this? Is when he began to grow more and more toxic and cruel. Finally culminating in his killing spree.

I Uhhh....don't personally think it's mitigating. Like, Martin murders Gloria then sacrifices her children to Satan and turns them into living toys in perpetual agony. Then murders a ton of other unrelated children too. He turns the family dog into a monster and tries to force him to kill a baby. It sucks that Gloria cheated on him but Uhhh....

The bigger potential rub for me is that it's implied Martin may have had a bad father himself. When he starts to get upset with Gloria early on she says 'I am not your father' to calm him down. But so far it's just one line and it has not been given quite the pathos needed to be mitigating, IMO.

For anything else? Its all but stated that the surviving 'Arthur' in the video is Martin having stolen his brothers identity to seize control of the company. And thus begun using it to continue his murder schemes, such as selling the murderous 'Fuzzy buddy' toyline from earlier this season. And opening up Harmony Arcadia to lure potential victims in.

So, I think Martin is still a keep, but do others agree? And if he does and warrants a rewrite, should we add that last bit or wait until it's confirmed if he is the Arthur impersonator.

I would be absolutely fine with a rewrite. When the approval thread is ready, I'll have my discussions ready for Don't Worry Darling, God of War, Bayonetta, Critical Role, and Wednesday as promised if nobody minds! Been waiting for those! Till then, I'll keep up with cutting/rewrites! Wet and I also have Hellraiser to catch up on, but with the changes, that's all I have for the recents here. SO, just to look forward to!

Addams family CM, that is something I never expected to see.

A rewrite sounds fine there Snoke, but I'd personally wait until we know for sure whether or not he's the Arthur impersonator. Other than that, I think you're clear to keep him and rewrite him!

I created a section at the bottom of the drafts page that lists all of the stuff for the weekly swaps which can be added onto as needed. I will start adding some of the writeups that were never added.

Also, just to clear 'em off? Nothing new to report with Terrifier 2 (Art still keeps, nothing new yet), no new keepers in Black Panther 2, that's for sure (Namor is deeeefinitely no CM, nowhere close) and nobody new keeps yet in Dragon Prince.

When it comes to my works. Transformers: EarthSpark doesn't have any keeps, the villain of the season while probably bad enough I think his Freudian Excuse is probably too legitimate. Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind has a keeper you all probably already know about but I need to wait for the proposal thread to open before I can do that.

Alright, for my pending write-ups...

• Mysterious Skin: The Coach is a seeming friend to all children, but in actuality is a despicable pedophile using his position to molest boys in his care. Coach has subjected many boys to his depraved actions, turning young Neil into his brainwashed accomplice who he forces to lure in other boys and engage in sexual activity with alongside Coach. Though having disappeared from the lives of the boys he abused long ago, Coach's vile actions tainted and tormented them all for life.

• The Hobbit: Smaug is a mighty dragon defined by greed and savagery. Ages ago immolating the entire civilizations of Dale and Erebor to claim their treasures, Smaug laid in wait until someone dared to trespass on his hoarded gold. Flying into a petulant rage at the presence of Bilbo, Smaug promises to destroy the nearby city of Laketown and all who inhabit it as an example of what happens to those who dare oppose him.

• The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead: Superintendent Spencer is the most heinous perpetrator of Nickel's racist, violent system of child abuse. Running the Nickel reform school for boys with an iron fist, Spencer subjects dozens of boys in his charge over the years to harsh beatings for the most minor of infractions, and allows his staff to run rampant with further sexual abuse of the children. Not limited to merely beating the boys, Spencer regularly takes particular boys "out back" and whips them to death if they personally fail him, dumping their bodies in a secret grave and silencing any witnesses to his atrocities. When young Elwood tries to expose his evil, Spencer viciously beats Elwood to within an inch of his life and throws him in solitary for weeks, later having Elwood shot dead when the boy tries to escape.

• Dead of Night: Werewolf by Night: Dr. Kalbfleisch is a twisted scientist who has dedicated his life to experimenting on the supernaturally mutated through his organization the "Babylon Group." Kalbfleisch has subjected countless living, sentient creatures to heinous tortures out of exploratory curiosity, reducing most of them to lifeless husks. Desiring to examine the lycanthropy afflicting Jack Russell, Kalbfleisch haphazardly kidnaps and sets the boy up with a fake family to routinely experiment on him. After the experiments lead to Jack slaughtering his family against his will and going on the run, Kalbfleisch sics Jack's monstrous sister on him and gets Jack's pregnant wife butchered, at which point Kalbfleisch takes the infant hostage and uses her as a hostage to turn Jack into his tortured guinea pig once more.

• Sherlock:
  • "The Hounds of Baskerville": Dr. Bob Frankland was once one of lead scientists in Project H.O.U.N.D., working with the group in testing an awful new hallucinogen on unwitting innocents who were subsequently driven into homicidal or suicidal mania, resulting in countless deaths attributed to the project. Going into hiding after the project was shut down, Frankland continues the experiments in the hopes of creating a new method of chemical warfare he can sell. When one of his co-workers tries to expose Frankland's heinous machinations, Frankland infects the man and his young son Henry with the chemical and beats Henry's father to death, spending years after trying to drive Henry to suicide with the hallucinogen to cement the cover-up.

Since this is the cut thread, I'm guessing if there's a point you want to question about a C Ms validity (you see a Pet the Dog on their character page for example) you bring it through here?

Cut Gein and the Entity, and just to report, one of the novels on my To-Do came in while the threads were closed (The Clackity). Long story short, the villain's a Snoke case in that there's probably more information to be revealed on him, since his fate is rather inconclusive and there's confirmed to be future books in the series.
