Opening.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI just reckon it is cutworthy.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”I'd be fine with making MadeOfIndestructium.Real Life as the new home of Tonka Tough examples.
Also, I couldn't help but notice that Made Of Nintendium is a redirect to Tonka Tough while just Nintendium redirects to Made of Indestructium, which seems to point toward Nintendo products falling under both already. (For example, the Game Boy that was bombed in the Gulf War and survived, which is the page image for Made of Indestructium.)
Edit: Also, the page image for Tonka Tough is a horribly blurry JPEG (I don't think I could clearly read the URL at the bottom even if I got new glasses), so the one on Made of Indestructium is better.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Cut and move examples to MadeOfIndestructium.Real Life.
back lolThe Tonka Tough image is watermarked too.
I agree with doing that as well.
Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Before we throw this in the shredder, are there any In-Universe examples? I can see this being used as a joke in like The Simpsons or something.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Even then, we could still just move those examples to Made of Indestructium and point out the reference.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessMade of Indestructium + Tonka Shout-Out. Maybe a paragraph in the former about famously durable real life objects. You know, Truth in Television blah blah blah.
Agree with Gaston Rabbit that Tonka Tough is just the real life version of Made of Indestructium and should be merged.
I have personally visited Nintendo New York about half a decade ago to see the Gulf War Game Boy on display and I can confirm that the specific Game Boy would make an excellent page image.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportI added a TRS notice to the page for now.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I wonder if "Surprisingly/Comically Indestructible Toy" might be tropeworthy.
I can't think of any actual examples, but I could see a work featuring someone trying to break a toy that makes annoying noises and repeatedly failing to destroy said toy.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Attempting to destroy something Made of Indestructium does sound tropeworthy...Also may relate to the Impossible Pickle Jar.
As for the topic at hand, I'll start up a single prop.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportI did the move, posted a notice on the discussion page of Tonka Tough, and changed Made Of Nintendium into a redirect of Made of Indestructium (it was a redirect of Tonka Tough).
Edit: Down to 94. The only Main/ wick left is a ghost wick, which I mentioned in the Locked Pages thread.

Tonka Tough, as admitted by its own trope page, is essentially real life examples of Made of Indestructium split off into their own page. It's written like sort-of-a-useful note—a lot of the examples approach Thread Mode—but it's not really useful enough to be a useful note, since it's just "here's a list of really durable products". Most all of its off-page examples are potholes; it doesn’t have any real examples because we generally don't trope products, and fictional examples are already covered by the other trope. Tonka Tough only sees usage as a trope if a real-life product's reputation for durability is being invoked in other media, which, again, would be better served under Made of Indestructium. Even the two pages' quotes and images are essentially interchangeable. I feel like the best solution would be to create a MadeOfIndestructium.Real Life subpage and redirect all examples of Tonka Tough to there.
