Given that the Fora TRS is now closed and it did discuss that its scope of merging many of these mini-tropes into Forum Speak should probably continue on Wiki Tropes, it makes sense to continue here.

I've also been using "Merge into Glossary" to mean "Add an entry to the Glossary and redirect the page there".

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. That's how I have been interpreting "merge into glossary" opinions, for the record.
There are a number of items that still only have 6,7,8 or 9 opinions.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI just saw that parabombing is now covered on Administrivia.Conversation In The Main Page, so that part is taken care of.
Edit: I changed the namespace of a couple of Main.Red Link wicks that were missed to link to Administrivia.Red Link, so the only remaining wick is on an archive page.
Edit: Main.TV Tropes More Like TV Quotes is now a redirect to Administrivia.TV Tropes More Like TV Quotes, since the page was already moved and dewicked before I made the redirect. Are we cutting the old Main/ locations of the pages we move to Administrivia? (Edited for clarity: I'm referring to pages that remain separate from the Glossary.)

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Surprised there are so many votes to outright cut the Law Of Wiki Expansion. This is a concept that comes up all the time on the wiki, especially in the context of debates on the scope of the Useful Notes namespace and ongoing discussions about whether new media X is tropable.
"It's just a show; I should really just relax"I cleaned up some more wicks for redirects to the Glossary. Blue Shift was being misused to refer to something that had nothing to do with wikis, and it wasn't being used in the astronomical sense of the word either.
Edit: I actually meant to mention that I finished cleaning up Main.Blue Link wicks, and the wick count on the Glossary's Related page is saying it still has one, but Blue Link's own Related page isn't showing any wicks for some reason. (Edit from a bit later: It was a ghost wick on Sandbox.Wiki Tropes. The wick on that page was removed several hours ago and was still showing up before I removed the non-ghost wick.)
Edit: Speaking of Blue Link, the opening post needs to be updated to remove it from the list of pages with split opinions, since it was already called.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. It's been over a week since the last post.
Has there been anything new? Any progress?
Or is this gonna be clocked if it hasn't been already?
I'll be over on DeviantArt if you need me.There's been no progress because we need votes on the sandbox. Why don't you add yours?
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI just added my votes in each of them.
I'll be over on DeviantArt if you need me.I've updated the opening post and will now call:
- Word Cruft: Keep but remove from Wiki Tropes.
- The Wiki Rule: Keep.
- Tropes Are Tools: Keep.
- Trope Dropper: Merged into Troper Types.
- Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment: Keep but remove from Wiki Tropes.
- Newly Popular Updating: Cut.
- Neologism: Keep but remove from Wiki Tropes.
- Lumper vs. Splitter: Keep but remove from Wiki Tropes.
- Law Of Wiki Expansion: Cut, will action this soon.
Aside from my complaint about TV Tropes Will Ruin Your Life, I have to question the Glossary option on Wiki Vandal too: As the wicks show it seems to be used more generally than TV Tropes.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI guess it can be spun into a trope, but it'd need narrative/character meaning and whatever.
We can add a Wiki Vandal offshoot to the Trope Idea Salvage Yard.
As for Tropes Are Tools, what was the consensus on removing it from Wiki Tropes, since it seems better suited to Trope Tropes, similarly to Missing Supertrope?
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Sorry for the double post, but it's been a week since I made my previous post, and I was wondering if anything new has come up in terms of what's ready to be called.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. We should change the description of Grammar Nazi to reflect that it is not a wiki trope anymore.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”Still too many things on Sandbox.Wiki Tropes that don't have a sufficient number of opinions.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWell, I can think of one of two things to do with them, considering how slow-moving this thread has been lately:
1. Use a Page Action crowner in this thread to decide what to do with them, with each unresolved page being listed on the crowner. Pages with multiple proposed actions could have multiple crowner entries, some of which would be mutually exclusive, and some of which wouldn't be. If we do this, we could advertise the crowner on ATT.
2. Move them to dedicated TRS threads (they can be listed on Tropes Needing TRS until there are slots for them) and close this thread.
Edit: I changed my vote for Data Vampires. Do we have enough consensus for moving that to the Glossary?

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Bump for more votes on Sandbox.Wiki Tropes.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI am starting to think that we should enact the agreed upon changes and punt the other pages to threads of their own. We can't keep this open forever and I'm not sure we'll get more votes in.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessBack in May ~Imperial Majesty XO was objecting towards treating items with less than 10 votes a consensus.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHas anyone advertised this thread on ATT?
Also, has anyone else objected to the proposal Septimus said ImperialMajestyXO objected to?

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I don't think it was advertised there, nor has anyone else really objected.
Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)TBF, I wasn't suggesting we treat them as consensus; I was suggesting we punt them into spin-off threads when slots are available.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIf your previous post was also suggesting punting options without consensus to separate threads, why did you bring up acting upon agreed-upon changes? Are there any Septimus missed?
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I brought it up mostly because I wasn't sure what we already did cleanup-wise. I didn't know if we took any actual action yet. I wasn't saying we missed anything, more that I was saying if we hadn't done the actual cleanup yet we should do that.

Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIf it hasn't been already I can make an ATT announcement for this thread.
EDIT: Done.

TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper Wall
Crown Description:
Merges in this thread led to the creation of two pages, Administrivia.Tips On Grammar (a guide on English grammar) and JustForFun.Wikipedia Behavior (a page about habits gained from editing Wikipedia spilling over to edits to TV Tropes). Should either of them be considered Wiki Tropes?
Yes.
Also calling Zapped, "TV Tropes"? More like "TV Quotes"!, Serial Tweaker, Red Link (to Administrivia/), Pothole Magnet (ditto), Pot Hole (keep), Parabombing (Glossary) and NMA (cut).
