Discuss TV Tropes itself, such as observations you've made about the site/forum/wiki.
NOTE: Keep it civil; try not to get into any Flame Bait-y territory, per the forum rules (in particular, drama importation and popcorn posting are not allowed, and this thread is for discussion about the site and not the users). In addition, while discussing the Edit Banned thread is not prohibited on its own, discussing and/or alluding to specific cases is not permitted.
One thing I've noticed is that for all how the page for They Might Be Giants claims them to be the unofficial official band of this wiki, there's relatively few people on this site who seem to ever reference them.

The subpages for To Boldly Flee are surprisingly positive in tone, considering that it's hated seemingly everywhere else on the Internet. Maybe that's just because they were written before the #ChangeTheChannel controversy?
Or its because it's edited by a fans who like it?
New theme music also a boxProbably. It's just a weird contrast with how it's viewed elsewhere.
Considering it has a lot of video examples, I don’t find it surprising.
This site does have a reputation of being more NC-friendly than anywhere else, or did at least.
On complete sidenote, has anyone ever gotten this weird reaction of "Wait a sec, is this thing It thought was popular... Not actually that popular?"
Like I've realized that when I looked up on gears tactics stuff that 1) there is no info on Gears of War 5 on trope page and 2) there is no discussion thread for it
Like I've never really been interested in checking out gears of war because of all warhammer 40k style armor designs and all the brown filters, but huh.
There's a difference between "popular" and "likely to be discussed on tv tropes".
Fortnite is extremely popular, but our thread for it got less than two pages of posts in eight years.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Doesn’t stop some people!
I mean, I was super into Fortnite for a while, but I never posted in the thread.
... At least in part because the thread seemed already dead.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Donkey Kong Country 2 wasn’t a redirect to Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest until just now, when I made it one.

A lot of people in the Roleplaying subforums have very few avatars.
artsy geek | any pronouns | "well, if you're hearing this, then chances are you've made a very poor career choice."It’s the same way almost everywhere else. I rarely see people outside Forum Games or Yack Fest with more than a page, or people who bother to change their gingerbread in general.
Well, that’d be jus’ a waste. Why would ya want to deprive the world of such anomaly as yourself? When playing many forum games, it's necessary to have a lot of avatars for variety.
If you don't play forum games, then there's no real point in having a large avatar gallery.
"I guess I just don't want you to feel like you're nothing. I don't want anybody to feel like that."There's also alot of forum games which involve avatars, which may prompt people to get a bunch of avatars.
Cassie | he/they | But will it stop the pain forever? / I just can't be sureMy avatars have sort of accrued over the years with the rare add on.
Who watches the watchmen?Quite niche, but seems like that more people (atleast in the Forum Games) know Puyo Puyo than The Magnus Archives.
Cassie | he/they | But will it stop the pain forever? / I just can't be sureI feel like a lot of podcasts here are very much obscure.
artsy geek | any pronouns | "well, if you're hearing this, then chances are you've made a very poor career choice."Fan Myopia is a very prevalent thing here.
Kumatora needs to be appreciated more. Appreciate her.I feel like Tetris gave Puyo Puyo a Newbie Boom.

I only got interested because I heard of Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. :p
Kumatora needs to be appreciated more. Appreciate her.I can't remember if I've said this already, but I went back multiple pages and didn't see it here, so...
I am really impressed that Infinite has his own Characters page. He only appeared in one game of a long-running series, and not a particularly beloved game. Most people agree that Infinite was poorly written, and some people probably even hate the concept behind him. With that in mind, I think it's really cool that he still managed to gather enough tropes to get his own page. I like him, so I consider this an underdog victory.

Still hoping for Klonoa to get a new game... or a movie like thisThe "mod hat on" color is a lot less distinguishable in light mode.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.I feel like Satanic Archetype is kinda overused on the wiki. While I haven't seen any examples that I would call misuse, exactly, some feel like more of a stretch than others.

Eh, that one I disagree with. I wouldn't find it surprising if, say, Travis Scott wasn't a Re:Zero fan, or an anime fan in general.
