Not sure what the point of archiving them would be since they're being cut for breaking the rules and wouldn't be brought back unless the page can be remade with better content, but you do you I guess...

Query: why is Haiku.There Is No Game being cutlisted? The cut list claims it's not a haiku, but this:

Really funny game.
The narrator insists that
it is not a game.

meets the criteria for a haiku.

Didn't realize it fit the rhyming scheme.

There's no "rhyme scheme"; it's about a syllable scheme. 5-7-5.

I meant that, realized now I put the wrong word.

First, in addition to being complaining and not fitting the format, I would like to propose a ban on entries that are just the same syllable repeated, like the one on Cluster Bleep-Bomb.

Just quickly running through the list, here are some pages that can be cut. Unless otherwise noted, they're being nominated for complaining.

By the way, is there any particular reason why Haiku-Wiki has a hyphen?

Fair.

Personally it's easy for me to tell what is and isn't a Haiku because of Jacksfilms, and his little Haiku tune that I read every Haiku in now. If something doesn't fit the tune, it's not a Haiku. But if you're just reading it straight on, it can be hard to tell.

Seriously though, before we cutlist these pages, we should make sure that none of the Haikus on them work. Haiku.Action 52 and Haiku.Batman V Superman Dawn Of Justice have ones that aren't bashy.

Also, I messaged Septimus Heap about the two haiku pages I updated so they can be removed from the cutlist.

Went through the My Immortal page mentioned earlier. Here are the ones I'm thinking we should cut:

Honestly, a lot of the ones on the page just seem to be written in good fun, poking fun at the fic without outright bashing on it.

There is, however, a weird trend of Haikus here making fun of Twilight.

Haiku.The Emoji Movie's first haiku is just complaining (and very lazy), and the second seems like complaining as well, but I'm not sure.

I think the second one is passable, I don't think they were necessarily bashing the film more than pointing out that Gene was defective, and that was "bad", but saved the day by returning to being defective.

It could be referring to how the protagonist starts the plot by making a face other than his assigned one and saving his phone by repeating it.

"Fire" can be pronounced with one syllable, and I have heard it pronounced that way, so I think we can let it slide.

It's just that when I use the little "Jacksfilms Haiku tune" I mentioned before, that last line really sticks out as not fitting the tune because of the extra syllable issue. I don't mind letting it slide, but it does stick out a lot to me.

Most of the haikus on Haiku.Dude Not Funny don’t seem to follow the structure.

It was last edited in 2015 too, before Dude, Not Funny! was made IUEO, I think.
