TLP Crash Rescue - Fixing prematurely launched TLPs and pages

Just saw the page Idol Genre, I think it needs some time in the oven, because it has quite some issues:

• The lead is about two pages long and goes into excessive detail, it also reads like a useful note page
• It has two lists of non-examples, one above the tropes list in plain sight with influences on the genre and a group of folders below the actual examples with works that are mistaken for the genre.
• There's a list of subtopes with things like Five-Man Band and Tournament Arc, right next to Idol Singer and Magic Idol Singer.
• There are multiple zero context examples
• No crosswicks, barring some genre pages

In my opinion the page is a hodgepodge of ideas and needs a heavy re-write to bring it in line with other pages.

Harboured & Encompassed is a six-month-old stub. Creator messaged.

if it's made six months ago, it's worth a cutlist, but we'll see if they acknowledge the notifier first.

Otokonoko Genre also has a list of non-examples and several of the anime demographic pages (Josei, Seinen, etc) have examples of works that are mistaken for being in the demographic. Is this not allowed?

Simple Spiral Wings was stealth launched (by the sponsor, at least) but with no discussion as soon as it got a net five hats.

I wouldn't bring it up, but the last post on the TLP was someone questioning its tropability as an appearance trope and ZCE-magnet.

Harboured & Encompassed was actually a 2-year-old stub, but I've read the fic, too, so I added some tropes and wrote the description. (I'm actually a fan of this fanfic writer and I love this fandom, though this particular fanfic is not exactly my jam, but I hope this will do.)

Nice job on fixing it up!

I haven't heard anything on my post about problems with the the then recently launched page Idol Genre.

I can fix the page up, but if it were to be unlaunched, it would've been a waste of time

Irene Iddesleigh was created on the 27th of February, is un-indexed and has only one example that isn't a Zero-Context Example.

I sent the troper who created the page, a couple of notifiers 3 days ago, but they haven't responded.

Time to cutlist, then.

Requesting Out-of-Control Popcorn be unlaunched, solely because the title is wrongly formatted; it should be Out "Of" Control Popcorn; the lowercase "of" messes it up.

Cut Armor Meter Points, because we want to split it into Meter and Points tropes?

Looks like Popcorn got resolved.

I think I did something wrong with Ski-Resort Episode, because on the front page, it still looks like it's Camel Cased. Though it otherwise looked fine when I cross-wicked it. (Episodes, for example)

It looks like somebody already did this, because it said "Pending Approval: Ski-Resort Episode" on there.

Exit, Pursued by a Bear is 6 years old and has 158 inbounds but has 2 wicks and is unindexed.

Fixed it for ya. In the future I think that type of thing is better for Pages needing crosswicking.

Obscure Popularity was recently launched but I don't think it was launch ready.

Furniture Blockade was launched, but I don't think it's ready because I feel like there could be more improvement on it, especially on the description.

Has Tunnel of Love been launched too soon?

It was first proposed four days ago. The creator has launched it despite also stating that it needs an image and might need a better description.

It did take me a few moments to figure out why this possibly might not be The Same, but More Specific for Old Fashioned Row Boat Date, but I feel the trope relationship with the existing trope hasn't been properly set up (it seems like a sub-trope to me but is just referenced as 'compare to' right now). Also, at the moment, the trope is feeling a little bit like 'just list anything that has a Tunnel of Love scene in the work'. It tries to pull out a storytelling use for the Tunnel of Love, but I feel it's a bit sketchy; it also sticks to the positive romantic connotations and ignores the storytelling use of the Tunnel of Love for some kind of Awful Truth reveal where the couple comes out of the tunnel not speaking to each other instead of romantically together — but there is one example that mentions this idea, so the description doesn't make clear if the negative scenario is inside or outside scope.

On the subject of examples, the entries mostly seem a bit sketchy. There's some ZCE issues going on which contribute to the 'tunnel of love occurs in this work' feel of it; there are also some example indentation issues.

The whole thing just comes across as rushed to me.
