I admit that adding it to This Index Is Not an Example after finalizing the decision to cut it is finalized is amusing, but I'll pass because as you already said, we'd end up removing it right before the page is fully cut.

I brought up the idea of waiving the Three-Day Rule with the other mods in the case of Not Thriving threads with overwhelming consensus, and since this thread is for a wick-starved stock phrase and Stock Phrases Are Not Tropes, this will be the first "test subject".

The page has existed since 2011, but there are only 18 actual wicks. That shows it's starving per Wick. Tropes Needing TRS also has it launched after the No New Stock Phrases policy was in place, with no signs of a mod allowing an exception, and points that it has essentially no definition other than "person says 'I'm alive'". Overall, it's a clear cut.
