Not sure that I agree with the removal of why Bob Ross had the afro to begin with on The Joy of Painting...I think the example could be rewritten to possibly condense that information and incorporate the part that's still on the page.

The issue is being stuck between ZCE-bait and creepy amounts of detail. Given that, my vote is to just make it Fan Speak and remove wicks.

Maybe we can find some tropes buried in the mix but with pretty much every example being a ZCE...what's the point?

Yeah I would go for just making a Fanspeak term, I don't see any other use for it. The examples aren't really camera focus anyways. Most just list any character with a gap between their skirts and their socks/boots

I think we should make the page In-Universe Examples Only, listing only cases where someone within the work uses the term or gives someone's outfit a grade.

I haven't watched every anime ever but never heard zettai ryouiki mentioned (in fact had no idea about it until I found tv tropes) To my knowledge it's mostly acknowledged in fan circles but not so much in the works themselves

The fact that the entry’s been around nearly a decade and has accrued no/negligible numbers of In-Universe example suggests “no”.

Out of morbid curiosity, what did examples of Zettai Ryouiki with "creepy amounts of detail" look like? Apparently an old TRS thread chose to keep the ranking system because otherwise it attracted creepy examples. I wouldn't mind making it definition-only.

I’d honestly prefer making it a fan speak term since I really don’t see an actual trope here. I’ve never seen it used except as a slang term by the perpetually horny. :P

I've said as much before: even if there actually is a way to write actual examples without them sounding pervy, nobody's been ever able to suggest a consistent meaning for the trope. Or rather "trope."

Yeah, I think Fan Speak is the way to go, and any pointing-out of this In-Universe (like the quotes on the Quotes.Zettai Ryouiki page) can probably just go under Shes Got Legs anyway.
