New event.

• (Player1) breaks out in hives thanks to (Player2) hexing (him/her1).

• (Player1) gets bedridden with an illness thanks to (Player2) hexing (him/her1).

Took a look and yeah... I'm not sure about that one either. I'm a Pokémon fan and know what they are, but someone not into Pokémon would probably be pretty confused about that...

...actually it's probably postimg, checked a few other images there and none are working. Down For Everyone Or Just Me says it's down too, so...

x5 Yeah, unfortunately I don’t quite understand that Arena Event.

And while looking through the list of Arena Events to find that one, I found another rather questionable one - the Heartless event. I understand that one a little bit better, but chances are that some of us have no idea what the Heartless are or what they do. (Though one event does at least specify that a tribute’s heart is taken.)

Did some fixing with certain events of "no man can kill me" involving a certain Sayaka Miki nominator..... (cue a burning Death Glare). And I guess this will be the final gag save.

...... Next time I'd add the [=(Bracket)=] format and avoid suggesting events on mobile phones to get rid of autocorrect issue.

Also, #1037 should be: (Player1) gloats that no man can kill (him/her1), but (Player2) turns out to be an eldritch abomination and strangles (Player1) to death with tentacles.

And the killer should be Player2 alone, not Player1 & Player2.

welp, that could be a problem... but seems you can still access them by changing .org to .cc, thankfully (though unless they get this fixed, I now feel like going back to all the seasons I hosted and editing my old posts to the new working URLs...)

Maybe you should try and describe it. As for hosting duties.... I may not be able to, and I did said I'm doing both host and runner for Death Battle, which is adding to the burden. And other unexpected events has caught me unawares, so... I guess this season, I'll have to sit out from the hosting seat.

Speaking of running, I think I've got a good save. Still pondering on who the hell is the screener and who the hell is the host myself, though.

Yeah, I think describing them would work, just to have it make sense to anyone not familiar with the Ultra Beasts

Also, maybe leave a note somewhere about how anyone who wants to look through old seasons will have to replace URLs, at least for now?

Also, I feel that describing the Ultra Beasts in the arena event would also make the sub-events Narmy, so... should we release it like it was in a Nuzlocke run?

Database update: As of Season 74, the total tribute count would surpass 2,500 if group tributes are counted separately. I'm also going to salvage the Reaping, Placements, Death Summary, and Stats of the other seasons before they get completely lost.

You know, thinking on it, I think I actually do have the time and stuff to host this season. It has been a very long time since I last hosted, and I’m kind of excited to get back into it (though since I go back to school next week, opportunities will be quite rare). The only issue here is that depending on when I receive the screens, the season may not start until tomorrow, as it’s currently 8pm in my timezone.

In that case, yeah... it feels a bit fandom-specific for an arena event

Okay, I'll take a break from Database duty and do the screens.

You know, maybe I can do screening again, since I have my laptop with me once more.... but since I have other important affairs to deal with, I can't do so until at least an hour or two from now.

So, if everyone's no longer patient.... then state yourself as screener as soon as possible. Otherwise.... we'll all have to wait.

Alrighty then, thanks folks! My hosting skills may be a little rusty because it’s been so long - so long, in fact, that the last time I hosted was back in the days where the hosts didn’t spoiler out the deaths! So... yeah, gotta get used to that XD

Here are our fine tributes! Looks like we’ve got a lot of children involved in this season... let’s hope that nothing TOO terrible happens to any of them.

And now, without further ado, let the Games begin!

BLOODBATH

• To kick things off, Yang immediately seizes the opportunity to absorb something-or-other as a powerup, somehow corrupting some place I don’t know about and can’t be bothered to look up.
• Zan gets ’d!
• The Unmasked Hyness is possessed by AT-AT, and his body is used to seize the first kill. Looks like Ruruka won’t be putting her mind-controlling sweets to good use this season...
• Poor Captain Smith gets hit with a copyright violation.
• Wow, BOTH of my tributes die in the Bloodbath!? I haven’t been this unlucky in awhile...
• Rey shows her contempt at Ben 10 tributes.
• And our first Would Hurt a Child award of the season goes to... Haiji Senri! RIP James.
• I can’t blame you for that headsplode, Chun Li.

DAY ONE

• Chaos Kin has probably seen enough of the previous seasons to know that Ben 10 tributes never last long.
• Oh dear, are those gravestones part of a prank?
• Maybe him being a victim of possession earlier caused Unmasked Hyness to become a glitch?
• Sora has a Death Note!?
• You know you’re The Scrappy when your best friend is a Hot Rod. Unless... maybe Mineta is an autophile?
• The Devil Z lives up to his name, and Handsome Jack isn’t so handsome anymore.
• Wow, Rey is not only worthy of Luke’s lightsaber, but also a random sword in a stone!?
• Nonny tarnishes the Ninjas’ career.
• Felicity is so enraged by the unfairness in the contest that she literally kills seven adorable dogs. So I guess the cats win that “cats vs. dogs war”, then?
• A Bubble Guppies movie? Well... could be entertaining for the little ones, I suppose.

Why did you spoiler Burger King's "death"? He was merely KO'd by that boomerang.

That also reminds me of my hosting style, since I'm pretty much the last one who doesn't spoiler the deaths (except for the finale) because I felt that the players would be looking at the pics anyway, and my writing was pretty much glorified flavor text. But I promise that I'll follow that format the next time I host.

And I knew you would call out on that very first event. I remember when Anomalocaris 20 gave a fair warning about events that may cause Fan Myopia back when he was active.

It seems Joseph Bruce Ismay (chairman of the Titanic's operator and owner, the White Star Line) decides to let Captain Smith retire early. Well, there are rumors about him planning to retire after the Titanic, or her sister the Britannic. And we know what trope that is...

And the Princesses decides to honor Applejack and her family by doing the work themselves. Heh, heh, heh.

Well, essentially, Yang absorbs the life essence of Earth as it appears in Mortal Kombat, and that act will slowly destroy the realm. At least, that's what I think Shinnok's doing, before he plans to assault the Heavens....

Speaking of that, Dark Raiden would like to give you a few painful words. But at least it's not Mortal Kombat: Desperation....^note That story had him jump across the Moral Event Horizon, and there are too many atrocities he did to list here.

And yeah, I don’t mind fandom-specific events, as long as all the players, especially the host, is able to understand exactly what’s going on without having to Google anything or be familiar with the source material it’s referencing. Fan Myopia events are the worst, to be honest

Anyway, this came around much later than I expected (it’s almost midnight here now), and we started off with plenty of deaths anyway, so the next update will be tomorrow. Hopefully this is enough to satisfy you guys until then!
