A great crime-solving detective series starring a Catholic priest as the impromptu detective. The suspense and mystery plot of each episode is top-notch, and the moral lessons that the show explores serve as great reminders for the need of the human race to strive to be as morally pure as possible.
This show tells a great ongoing story about a small police force stationed on the fictional Caribbean island of Saint Marie.
I particularly love the cast from Seasons 3 — 9.
They are very charismatic and have a great rapport with each other.
There's also plenty of people of colour as main characters in the show. And they are all written well.
That's always a huge plus in my book.
Two Quick Questions: 1-Anyone knows a good series about young people in London. I'm looking for something like Degrassi, but not as dramatic. 2-Anyone knows where I can hire British TV experts? I'm working on a project and need some help.
The Jersey (which doesn't have a page on TV Tropes as of yet)
A Disney Channel Tween Drama that aired from 1999-2001, it revolves around four high school students—Nick, Morgan, Coleman and Elliot—nicknamed the "Monday Night Football Club". Nick receives a rather odd present on his birthday: his great-grandfather's yellow and blue jersey he wore as part of his high school's football team. Turns out, it's not just an ordinary jersey—it gives Nick the uncanny ability to become a famous sports star via Demonic Possession.
The series is set in St. Louis, Missouri but was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, as was another Disney Channel series in So Weird. It had two crossovers, the first being with Archie's Weird Mysteries (made by then-sister studio DiC Entertainment), where the jersey is inadvertently transported to the world of Archie Comics and in turn accidentally gets the Archies sucked into the real world; the second was a rather bizarre one with the aforementioned So Weird, which also happened to be its Grand Finale as well.
Deeply Enjoying 'Resident Alien' which is a Dark Comedy on Sci-Fi.
Sanity is the Lie, there is only Madness.Labyrint. It is a steampunk-themed competition programme. Very fun, especially after Håvard Lilleheie got the role as Daidalos.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”In line with The Jersey is The Odyssey another Canadian kids Sci-Fi classic. This one's about a kid who gets knocked into a coma and wakes up in this weird world in his subconscious where no one ages past sixteen the kids survive and govern by forming clubs and cliques like kids are wont to do. There's also a long running subplot about the kid's dad who died but maybe didn't.

Just finished Surreal Estate, and THAT is a unique show. Greatly enjoyed it.
Sanity is the Lie, there is only Madness. The Big Leap on Fox has been great so far. I would recommend checking it out if it interests you, it's better than it seems!
It’s not about the desti-something, it’s about the whatever.I love Yellowjackets (Showtime) but I am the only one in my household who watches. Nobody in my FB feed seems to watch either.
Is it doomed to cancellation on account of being one of those shows that gets good reviews but nobody watches?
If you haven’t checked it out yet, the finale of Our Flag Means Death came out today, and I highly recommend the show. It’s an excellent blend of comedy, drama, action, and romance.
It’s not about the desti-something, it’s about the whatever. If you're looking for a good old-fashioned sitcom based around a group of friends, Grand Crew is a new one that wrapped up season 1 a few months ago and just got renewed for a season 2. It's on NBC, Peacock, and Hulu.
Aside from having an all-black cast, it's not re-inventing the wheel in any ways, but the writing is funny and the cast has excellent chemistry across the board.
For those liking classic sitcoms, you should check out the bob newhart show, it's a classic and one of my favorites.

If you guys want a Revenge show that doesn't have many action scenes or that isn't a soap opera, there's a Korean show called The Glory. It's a two parts show that is about a former bully victim who starts her revenge plan on the bullies, starting with becoming the bully leader child's teacher.
“What is that? It's The Unknown!”Oh hey I finished watching this show called Yellowstone. It's a really complex Neo-western tv show that stars Kevin Costner as the main character John Dutton whose trying to protect his land from being taken by any means necessary. Yellowstone also spawn two prequel series 1883 and 1923 while a Sequel Series starring Matthew Mcconaughey once the 2nd half of season 5 is done airing. Anywho I'd recommend watching Yellowstone and its spinoff for anyone who enjoys Western works (Yellowstone is on Peacock while 1883 and 1923 are on Paramount +)
I just started Fellow Travelers and it is so good but also dear lord above, if you watch it do be ready for it be quite explicit, I was not expecting it to be as explicit as it was. But if you're ready for that and you want a queer historical drama? Would recommend.
Stand up against pinkwashing, don't fall for propogandaSpeaking of Bubblepig's suggestion of the Glory, there is another Revenge Korean series that isn't soap opera or dark. It's called Taxi Driver. It just aired 2 seasons and it's about a taxi service that provides revenge for it's clients and trust me it gets really chaotic from there.
Hi this might have come up before but can someone advise me on a K!Drama recommendation that isn't romance? Thank you in advance!
I saw and liked Squid Game but almost all other kdramas on netflix at least seem to be romances or at least heavily include romance.

Hogan's Heroes
A World War 2 comedy from the 1960s that's more funnier and creative than any modern comedy today.
