This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking for an Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

The quote on 4Kids Entertainment is not only complainy, but also pretty long. It can go, but I don't know what to replace it with.
/ Both of those replacements look good.
The Super Nintendo Entertainment System currently has four page quotes, all of which are different slogans it's had over its run. I think the first one works the best, but I'm open to other people's feedback.
I agree, the first one is best.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. That was pushed back at the bottom of the previous page, so reposting:
I'm thinking the quote on Reference Overdosed is a bit underwhelming. Making lots of reference doesn't make it overdosed.
I'm thinking this example from "Super-Showdown-Bowl!" would make a better page quote:
First quote is best.
dropping by just to point out that the pages Devious Dolphins and its superpage, Dolphins, Dolphins Everywhere, have the same page quote. maybe we should change for one of them?

Twitter/Instagram: anzasquiddles. Deviantart: anzahanifathallah. For Ocean Madness:
Red Mage: Black Mage? You're narrating again.
Black Mage: My companions succumbed to sea madness weeks ago.
Thief: Dude, it's been two and a half hours.
Black Mage: I alone maintain a gimmer of humanity. I fear it is fading fast.
Red Mage: What kind of dark wizard in league with nameless forces of primordial evil are you that you can't even make a successful sanity check versus boredom?
Black Mage: I ignored the pitiable babbling that issued from their misshapen lips. Their wet gurgles, a noise that had once been words, came to and end when one of the things outside assaulted our craft. I welcome death.
Kind of long for my tastes, but if that’s what we go with the trope potholes would need to go.
SoundCloudnah, that's way too long.
my brain is a computer with 4k of ram. this is a jokes wikiToo long. Cut it down to just the first Black Mage line.

I think up to Thief's line would be clearer, since just the first line doesn't mention they've been at sea.

The first line is already the quote on Eldritch Ocean Abyss.
Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy
I removed the pothole, but even with it being mentioned below it has been added for the at least 4th time. Permission to add a note not to add potholes because this page have been a prevalent problem with it despite all other efforts?
Spark9 reverted the Charles Bukowski quote on Writer's Block to the Asimov quote we removed a while back. I've sent him a message to come here, but I want to make sure that we agree on reverting it.
This would work perfectly for Series Fauxnale if a 13th Captain Underpants book had been released... but it hasn't happened yet.
Still good enough, you think?
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. The page quote on Accidental Aesop misunderstands the Audience Reaction. Accidental Aesop is when the audience sees an aesop in a work that wasn't intended to have one, while the page quote is about someone seeing a different aesop than the intended one.
Well, I was not aware it had been discussed here.
That said, the Bukowski quote (about "writing on writer's block") is an example of "How I Wrote This Article" Article, not of Writer's Block; so it doesn't belong on the latter page.
Page quotes can be discussions of a trope, and the Bukowski quote is definitely a discussion of Writer's Block; in any case it gives a better idea of what a Writer's Block is than the Asimov quote does.
I don't agree that a simple "X is better than Y" gives any idea of what X or Y actually are.
When X is Writer's Block and Y is the definition of Writer's Block, then it explains what Writer's Block is.
Edit: That said, we can use a voice other than me and Spark9 in this argument.

"Writing about writer's block is better than writer's block" is indeed a relevant description of writer's block and not just an "X is better than Y" comparison.
... That said, it's kinda lackluster. Any better suggestions?
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Chaos Architecture is about places and sets inexplicably looking different between installments (The Other Darrin, but for locations), but the quote describes a location that is known for changing shape in-universe.
Nothing on the quote page looks good... and there's nothing on the trope page. I'd just pull it. Better no quote than a misleading one.
Crown Description:
What should be the page quote for Monster.Fan Works?
The current quote on Fat and Skinny seems long and complainy. I think the first one on the quotes page could be a good replacement.
