Almost forgot the sandbox exists.
Of the usable wicks, 31 of Fandom Nickname refers to Fan Nickname and 9 refer to Fan Community Nickname. Is that enough to disambiguate, or just clean up misuse?

Fandom Nickname would need to be completely dewicked, though, with examples being moved to either Fan Nickname or Fan Community Nicknames, since it's now a disambiguation page. Of course, its wick count isn't that high regardless of whether it's compared to Fan Nickname's wick count.

I know, but the count should decrease because plenty of trope and work pages potholing to Fan Nickname will have those links removed.

Numerous Creator pages have Fan Nickname as an entry, like Yoshitsugu Matsuoka an Zachary Quinto (somehow, the pump icon is disabled in the latter). Delete, right?

I'm leaning toward yes. I'm guessing they were there because of the rule saying Trivia goes on Creator pages, but since Fan Nickname is now YMMV and we don't allow YMMV examples about creators (only works that don't have their own pages), they might be safe to delete.
That sounds about right. People were following What Goes Where so they were just doing the right thing. I think I will try to incorporate some of the longer Fan Nickname entries into the descriptions.

- Fan Nickname: Kurumada is recognized for his innovative art styles used in fights; in which lots of them became textbook examples to the industry, and even memes to aspiring manga artists for practice.
- The Kurumada Balloon: One of Kurumada's style of Speech Bubbles in the form of pushing out several thick aggressive black paint strokes from a black speech bubble. Usually used for his character's attacks, and or when characters are having a Big "WHAT?!" moment.
- The Kurumada Fall: Kurumada's style of Face Plant. Characters frequently eat an attack, ragdoll, and land face first without it being a joke. Luckily, their good looks rarely pay the price, even when they grind chunks out of a stone floor or give it a new paint job.
- The Kurumada Flight: Kurumada's style of Megaton Punch. Attackers in this type of panel usually sticks to the bottom-right corner and brutally punches off their opponents with a gruesome upper cut sending them flying faced away from the camera. Usually paired with The Kurumada Balloon.
These are fan nicknames not for the person, but for works as a whole or works that don't have pages, right? Is this YMMV/ material?

In case anyone's wondering, most were potholes or tacked onto entries. I don't feel like spending precious hours writing complete entries in addition to cleaning.

Ah. The nickname part was audience stuff, so I migrated it to the YMMV tab prior to this post. Becoming an industry standard is some sort of trivia, though I don't know what.

I don't even know what I'm looking at with that paragraph. Is it referring to the trope-naming phrase as though it's a character with "Once" as a nickname? Because that makes no sense, so I don't think we need the Fan Nickname wick.

Removed it. Since Once is capitalized, I think it's still clear to the reader that it's being personified as part of the description's shtick.
