Tropers: The Series

"Some space jail. You sure we won't need you know...oxygen?"

Steph's heart can be heard as she wonders about the lack of oxygen in space, "Yeah, we need a lot of oxygen where we are going..."

Bob stands up, which takes quite a while due to his need of crutches.

"At least I don't need oxygen."

"... Why would you need that?" She asks, oblivious.

"Because oxygen is exchanged for carbon dioxide in our lungs." Steph says, trying to make an edutainment slant on things, "And without plants, we can't breathe without precious oxygen."

"Won't we just follow the rule of TV that allows people to breathe in space with no explanation?" I question, having been sitting here the entire time.

"That would be slightly boring if we went down that path." Steph's left-eye twitches from over-use of logic.

I shrug. "Well, that's on you guys, I guess. It's a good thing I genetically modified my lungs to function without the presence of oxygen" Saying this, I lean back and begin to file my nails nonchalantly.

Taco jumps. “What the? Who are you?”

"Hm? I'm Afterwards. You guys have known me for years, remember?"

"Hmmm... nope, never seen you before"

"Me neither."

"I've known you for about 30 seconds, does that count?"

"........................"

I wave my arm over all yall's faces and say,

"These are the droids you're looking for."

"Unfortunately, I am new. But it is good to meet you! Do you want to go on a space adventure?"

"Don't mind me, I'm just mining off this asteroid... Without a spacesuit. Why? Because Draconic Humanoids can breathe in space." KJ casually said.

"I don't know you either, I'm afraid... Anyway, my name is Chey and the sleepy bundle of cuteness I'm currently holding is my boyfriend Ford."

"Don't worry, this sub comes with plenty of space suits!"

Tropes presses a button. A compartment opens up, with racks for space suits, but is totally empty. The wall is embedded with the EA logo.

"Uh oh."

Cue canned laughter and an ad break. When it comes back, Tropes is frantically trying to make an online purchase.

"C'mon, c'mon..."

"I'm sorry, Ford who? I don't see anyone" I squint my eyes

"As much I want to help you... I can't. Left my wallet in my other robe."

Junon shrugs. Cue laughter.

(Cue canned laughter. Ford then wakes up.)
"Huh? Where am I?"
(Ford then looks at Chey.)
"Oh, hello, love. Where are we?"
"We're in the red submarine, sweetie. We're heading into space to break someone out of space jail. Oh, and we also have a newcomer."
"Oh, really?"
"Yeah."
"....Am I dreaming?"
(Chey then pinches Ford's cheek and smiles at him.)
"I guess that means no."

The viewpoint changes to camera four, which represents my vision. I see Chey smiling and talking to herself, even though no one is there. Viewpoint cuts back to camera one, where I am narrowing my eyes in suspicion.

"Well, I might as well get up."
(Ford then gets rid of the blanket and gets up.)

"Now, now don't ignore Ford. We treat him as any other cast member.."

She turns to Tropes

"Have we got those suits from Space Amazon yet?"

"Oh, I've actually got them here," says Puma, holding up a stack of folded space suits. "And the best part is, they're all specially designed to fit our personalities, just like our suits at the ball!"

Puma pulls out a space suit with circus stripes, and a big, orange fox on the chest. He then pushes the rest of the pile forward. "Come get yours!"
