Fixing zero context examples

Kratts' Creatures has a lot of ZCE and low context examples.

Same with Hank Green.

I got a question, is it okay if someone is deleting all the commented-out ZCE's on a page? Or is that breaking a rule in here?

Yeah, that's not kosher unless:

• It's for TRS work, in which case ZCEs have to be considered misuse
• The person deleting them already knows for a fact they're misuse
• The page they're on is being cut

But no, deleting commented-out ZCEs is generally not acceptable. We hide them to get people to expand them. If we wanted them deleted, we wouldn't hide them in the first place.

Oh thanks, someone already posted the issue in ATT and the one who did it deleted a lot of ZCE's on multiple pages so I was thinking if it's kosher or not.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I delete ZCEs only if there is absolutely no attempt to add context (which usually means just the trope/work/character name and nothing else.) Otherwise I comment them out and hope someone else can fix them up.

All but three examples on Gang Of Critters are ZCE.

The description doesn't look very good either.

Found Jeremy Messersmith's page and more than half are ZCE's and low context. Commented all of them out.

X5 That... I don't think is an example. The entire paper repeats a certain (moderate) phrase liberally throughout, more like a Cluster F-Bomb. (They seem to have given it a very specific definition for the purpose of their studies). I have not been able to find other common english swear words in the paper.

Even if it was an example, the pothole link should center on "Psycology Paper" with a little explanation.

Commented out a ton on Pro Pinball: Timeshock!, there's probably more however that need to be commented out as I mainly stuck with the obvious ones.

Lestat has a bunch of ZCE's. I'll have to go back and comment out as much of it as I can.

Was removing a Bi The Way wick from Fangs & Fins and like 75% has no context but I am. So tired

Off the Page and into Life is 95% zero/insufficient context. (Since character sheets are an extension of the work, should there be a higher bar than like, 10 examples?)

stumbled across and cleaned Zero Zero Zero This Comic Appears First Alphabetically.

I'm not sure if someone already posted this, but nearly all examples in Film-Animation, Films-Live-Action, Live-Action TV, Webcomics, and Western Animation folders in Amazing Technicolor World are ZCE's, and the rest have one or two low context ones. Can I comment out the entire folders or not?

VideoGame.You Have To Burn The Rope has plenty of examples with barely any context.

Most of those examples are either giant spoiler blocks or Captain Obvious things like "This game haves ending credits" or "There is a giant boss that is huge"

If the game doesn't give us much to work with (which is likely), that'll probably never get a fix.
